"Stayed at HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa and really enjoyed it! The hotel has a very unique manga/comic-style design, which makes the whole place feel fun and very “Tokyo.” 🎌
Check-in was super easy because they have self check-in kiosks, so the process was quick and hassle-free. The room is small (pretty typical for Tokyo), but it’s comfortable, clean, and well designed.
They also provide free amenities plus coffee and tea, which is a nice bonus. ☕
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo! 👍"

"Ok - so I reviewed this place before. My evaluation changed slightly because the train stop located just steps away didn't readily connect with trains going places we or most others would like to go.
Breakfast is good, there is a lot of green if you like that color. One drink pictured is matcha, another is diluted Calpis melon.You could also get a green salad if you desired.
This place is a good value. Rooms are fine, bed comfortable, pillows ok, refrig, blow dryer, electric kettle, etc. There is not a lot of room, but we were fine as a couple.
The facility has no onsen or swimming pool, but given the value of real estate in Tokyo, that is to be expected."

"Location, location, location!
We moved to Shibuya Granbel hotel from another apartment in Shibuya, so we can be closer to the JR station to take the Narita Express to catch our flight the next day.
The front door of the hotel is quite interesting. It is a huge wooden slate, that you have to push to reveal the interior. I found it cool. 😃
Our room was clean and well-equipped, and we had a very comfortable one night stay. It is good sized for 2 people. And even though our room was close to the elevator, we did not hear any noise at all.
From the hotel entrance to the train station, it was just a 2 to 3 min walk to the new JR station South Gate.
Really an awesome location for people who have to catch the Narita Express from Shibuya station."

"we had a great time staying here. location just near by Metro station. The public area/kitchen have beautiful river view. The only real drawback was the bathroom—it felt a bit old and could use a refresh. Still, it’s a solid budget choice for a short trip, just don’t expect anything too fancy."

VVieraskäyttäjäHuone ei ole suuri ja sijainti on erittäin hyvä Näet sen JR-asemalta. Vastaanotto ja aamiainen ovat molemmat kolmannessa kerroksessa. Vaikka aamiainen ei ole niin monipuolinen kuin kotimaiset hotellit, se on erittäin japanilainen ja laadukas. Tällä kertaa jäin huoneeseen 1108. Sängyn pää oli lähellä ikkunaa. Huone oli metroon päin, joten kuulin selvästi rautateiden äänen nukkuessani, jos unen laatu ei ole hyvä pysyä rivien 08, 09 ja 10 huoneissa. Ympäröivä alue on erittäin kätevä syömiseen ja ostoksille. Hotellissa ei ole paljon kiinalaisia, mutta enimmäkseen japanilaisia paikallisia ja ulkomaalaisia, joten aamiaisen aikana ei juuri kuulu ääntä.

WWhatzthepointThough the room was a little small(typical of Tokyo hotel rooms), it is well laid out with all necessities. There’s complimentary coffee/tea and snacks at the lounge area after breakfast hours. From 8-10pm, Ochazuke(Rice soup) is available for supper. The reception staff were all very helpful. Walking to Tokyo Station takes about 12-15mins. Ginza is just mins away. Our family had a great time staying at Hotel Intergate Kyobashi.

The subway entrance of Higashi Ginza station is nearly right in front to the hotel front door so you can access to several tourist locations near grey line or deep pink line easily. I realized hotel in Tokyo do not have hotpublic bath but this hotel has one!! You can also check how crowded the bath is from your room through TV monitor. The hotel offers Happy Hour service where you can enjoy free flow of sake, wine, beverages and simple snacks like dried fruits and chips from 5pm to 9pm. Hoteliers are all very kind and helping which made overall experience at this hotel incredible!

PPonyTaroWhile the room is not big, and the air condition coupd take some times to start getting cool, the hotel is nice. The breakfast is a normal japanese breakfast, so it would be a big plus for anyone who love those kind of meals
The location is really convenience. Just 10 minutes pf less walking from useno and okachimachi stagion, surrounded by all the foods, shoppings, and night life. (And it was very quiet and serene in the morning. )
The onsen/public bath is good. If you are early or time it a bit, it would be almost no one there. A plus for those who might be intimidated by the culture. Also, maybe most of the customers are foreigner, the percentage of public bath enjoyer looks pretty small.

PPrincessPattingThe room was perfect for our family since everyone had their own bed. The beds were comfortable, which made resting after long days of sightseeing easy. The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There’s also a grocery store and a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The laundry area was another nice bonus for families traveling longer. Overall, a great and convenient stay in Ueno.

VVieraskäyttäjäWhen you check into this hostel, you need to pick up your own items like towels, a comb, a toothbrush, toothpaste, earplugs, and slippers from the front desk. You’ll have to carry them to your room without a tray to hold them.
The sleeping area has bunk beds, but there’s a lack of privacy. On the second floor, there’s a gap about the width of a hand between your bunk bed and the one next to it, making it easy to hear others.
Additionally, there are no individual lockers by each bed to store your luggage securely.
For female guests, accessing the women’s bathroom requires passing by the men’s toilet, which may feel inconvenient or uncomfortable. Thanks for the complimentary drink. There is also a common kitchen on the third floor with free water and you can also use the microwaves to heat your food.

AAggukilySo I don’t know what these negative reviews are all about however when my partner and I arrived at the reception they were quick as well as very kind and they even held our luggage as we wanted to wonder around in the city before our check in time. The room wasn’t too small as we expected from the price we were paying in Ginza and it was heavily packed full of amenities which was perfect and greatly appreciated.
We’ll definitely come back, thank you!!!
(my boyfriend also really liked the fact that the TV was opposite of the bed so he could watch it as he was lying down)
