怎麼説呢…住過不少相對不錯的民宿，這家給我的感覺就是，老闆對於服務不是很在意，主要是主打隨和吧，我感覺…我確實好久沒遇見過房間冰箱裏麪飲品需要額外收費的民宿和酒店了，額外要兩瓶小水給我的回答是“大水也是免費的”我不理解這句話的意思……我當然知道大瓶是免費的，我想喝涼水還要舉着桶喝嗎？當然後面還是拿來了，就2瓶……早餐也是一言難盡吧，在這價位的民宿我是第一次碰見，整體感覺就是扣扣搜搜…… 民宿外面有一個將近直角的彎兒，我們的車很長，沒有人送我們，也沒有幫我們指揮…就先這樣吧

1. 位置服務型：位置超方便，近地鐵/景區。房間乾淨，床品舒服。前台熱情，有求必應，住得很舒心，強烈推薦！ 2. 衞生舒適型：衞生是亮點，角落都乾乾淨淨。床鋪柔軟，隔音也好，睡了個好覺。服務親切，性價比很高！ 3. 全面推薦型：從入住到退房都很順暢。房間設施新，WiFi快，早餐豐富。 staff專業又貼心，物超所值！

非常非常推薦！！！我們一行四人早上去爬了東靈山，風景太美不想回北京，臨時起意想看看附近有沒有温泉酒店可以泡泡澡呆一呆，就找到了這家。風景真的太美太美啦！！！整個村子紅色建設非常好，風氣超正，即便是村裡的小博物展覽館3D視頻做得蠻好的，很有氛圍，而且早上開窗直麪大紅星！！重點來了，温泉真的太舒服啦，在充滿雲霧的山野裏，吃完燒烤，聽着雨聲泡個温泉………….朋友們，真就是舒服得無法形容了！！ 老闆和管家叔叔都非常好，給我們免費提供了早餐，吃完早飯就趕緊網上買了兩罐同款豆腐乳，太好吃啦哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈 總之，滿分推薦，一定還會再去！！！

Stayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024, planned for 1 night to visit around the town itself and another night for the Simatai Great Wall. 1. Location - Inn is located within Gubei Watertown and it is necessary to go through the watertown to visit the Simatai Great Wall. By booking an accommodation within the town gives you discounted entrance price into the town and since we planned to visit the great wall and explore the town itself we have decided to stay for 2 nights (also partly the cost and time to travel there from Beijing). Inn is located near the main square where some performances are held and near a shuttle service stop (free shuttle services within town if you’re staying in an accommodation within town. Overall a good location within town. 2. Room - Booked a family room for 4 (2 single beds in each level). Room is mostly made of wood hence its not really a modern feel and its not really sound-proof which the staff has notified in advance. Room is spacious and bathroom is big. Stairs that goes up to the 2nd level is stable but can be a little steep for seniors. Overall the room is decent. It comes with tomatoes, peanuts and tea as welcome gift. 3. Luggage - There’s a luggage service whereby you can arrange for your luggage to be transported to your hotel from entrance, and from hotel back to entrance. This is definitely needed as the ground in the watertown is not a smooth surface and can be hard to carry your luggages around. 4. Services & breakfast - Staff’s services is really good and efficient! Breakfast is simple but has good variety. There’s the buffet portion which consists of small dishes for porridge, bread, bun, drinks etc. And there’s an alacarte portion where you need to order in advance the night before such as bacon, egg, sausages, noodles etc. i think its a good initiative to avoid wastage. Overall a very good stay and would recommend if you are visiting Gubei Watertown and would like to stay in a more traditional feel.

Minulla oli viime aikoina ilo jäädä Zhaohua Homestay, ja en voi suositella sitä tarpeeksi. Alusta alkaen, henkilöstö oli uskomattoman ystävällinen, ammattilainen, ja apua. Lämpötila oli täydellisesti asetettu, luomalla lämmin ja kutsuva ilmapiiri, ja huone haisi puhtaa ja tuore, joka oli kaunis kosketus. Yksi meidän oleskeluun kohdistuvista korostaa lämmin kevät vesi, joka oli täsmälleen mitä tarvitsimme odottamattoman lumisää. Illalla he tarjosivat meille lämmintä maitoa tai keittoa, jotta voimme rentoutua, ja aamulla tuotiin herkullinen länsimainen aamiainen tuoreen appelsiinimehun kanssa suoraan oveen. Se oli niin ajatteleva ja erityistä kosketus. Lisää bonus oli hämmästyttävä näkymä talon, jossa voisimme nähdä Great Wall! Kotitalo on kävelymatkan päässä vähemmän paksulla alueella Great Wall, jossa maksoimme vain 35 RMB henkilökohtaisesti kokea sen. Se oli kaunis ja rauhallinen, tarjoamalla täydellinen tilaisuus todella ihailla historiallinen sivusto ilman tavallisia joukkoja. Sijainti itsessään on täydellinen rauhallinen paeta kaupungin elämän hämärä ja tuska. Ilma on tuore, ja yöllä tähtien näkyvissä, lisätä rauhan alueella. Se on uskomattoman hiljainen, tekee siitä ihanteellisen paikka rentoutua ja ladata. Yleensä minulla oli hämmästyttävä kokemus Zhaohua Homestay, ja olisin varmasti vierailla uudelleen. Jos etsit rauhallista tietä poikkeuksellisen palvelun, hengittävä näkymät, ja kaunis asento, tämä paikka on absoluuttinen kivi.

- The location is excellent. It is just round the corner from Gubei Water Town. A two minute walk to the entrance hall. - The service was good. The staff added us on WeChat and were very quick to respond to messages and queries. One stand out moment for us was when our food was 2 hours late from a local restaurant. I was struggling to communicate with the restaurant because my Chinese is not very good. Staff reached out on our behalf and sorted the issue for us. - Cleanliness was OK. The sheets on the bed felt lovely and clean, but the apartment was not spotless. The shower had some black mould, and the floor in the kitchen felt sticky. - The apartment itself had some pros. My son absolutely loved all the toys and the slides. It made his experience very enjoyable. - Plenty of towels, toiletries provided. However - The shower leaked constantly. Every time we used the shower the bathroom would become flooded - which was a slipping hazard for my son. - The curtains are very thin. Every morning we were woken up to a bright light streaming through the windows. This meant that my son’s sleep was not great. We did contact the staff about this. They used sellotape to stick up some bedsheets on the windows, but this fell down within minutes! We appreciate the efforts though. - We would have felt better if there was a stair gate. As this is an apartment aimed at families, a stair gate would be good for safety. - Limited cutlery is provided. We were given some disposable chopsticks. However very few cooking utensils / no children’s cutlery. Bring your own if you want to cook. :) - There was only once choice of breakfast - which was not to our personal taste. Would be good if 2 or three options were provided. There is a lovely bakery around the corner and we enjoyed buying our breakfast from there for the remainder of the trip.

Stayed 2 nights at the Commune by the Great Wall, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall. You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax. The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying. Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us. The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc. My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious. We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea. There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip. The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side. To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up. The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative! In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.

Wonderful Family Stay at a Kid-Friendly Hot Spring Hotel We had an absolutely fantastic time during our recent stay with our baby and 7-year-old—this is hands down the most kid-friendly hotel we've ever experienced! The highlights for families are truly outstanding: an amazing indoor playhouse that's perfect for keeping children entertained (though the flooring could use a refresh for even better safety and comfort), and incredible hot springs that the whole family enjoyed relaxing in. The location is a big plus, situated close to an amusement park and shopping center, making it easy to pop out for meals, shopping, or extra fun without relying solely on the hotel dining. The on-site food was delicious, and our spacious room felt practical and luxurious, complete with a bathtub offering nice views. One fun touch was the roaming delivery robot: it added a modern, playful vibe that the kids loved watching. That said, a few areas could be improved for an even smoother experience. Check-in was unexpectedly crowded, taking around 40 minutes (the longest we've ever waited), so families might want to arrive outside peak times if possible. The in-room bathroom has frosted glass that's a bit too transparent for privacy when sharing with spouse or kids—more opaque partitioning would help. Since the hotel knew we were traveling with a baby and young child, it would have been thoughtful to have a crib ready or bed linens prepared for the sofa bed (we managed fine without, but it would elevate the family-friendly aspect). Additionally, it would be great if the robots could handle deliveries from external orders, even for a small fee. Overall, this hotel offered excellent value for money and delivered a memorable, enjoyable getaway for our family. We'd highly recommend it to other parents looking for a relaxing yet engaging spot—we'd happily return!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Floral Hotel is truly an exceptional place to stay. Its location right beside the Great Wall gives it a breathtaking, unforgettable view that makes every moment feel special. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. What really stands out is the team working there, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. A wonderful experience all around, and absolutely worth recommending.

Longhu building is near to the scenic site entrance and about 5mins walk. You can access via the restaurant as a short cut and having breakfast there. The rooms is clean and the bed is large and able to cater for 2pax. One toilet located on top of the level and washing machine available. Any issue you can WeChat the incharge and he responses well. You can order food via their service menus. At night around 8pm can watch drone show from the room. Overall moderate to good accommodation.
