A Pleasant Stay at a Brand-New Hanting Hotel in Beijing. I recently stayed at this Hanting Hotel in Beijing during a winter trip in December 2025, and it turned out to be a great budget-friendly choice. As a brand-new property (opened right around this time), everything felt fresh and modern, which made the experience stand out compared to older chain hotels. The staff are friendly and pro-active to help considering my limited chinese. I give them 5 out 5 stars because thats is the same service level i get when i am in 5 star hotel. Location: The hotel is conveniently situated just outside a residential complex, literally a one-minute walk to the main street. It’s quiet yet accessible perfect for avoiding the hustle of central Beijing while still being close to amenities, shops, and transport options. No complaints here; it struck a nice balance between peace and convenience. Facilities and Design: The lobby is cozy and appropriately sized—not too grand, but welcoming. What surprised me pleasantly was how large the hotel actually is once you explore it. The overall design theme is warm and relaxing, with soothing tones and modern touches that create a calming atmosphere throughout. Room Experience: For the price point, the room was impressively spacious. It was sparkling clean (as expected from a new hotel), with a large, comfy bed topped with four plush pillow, perfect for a good night’s rest. There’s a big TV, and the bathroom is a decent size with a spacious shower and toilet. Winter in Beijing can be brutal, but the heater worked wonderfully, keeping the room toasty and comfortable. The real highlight was the smart features: voice commands control everything, lights, curtains, TV, and other appliances. It felt futuristic and super convenient! The One Drawback: The only downside I encountered was a lingering smoke smell in the corridor near the elevators on the second night. Apparently, a guest had smoked while walking to his room, and while the staff responded quickly by spraying air freshener, the ventilation system didn’t fully clear it out. I understand that smoking tolerance can be more lenient in some places in China (even in restaurants), but for a brand-new hotel in the capital, I hoped they’d enforce stricter no-smoking policies to set a better standard. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it was noticeable. Final Thoughts Overall, this Hanting Hotel exceeded my expectations for a budget chain, clean, modern, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful features like voice control and solid service from all the staffs. It’s a solid option for travelers wanting value without sacrificing quality. I’d stay again and recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something new and relaxing in Beijing. Just hope they tighten up on the smoking rules moving forward!

What more could I want for £15 per night. I had a slightly ”smaller” room compared to others seen but it was as described matching the booking description. My stay was overall, pleasant and nothing too major that could be improved except small changes that don't take away from the value for money you get. Pictures you see beforehand are accurate representation of the hotel. Seating area in lobby was a nice touch, allowed guest to wait comfortably for Didi's or other reasons. Staff very friendly and language app makes it easy to communicate, they do their best. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I will tell you why I believe it is great value for money. I would check the prices as when I booked the room prices for the different types wasn't too different, so I could have grabbed myself a bigger room for the same price. Although I didn't personally have breakfast, the space was well designed and they had good enough variety that I would have been tempted to add it on. The shower temperature and water pressure was decent, the smart mirror in the bathroom was a nice touch. You get two pillows and a duvet, which are a decent quality. Bed was perfect for me. The photos attached show the room, the space was good for me and had everything I personally needed. Location: Convenient enough, close to several food places including McDonalds. Buses close by, airport close too, very convenient if you're only staying a few days. Cleanliness: Standard ware and tear, Clean and hygienic, no dust and no bad odors. Was a clean environment making it enjoyable to stay. Housekeeping: They come everyday replenishing items in the room, no need to worry about dehydration or running low on toilet paper etc. as they have you covered. They will always knock before entering. Service: Warm welcome from staff, polite and attentive, provided good service and clear instructions. Check-in easy and smooth. Assisted me during my stay with the smart thermostat in my room as the temperature was making me feel unwell, gave me helpful tips on how to make the room cooler and when my key card had issues they fixed this straight away explaining what the issue was (Don't keep too close to phone or other devices which will demagnetize it). Facilities:The hotel has comprehensive and smart facilities, including intelligent controls in rooms which makes the stay convenient. If you order food it gets delivered straight to your door via robot. Shampoo and body gel in shower have a nice fragrance which was lovely. Towel size was good, I am a larger in size than average and it wrapped around me. However I had small small issues with my shower head spraying/leaking this was a minor thing and my door sign flickering/not working not showing/lighting up the 'do not disturb' or 'make up room' signs. I didn't have time to tell staff this otherwise I feel like it would have been sorted straight away. Due to not staying in the room a lot this also wasn't a problem for me. Airport Transfer: They provide airport pick-up and drop-off services via Wechat during certain times, you will have to add them prior to reservation, which was convenient for me. I arranged drop-off and although I didn't use the service in the end there was perfect communication throughout.

The service from the staff was absolutely excellent. To find the entrance of the hotel, you have to go alongside the left of the tower and use the lift as in the picture to go to level 5. The breakfast was a delicious buffet. The room with no external window was very quiet, clean, and functional, the mattresses large and firm but comfortable, we slept well. However, it was still a bit hot in November with no air-conditioning, so we had to leave the door open, as the corridor was cooler, but it was a bit strange for us. So, I would objectively rate the room 9/10 and the service 11/10, so 10/10 in total ;)

Very convenient to stay, we are satisfied to spent our layover In Beijing. All the facilities in room, front desk service, hotel area, everything was excellent. The best thing was a massage chair in my room! Definitely come if have a chance to visit Beijing again. Highly recommended for tourists 10/10 👍

這家酒店入住進門確實挺不錯的，位置的話挺好找的，就在馬路旁邊旁邊還有紫光園店對面就是一個新城市廣場出行這些對出遊的我們來説就挺方便的，因為我是來北京來玩的，所以説出行這一塊的話挺方便的，我都是可以打車去他們旁邊50米就有個公交車站。出行來説挺方便的，還有地鐵旁邊還有地鐵。 設施：設施設備是一種簡單化的那種，但是它的價格比較實惠，我覺得這個價格還是挺划算的，挺實惠的。 衞生：衞生這一塊做的很乾凈的，因為我住了好多家酒店，覺得他家的衞生確實挺不錯的，床單雪白乾凈整潔。環境也相當不錯。 環境：好 服務：酒店的服務挺好的，進去酒店還有人特別的熱情前台東西有點多，還幫我很貼心的拿了一下行李服務來説，在北京的話還是挺熱情的，比較有性價比的一家酒店，感覺有一種家的感覺，前台服務都挺好的，都比較温馨。推薦可以入住這家酒店，我下次還會再來。他們添加他們酒店的客服還非常的貼心，有什麼事都會第一時間迴應。推薦

The room was clean, no odd smells and soundproofing was okay too. The receptionist is really nice. The room I first got had really loud noise from the air-conditioning but they moved me to another room which don't have that issue. Well, the room is really small but that was expected before I booked the hotel, I'm satisfied with the room. The only thing is the location, great location which is close to subway station but far from attractions. I guess that is the reason that this hotel is cheaper than those that are closer to attractions.

Near to High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University. For me, it was a convenient yet pleasant stay !

不得不誇一下這家酒店的服務，每一位員工都熱情周到，讓人如沐春風。房間佈置温馨，設施齊全，尤其是衞生間的細節處理非常到位。早餐種類繁多，美味可口。下次還會選擇這裏。

This hotel is the cheapest private room you can get. It wasn’t the newest, which I didn’t really mind. However, it wasn’t clean, which is the one dealbreaker I have for hotels. They did provide an upgrade from my initial room, but it still wasn’t up to par in terms of cleanliness. The shower drain also didn’t drain fast enough, so there was a super large puddle that accumulated. If these aren’t deal breakers, it is a convenient location to the forbidden city and dongsi station.

Location was absolutely perfect and staff helped with everything we needed. Bathroom door situation is a bit awkward as you can only close the door to the shower or the toilet at once but otherwise no complaints
