"We checked in on Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by a helpful receptionist who assisted with luggage storage. Hotel room is clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The hotel location is great, between Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. However, scaffolding was set up around the building due to repair works. Despite this, the staff handled things well—helping us change rooms, fixing minor issues, and even returning items we left behind. A staff member named Baozi stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness, especially when assisting us with Didi transport for our group and luggage. Breakfast was average but convenient, starting at 6:30 a.m., though we missed it one day due to an early trip to the Badaling Great Wall."

"Excellent check in and out services especially to Staff Rita Zhang! She even got us a Beijing Fridge Magnet as souvenir..so thoughtful. As for the stay, room size is decently good for both of us (a bonus if the contents in the fridge is complimentary). The bed are comfy and water pressure and temp is good. For location wise, not the closet to Wang Fu Jing but its just a short walk away. Along the way theres lawson , family mart and some local chinese food stalls. There's also nearby bronze hotpot restaurant and i highly recommend the one named 京贝簕. You can easily 'didi' to Forbidden city or Temple of Heaven within 20RMB range. So easy to nagivate and visit. For breakfast, pay only $108RMB for adult. Good spread of food!"

"Beautiful hotel. It was al long distance to shopping, and restaurants. The gym is less desirable but the make up for that in art. There is also a rooftop with area that isincyded and a large outdoor space. My brother said he would definitely stay again and wants to return in the Spring when the garden is blooming. He enjoyed to atmosphere and onsite restaurant."

"The positives: Location, Location, Location! It is a 10 minute walk away from the forbidden city, and it is close to the temple of heaven. The room service did a nice job as well cleaning the room daily. The negatives: 1- the access to the hotel is through stairs, if you have luggage, you won’t have someone to help you with the bags before you check in. 2- the pictures make seems nicer than it actually is. 3- the lobby is not clean, neither is the floor where we were booked. 4- the rooms too close to each other, the room walls are not well isolated, you will keep hearing noises throughout the night of people walking and speaking loudly beside the rooms. 5- the bathroom has a strong odour coming from it. Not due to room service hygiene though. 6- the toilet seat had wear marks/dark marks on it. 7- pay attention to the fine print while you are booking, despite that all options say double bed, we were asked to pay extra for a queen size bed. Which is fine , however that extra cost puts the hotel rate in the same range of higher tier brand hotels. 8- the room is small, and there are no hangars for the towels."

"Great check-in experience. Friendly and professional front desk staff with an English-speaking employee. We were able to an early check in, which is appreciated. Room is big. Bed is comfy. Great experience with the private hotspring pool (it was big for 3 of us, and we loved it). Location is not near Metro station, however, Taxi and Didi are easy to find and inexpensive. There is a super market within 10 minutes walk and this market is a good size with 3 food to go stations. We would come back to this hotel again in a near future."
