"Stayed at HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa and really enjoyed it! The hotel has a very unique manga/comic-style design, which makes the whole place feel fun and very “Tokyo.” 🎌 Check-in was super easy because they have self check-in kiosks, so the process was quick and hassle-free. The room is small (pretty typical for Tokyo), but it’s comfortable, clean, and well designed. They also provide free amenities plus coffee and tea, which is a nice bonus. ☕ The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo! 👍"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The price-quality ratio is excellent. The location is very convenient — only a 5-minute walk to the метро. There are many convenience stores nearby, which is very helpful. The hotel offers complimentary coffee 24/7, and at the reception you can take any necessary amenities such as skincare products, bath salts, combs, toothbrushes, and toothpaste — everything is thoughtfully provided. When we were checking out, it was raining, and they even had umbrellas available for purchase for just 100 yen — such a nice little detail. House pajamas and slippers were replaced daily. The room was very clean. We stayed in February, and it was slightly drafty near the door, but the heating worked well and made the room comfortable at night. The breakfast was good and filling. They also provide luggage forwarding service to your next destination. The staff helped us fill out all the forms and sent our suitcases to Kyoto — it was very convenient. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again."

"We loved almost everything about this hotel. The price, the location and the cleanliness. Toiletries, slippers and bath robes are also always readily available in front of the elevator so you wont forget to take what you need before you go to your room. Our only concern was you cant leave your luggage for free. We had to use the coin lockers (500yen per locker) at the lobby but other than that, the hotel is very good for couples and families who would like to stay at a quiet area."

"The hotel is nice, it's quite spacious, quiet and has all the necessary tools. The view on the skytree tower is also terrific. The pillows are also not the worst. I would stay there one more time, but there are some small cons, of course: - the furniture may be a little bit worn out, - there is a kettle but no tea etc. - reception staff is not that often seen but we didn't have any problems to need them - distance from the subway and buses, especially if you use the Tokyo metro pass. To summarize: for me the price-quality ratio here for Tokyo is quite good, moreover in this district I wouldn't like to live near the subway as it gets super crowded and noisy."

"I had a great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku. The location is excellent — very close to Shinjuku, yet comfortably away from the crowded and noisy red-light district. It’s quiet at night, which made resting after a long day of sightseeing much more enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages is the metro station right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo. Traveling to major attractions and other parts of the city was fast and hassle-free. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and a peaceful environment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo and looking for easy transportation access without the chaos of central Shinjuku."

"Stayed at this Tokyo hotel, typical in size for the city, but very convenient. The location is excellent—right behind the market and next to a FamilyMart, making it easy to grab anything you need. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The bathtub is a good size, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The only downside is that the curtain doesn’t completely block out light, so if you prefer a very dark room for sleeping, it might be a little bright."

"Overall is good👍👍👍. The location is a bit far away from the railway station, need to walk around 10-15 minutes. However, there are quite a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Can definitely feel the local living atmosphere in Tokyo. More, the staffs are pretty friendly and can communicate well with visitors. The bedroom and washroom are also tidy and comfortable."
