The area: It’s 2 stations away from Ueno with lively streets full of bars and restaurant and direct line to the airport. It’s 5 minutes walking from Kappabashi road and all the Kuramae local, quite and cute area. The bathroom and toilets were super clean and have large space. One shower room also have a bathtub so I could have bath during the stay. The cube is quite large en confortable, you can stand on your bed. There are many places to store your things inside and there is a huge storage room under the bed were you can put a large luggage, maybe 2 and you can lock everything. Everybody is very quiet so you are not disturbed by noise.There are 2 convenience store downstairs and other fast food western and Japanese food. It’s 5 minutes walk from a metro station where you can be in Shibuya directly in 30 minutes. I recommend 1000% to stay there that was a great experience for a capsule hotel! Z’d the location was perfect !

Se on hyvin lähellä Akihabaran asemaa, se on todella vain 250 metrin päässä, ja kuljetus on erittäin kätevää! Sisätilat ovat erittäin täydelliset, ja kylpyhuone on itse asiassa erillinen huone, joka maksetaan saavuttaessa.Se ei ole iso kylpylä yhdessä, kuten kuvitellaan. Sisäänkirjautuminen alkaa klo 16. Jos saavut aikaisin, voit levätä tai työskennellä ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Hinta/laatusuhde on erittäin korkea.

I have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.

The room was so big and clean !everything was good the downside is you need to rent a towel for 100yen .because i dont want to go back again at another building which is the reception is there i use a face towel instead.me and friends stay there but if i will have a chance again i would like to comeback .by the way they have a toast ,soup and coffee for free .

Viime aikoina asunut Ueno Station Hostel Oriental I Tokiossa, ja yleisesti se oli erittäin tyydyttävä kokemus, varsinkin yksin matkustaja etsii mukavuutta ja arvoa. Suurin etu tästä hostelli on varmasti sen sijainti. Se on vain noin 3–5 minuuttia kävelymatkan päässä Ueno Station, mikä tekee siitä erittäin mukavaa päästä ympäri Tokyo. JR-linjojen, Tokyo Metron ja Keisei Line Narita Lentokentälle, kuljetus oli yksinkertainen ja stressivapaa. Ympäröivä alue on elävä, runsaasti ravintoloita, käteiskauppoja, ja suosittu Ameyoko ostoskatu lähellä. Hostel itse on kapselityylinen majoitus vain miehille. Kapselit olivat kompaktia, kuten odotettiin Japanissa, mutta puhdas ja hyvin ylläpidetty. Jokainen sänky tuli oman valon, virtalähde, ja puutarha yksityisyyden suojaan. Vaikka voit joskus kuulla muut vieraat liikkuvat ympäri, se oli yleensä tarpeeksi hiljaa levätä mukavasti pitkän päivän tutkia kaupunki. Suosittelen tuoda korvakoruja, jos olet kevyt nukkuja. Ajattelin varmasti jäädä tänne jälleen seuraavalla matkalla Tokioon.

Location in reasonable distance from Shinkuju station and close to Shinkuju Sanchome. Service was very helpful and English was very communicative. The only one issue was that they requested 500 yen for calling a taxi. Clean rooms and corridors. 1AM-6AM hotel is closed. Positive opinion for solo travelers spending time outside and using hotel mainly for sleeping and washing.

We are 5 people family stay on Oct25. Our room is on 1st floor which is very convenient. The room is spacious with tatami floor in majority. Though there is limited facilities(2 small folded tables and small bathroom), it has seperate toilet. For big family like us, bathing was always problem in the morning. There is however, extra toilet and bathroom outside of our room. So we can reduce prep time in the morning. There were also microwave,boiling kettle, wash sink, and utensil for eating. This place is also very near to the station and many convenient store nearby. The cleanliness is not the best, but this place is affordable, clean, and their service is quite good. I would recommend it for anyone who is not too picky and want convenience.

I wrote a longer review of this place that covers the basics. After I ended a business trip I decided to stay on in Tokyo so just rebooked at this spot on the app. It seems like the staff here run bookings mostly with a hand written ledger --- when I mentioned to them I was staying longer they just made a note of it and then left me a message when it was confirmed, very chill. Overall the staff at this place were pretty great. I was there for two weeks and in the time I was there I saw maybe like ten different people working there. As an English speaker, sometimes there was a language barrier, but it was never really a problem, and there is clear signage about all of the most important policies all over the place in English, Korean, and Chinese. It was always a friendly experience, most of the ppl working there were older with a kind of caring auntie vibe, so that was fun. At one point I asked to move bunks because a guy on my floor was super sick, and they arranged it with no hassle or fuss, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place for the staff.

I had flight early in the morning, at 3am. Therefore I needed a cheaper place from evening till midnight, closer to the airport. I chose this because of the price and also because of my flight timings. This is a self check in, self check out type of facility. Most of the process takes place online only, with no human interactions. It is reasonably clean and convenient for solo travelers. There was only one more person, therefore it was quiet and suited my needs well. I checked in around 4pm and checked out around 11:30pm night without spending the whole night there. However, the email messages and also the printed messages there carry the tone ”If you do this, we will fine so much”, an American style of approach than Japanese - having disclaimers or warnings for almost everything. It was not a pleasant feeling to see this type of approach, but understandable since it was being managed mostly online, with no frills approach. Some of the reviews mentioned that the shower room is dirty and needs cleaning. I observed that this is indeed true. I took photos of the shower rooms and communicated with this company on email about the online reviews, my observations and the need to do some maintenance. I received a reply from stating that this issue will be looked into. Overall, this is a suitable place for solo travelers who are looking for a cheaper place closer to the airport.

생각보다 컨디션도 좋고 아사쿠사 가기도 편하고 지하철도 도보 5분 안 쪽으로 갈 수 있어요. 주변에도 맛집도 많고 편의점도 로손, 패밀리마트, 세븐일레븐이 5분 안으로 주변에 있습니다. 일단 개인욕실은 방 안에 있진 않습니다. 밖에 있습니다. 2층을 사용했고 201호 202호 였습니다. 방 2개면 밖에 화장실 두개 욕실이 2개로 그걸 호실 전용으로 쓰는 겁니다. 사진이 없어서 욕실 사진만 올리겠습니다. 각 따로따로 되어있어서 좋았습니다. 단점은 딱히 없는데 주인아주머니가 약간 깐깐 정도 불 친절하진 않았습니다. 그래도 잘 묵었습니다. 3박4일동안 그리고 한가지 12시가 지나면 문이 잠겨요!!! 이 점 참고하세요! 다들 즐거운 일본여행 하세오😆
