The courtyard has both Thai charm and Chinese simplicity. Living in a century-old alley, staying in the "Orchid" courtyard, watching flowers and listening to the rain, is comfortable and leisurely.
"Tässä hotellissa on japanilainen sisäpiha, ja siellä on ollut kaksi yötä. Ensimmäinen yö oli tavallinen huone. Kompastuin ja putosin portaille, kun tulin seuraavana päivänä myymälän omistajalle, ja sain tyhmän vastauksen vastaavat tilanteet ratkaistaan myöhemmin. Mutta en vaihtanut hotellia, koska minulla oli kiire. Varasin hotellin etukäteen toiseksi yöksi ja maksoin parikymmentä taalaa enemmän, ennen kuin näin sen. Itse asiassa se on sama kuin tavallinen asettelu, mutta tila on hieman suurempi. Lisäksi tässä hotellissa ei ole televisiota, ja se on ensimmäinen kerta, kun näen, että palvelu ei ole 24 tuntia vuorokaudessa, myös heidän työntekijänsä menevät nukkumaan kello 1:n jälkeen. "The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful. But the downside was certainly the breakfast. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 and we arrived at 08:15 with almost no food left in the serving trays and the little that was left, was cold. When we asked the chef is more coming then he said no. This is the portion he makes. Our second day we didn’t even bother to go for breakfast. Also in our bathroom we found toothpaste lids from previous guests on the floor which was a little concerning. The rest was nice, especially the fruits, juice and ice cream!"

"The location was easy to find. It was quieter since it is situated a little away from the activities at the base. However it is at the entrance of the Great Wall tram gate, so very convenient for an early start, or an evening tour of the Wall. My stay was midweek over Christmas and the whole town was relatively quiet. This meant the Hot Springs were also quiet which was spectacular! The rooms were a little chilly at night, but a soak in the springs and a little peach blossom wine solved it. I highly recommend this Inn. They were happy to use their translation apps to answer any questions."

Great experience with the private hotspring pool (it was big for 3 of us, and we loved it). Location is not near Metro station, however, Taxi and Didi are easy to find and inexpensive. There is a super market within 10 minutes walk and this market is a good size with 3 food to go stations. We would come back to this hotel again in a near future."

天氣剛暖一點又降温，倒春寒的時候最適合找個地方泡私湯、曬太陽、慢慢待一天。
最近發現一家離北京 開車大概1h的温泉民宿，整體是那種 很安靜的宋韻風格小院，完全不是那種人很多的温泉酒店，更像是 躲進一個小院子裏過兩天慢生活。
我最喜歡的是他們的私湯小院。
泡池就在院子裏，一邊泡湯一邊看院子裏的樹，真的很舒服。
下午的時候民宿還會安排一些小體驗：

"I really love staying at Longkun Yayuan Hotel, the place is very nice.. even though it's not in the city center but it's close to public transportation, only 15mins walking to the Metro and bus stop is 2mins from the hotel front door..
the lowest type of the room is super big already, 25m2 and it's very cheap.. it'd be hardly to find the room with the same price like this..
hotel room is quite clean, bed sheet is clean, bed is big and comfort..
even thought i found some dust at the corner of the room but overall is clean..
the hotel service is superb!! they are very helpful and very fast response.. even though I can't speak Chinese and their English is limited but they are very willingly to help ☺
btw the hotel is near the river where you can walk and see beautiful trees blooming"

No fruit was provided either, which was disappointing."

AAnonyymi käyttäjä怎麼説呢…住過不少相對不錯的民宿，這家給我的感覺就是，老闆對於服務不是很在意，主要是主打隨和吧，我感覺…我確實好久沒遇見過房間冰箱裏麪飲品需要額外收費的民宿和酒店了，額外要兩瓶小水給我的回答是“大水也是免費的”我不理解這句話的意思……我當然知道大瓶是免費的，我想喝涼水還要舉着桶喝嗎？當然後面還是拿來了，就2瓶……早餐也是一言難盡吧，在這價位的民宿我是第一次碰見，整體感覺就是扣扣搜搜……
民宿外面有一個將近直角的彎兒，我們的車很長，沒有人送我們，也沒有幫我們指揮…就先這樣吧

And the breakfast was delicious, with tons of high-quality options. The best part though was definitely the hot springs that came with the hotel; they were incredible and so relaxing. We had such a fantastic time and would come back in a heartbeat.

MMeiyincidufu非常非常推薦！！！我們一行四人早上去爬了東靈山，風景太美不想回北京，臨時起意想看看附近有沒有温泉酒店可以泡泡澡呆一呆，就找到了這家。風景真的太美太美啦！！！整個村子紅色建設非常好，風氣超正，即便是村裡的小博物展覽館3D視頻做得蠻好的，很有氛圍，而且早上開窗直麪大紅星！！重點來了，温泉真的太舒服啦，在充滿雲霧的山野裏，吃完燒烤，聽着雨聲泡個温泉………….朋友們，真就是舒服得無法形容了！！
老闆和管家叔叔都非常好，給我們免費提供了早餐，吃完早飯就趕緊網上買了兩罐同款豆腐乳，太好吃啦哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
總之，滿分推薦，一定還會再去！！！

我們四個人出行，晚上十點多才到，還不小心訂錯了房型😭。本來以為要手忙腳亂，結果民宿管家超熱心！🥰 不僅耐心幫我們協調換房，還貼心交代了好多注意事項，真的超暖心！
整個房間空間超大，四個人住完全綽綽有餘！而且佈置得超級精緻，每一處細節都戳中哈迷的心巴，氛圍感直接拉滿！
還沒去環球影城，就已經提前沉浸式體驗魔法校園生活啦！🏰 和民宿名字也太契合了吧！

VVieraskäyttäjäWe had an amazing staycation at this hotspring resort. I was very impressed with the customer service we recieved. Everyone was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help. The staff has clearly had 5 star training.
I would like to make particular note of Mr. Lee at the front desk. Upon check-in, he served us and acknowledged that not all the staff spoke English and that we should contact him directly over Wechat if we needed anything. On several occassions I contacted him and he was prompt and curtious. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. For example, room service forgot chicken on on salad, and he promptly pologized and arranged for two new compelmentary salads to be sent (i believe this was an oversight as the hotel was very busy with a special chiristmas dinner that night).
It is common in Beijing for hotel staff not to speak English, however we did found several memebers of staff that did. For example. when we went to the dining hall, they sent an English speaker over to help us. Further, the dining hall manager checked in with us and personally cleared plates away. Buffet breakfast was above average with western and chinese food. Also, when ordering room service, though they did not speak English, they sent someone to our room with a menu so that we could point to the items we wanted.
Overall, the hotel is new and to Western standards of cleanliness and quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were with my 2 month old baby and my 85 year old father, all generations enjoyed our time. The hot springs were very clean (not always the case in China) and they were alongside swimming pools with kids climbing apparatice and water ball pit. It was also nice that there were complementary refreshments (snacks and drinks) at the hot springs. In the winter air, the outdoor hotsprings were great.
Finally., though it wasnt a huge attraction, its nice to see the lammas, chicken and horses.
Overall, I could not recommend this place more. I will defintely stay again.

Our room wasn’t very big, but it had everything a small family needs, and most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came every day to clean the bathroom and refill drinks, snacks, and other amenities free of charge. We were truly impressed by how generous this hotel is.
Above all, what stood out the most was the outstanding hospitality. A staff member named 李世龙 took care of us throughout our 7-day stay. He went above and beyond in every possible way—bringing us snacks from time to time, baby-proofing our bed (something we hadn’t even thought about), and helping us call taxis. On one occasion, when our credit card didn’t work, he even paid digitally on our behalf. His thoughtfulness and kindness made a huge difference to our stay.
As guests from Europe, the only small downside for us was that the hotel is very large, and it took some time to get familiar with the layout and understand how things work, especially regarding the dining areas. However, 李世龙 and the rest of the staff were always incredibly kind and patient, guiding us whenever we needed help.
Even though it was the cold season in Beijing, our stay at this hotel gave us so many beautiful memories and truly warmed our hearts.
Thank you so much for everything—we sincerely look forward to staying here again someday.

This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

MMaverick MakStayed 2 nights at the Commune by the Great Wall, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall.
You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax.
The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying.
Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us.
The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc.
My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious.
We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea.
There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip.
The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side.
To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up.
The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative!
In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.

BBarak GranotWonderful Family Stay at a Kid-Friendly Hot Spring Hotel
We had an absolutely fantastic time during our recent stay with our baby and 7-year-old—this is hands down the most kid-friendly hotel we've ever experienced! The highlights for families are truly outstanding: an amazing indoor playhouse that's perfect for keeping children entertained (though the flooring could use a refresh for even better safety and comfort), and incredible hot springs that the whole family enjoyed relaxing in.
The location is a big plus, situated close to an amusement park and shopping center, making it easy to pop out for meals, shopping, or extra fun without relying solely on the hotel dining. The on-site food was delicious, and our spacious room felt practical and luxurious, complete with a bathtub offering nice views.
One fun touch was the roaming delivery robot: it added a modern, playful vibe that the kids loved watching.
That said, a few areas could be improved for an even smoother experience. Check-in was unexpectedly crowded, taking around 40 minutes (the longest we've ever waited), so families might want to arrive outside peak times if possible. The in-room bathroom has frosted glass that's a bit too transparent for privacy when sharing with spouse or kids—more opaque partitioning would help. Since the hotel knew we were traveling with a baby and young child, it would have been thoughtful to have a crib ready or bed linens prepared for the sofa bed (we managed fine without, but it would elevate the family-friendly aspect).
