"The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful. But the downside was certainly the breakfast. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 and we arrived at 08:15 with almost no food left in the serving trays and the little that was left, was cold. When we asked the chef is more coming then he said no. This is the portion he makes. Our second day we didn’t even bother to go for breakfast. Also in our bathroom we found toothpaste lids from previous guests on the floor which was a little concerning. The rest was nice, especially the fruits, juice and ice cream!"

Kompastuin ja putosin portaille, kun tulin seuraavana päivänä myymälän omistajalle, ja sain tyhmän vastauksen vastaavat tilanteet ratkaistaan myöhemmin. Mutta en vaihtanut hotellia, koska minulla oli kiire. Varasin hotellin etukäteen toiseksi yöksi ja maksoin parikymmentä taalaa enemmän, ennen kuin näin sen. Itse asiassa se on sama kuin tavallinen asettelu, mutta tila on hieman suurempi. "Great check-in experience. Friendly and professional front desk staff with an English-speaking employee. We were able to an early check in, which is appreciated. Room is big. Bed is comfy. Great experience with the private hotspring pool (it was big for 3 of us, and we loved it). Location is not near Metro station, however, Taxi and Didi are easy to find and inexpensive. There is a super market within 10 minutes walk and this market is a good size with 3 food to go stations. We would come back to this hotel again in a near future."

"Hotel Yitel was a perfect choice for my trip. I was looking for a quiet place away from the city noise, and this hotel delivered exactly that.
The Good:
· Location & Value: The location is nice and quiet. While it's not within walking distance to the LRT, the fare to LRT Line 1 is very cheap, and from there you can easily link to all the major attractions. It's a great trade-off for the peace and the price.
· Friendly Staff: The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
· Superb Sleep: The bed was extremely comfortable, and the quiet environment meant I slept very well every night.
· Great Amenities: Free laundry is a fantastic, money-saving perk for travelers. The breakfast was also tasty with good variety.
· Price: For everything offered, the price is very good and represents excellent value.
Overall:
If you prefer a quieter stay away from the downtown buzz and don't mind a short,cheap ride to the train, Hotel Yitel is a highly recommended choice. You get great comfort, friendly service, useful free amenities, and all at a very good price. I would happily stay here again."

"The location was easy to find. It was quieter since it is situated a little away from the activities at the base. However it is at the entrance of the Great Wall tram gate, so very convenient for an early start, or an evening tour of the Wall. My stay was midweek over Christmas and the whole town was relatively quiet. This meant the Hot Springs were also quiet which was spectacular! The rooms were a little chilly at night, but a soak in the springs and a little peach blossom wine solved it. I highly recommend this Inn. They were happy to use their translation apps to answer any questions."

"t’s a nice hotel, clean and the room is comfortable. It’s a bit far from the subway, though. The hot spring pools aren’t included in the stay and require an extra fee. They’re also quite small and usually very crowded. Breakfast is limited to only Chinese dishes, most of which are quite spicy, with no other options available. No fruit was provided either, which was disappointing."

最近發現一家離北京 開車大概1h的温泉民宿，整體是那種 很安靜的宋韻風格小院，完全不是那種人很多的温泉酒店，更像是 躲進一個小院子裏過兩天慢生活。
我最喜歡的是他們的私湯小院。
泡池就在院子裏，一邊泡湯一邊看院子裏的樹，真的很舒服。

I am a very experienced traveler and have been to dozens of countries, but I can confidently say that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Every area here is thought out: a high-tech room of impeccable cleanliness with a pillow menu to choose from and 6 lighting options. Excellent dietary cuisine in the restaurant and a huge selection of dishes for breakfast. Very polite and customer-oriented attentive staff, they helped me with absolutely all my requests! But, of course, the highlight of the hotel is the impressive healing Ayurvedic center! The Head of the center, Dr. Balan is an experienced Ayurveda guru, with a tailored comprehensive program and the center's team, helped me restore my nervous system, restore immunity, and diagnose a chronic ailment that affected my quality of life, and all this just in 6 days! I mostly recommend this hotel to tired, overloaded residents of megacities, here you will simply find yourself in paradise! I will definitely come back more than once, huge thanks to the management and staff of the Grand Bay Beijing Hotel, who created this island of peace and relaxation on earth

LLisa 丽莎We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel is gorgeous—really beautiful inside and out. The service was top-notch, with everyone being so friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious, with tons of high-quality options. The best part though was definitely the hot springs that came with the hotel; they were incredible and so relaxing. We had such a fantastic time and would come back in a heartbeat.

MMeiyincidufu非常非常推薦！！！我們一行四人早上去爬了東靈山，風景太美不想回北京，臨時起意想看看附近有沒有温泉酒店可以泡泡澡呆一呆，就找到了這家。風景真的太美太美啦！！！整個村子紅色建設非常好，風氣超正，即便是村裡的小博物展覽館3D視頻做得蠻好的，很有氛圍，而且早上開窗直麪大紅星！！重點來了，温泉真的太舒服啦，在充滿雲霧的山野裏，吃完燒烤，聽着雨聲泡個温泉………….朋友們，真就是舒服得無法形容了！！
老闆和管家叔叔都非常好，給我們免費提供了早餐，吃完早飯就趕緊網上買了兩罐同款豆腐乳，太好吃啦哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
總之，滿分推薦，一定還會再去！！！

This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined.
If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension.
You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul.
On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe had an amazing staycation at this hotspring resort. I was very impressed with the customer service we recieved. Everyone was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help. The staff has clearly had 5 star training.
I would like to make particular note of Mr. Lee at the front desk. Upon check-in, he served us and acknowledged that not all the staff spoke English and that we should contact him directly over Wechat if we needed anything. On several occassions I contacted him and he was prompt and curtious. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. For example, room service forgot chicken on on salad, and he promptly pologized and arranged for two new compelmentary salads to be sent (i believe this was an oversight as the hotel was very busy with a special chiristmas dinner that night).
It is common in Beijing for hotel staff not to speak English, however we did found several memebers of staff that did. For example. when we went to the dining hall, they sent an English speaker over to help us. Further, the dining hall manager checked in with us and personally cleared plates away. Buffet breakfast was above average with western and chinese food. Also, when ordering room service, though they did not speak English, they sent someone to our room with a menu so that we could point to the items we wanted.
Overall, the hotel is new and to Western standards of cleanliness and quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were with my 2 month old baby and my 85 year old father, all generations enjoyed our time. The hot springs were very clean (not always the case in China) and they were alongside swimming pools with kids climbing apparatice and water ball pit. It was also nice that there were complementary refreshments (snacks and drinks) at the hot springs. In the winter air, the outdoor hotsprings were great.
Finally., though it wasnt a huge attraction, its nice to see the lammas, chicken and horses.
Overall, I could not recommend this place more. I will defintely stay again.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel. The property is huge, with so many play areas for kids—which we loved the most.
Our room wasn’t very big, but it had everything a small family needs, and most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came every day to clean the bathroom and refill drinks, snacks, and other amenities free of charge. We were truly impressed by how generous this hotel is.
Above all, what stood out the most was the outstanding hospitality. A staff member named 李世龙 took care of us throughout our 7-day stay. He went above and beyond in every possible way—bringing us snacks from time to time, baby-proofing our bed (something we hadn’t even thought about), and helping us call taxis. On one occasion, when our credit card didn’t work, he even paid digitally on our behalf. His thoughtfulness and kindness made a huge difference to our stay.
As guests from Europe, the only small downside for us was that the hotel is very large, and it took some time to get familiar with the layout and understand how things work, especially regarding the dining areas. However, 李世龙 and the rest of the staff were always incredibly kind and patient, guiding us whenever we needed help.
Even though it was the cold season in Beijing, our stay at this hotel gave us so many beautiful memories and truly warmed our hearts.
Thank you so much for everything—we sincerely look forward to staying here again someday.

This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall.
You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax.
The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying.
Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us.
The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc.
My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious.
We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea.
There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip.
The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side.
To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up.
The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative!
In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our recent stay with our baby and 7-year-old—this is hands down the most kid-friendly hotel we've ever experienced! The highlights for families are truly outstanding: an amazing indoor playhouse that's perfect for keeping children entertained (though the flooring could use a refresh for even better safety and comfort), and incredible hot springs that the whole family enjoyed relaxing in.
The location is a big plus, situated close to an amusement park and shopping center, making it easy to pop out for meals, shopping, or extra fun without relying solely on the hotel dining. The on-site food was delicious, and our spacious room felt practical and luxurious, complete with a bathtub offering nice views.
One fun touch was the roaming delivery robot: it added a modern, playful vibe that the kids loved watching.
That said, a few areas could be improved for an even smoother experience. Check-in was unexpectedly crowded, taking around 40 minutes (the longest we've ever waited), so families might want to arrive outside peak times if possible. The in-room bathroom has frosted glass that's a bit too transparent for privacy when sharing with spouse or kids—more opaque partitioning would help. Since the hotel knew we were traveling with a baby and young child, it would have been thoughtful to have a crib ready or bed linens prepared for the sofa bed (we managed fine without, but it would elevate the family-friendly aspect). Additionally, it would be great if the robots could handle deliveries from external orders, even for a small fee.
Overall, this hotel offered excellent value for money and delivered a memorable, enjoyable getaway for our family. We'd highly recommend it to other parents looking for a relaxing yet engaging spot—we'd happily return!
