"Best location for tourist attractions, you only need to take a few metro stops to reach major sights. Do not buy the buffet breakfast because the quality of the food is below 5 star hotel. Front desk receptionist very nice but they are not able to assist in attractions directions. Recommend"

"The staff at the hotel were more than helpful and super friendly. The hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms had lovely decor, super comfy bed, and great heating as it was cold and snowy during our trip, a lovely bathroom with a hot shower! We would definitely recommend the afternoon tea in the Chestnut Village for something a little different (shown in the picture) A great area if you wish to visit The Great Wall via Cable Cart, not a far walk to the village where you can take a shuttle bus or a not too challenging walk to the entrance and ticket office."

"I think we can all agree that the sole purpose of staying at this hotel is to gain immediate access to the Wall as soon as it opens in the morning. I guarantee you that this is the best way to experience the Wall without the crowds and you will have a greater chance to be able to capture shots of the Wall without anyone in your pictures. Your ticket for the Wall is included in the booking. The Hotel really is just a one nighter. I would not stay here longer as it provides the bare bones of a hotel. I would rate it three diamonds at most, not four. The room is spacious and warm, that's definitely a positive in winter. However, you do have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs when arriving and departing so beware if you have a dodgy back! There is an elevator but it only takes you from the parking lot to the lobby and not the rooms. One huge surprise for us was how delicious the dinner was at the hotel's restaurant. We were the only guests and they cooked everything from scratch for us. The breakfast (also served by the restaurant) was included in the booking and it was not quite to our taste but the staff had a cheerful disposition and were so kind and welcoming that we probably had a few more mouthfuls just to show our appreciation even if the food was not to our Western palate. Our trip was during the off peak season and the Wall opened at 8am. However, the breakfast started at 8am as well. I would recommend the breakfast be open 30 minutes before the Wall opened, otherwise guests will rush their breakfast, leading to some wasted food. The hotel advertises a transfer service from the airport but after making the booking we contacted the hotel on the Trip app and were told they do not offer this service so we had to arrange a Didi which was quite expensive, so please keep this in mind when making your booking."

"Highly Recommended Stay Near the Great Wall The location is truly strategic—only about a 300m walk to the cable car entrance, making it super convenient to visit the Great Wall. For halal food, you can easily take a Didi to Sultan Pakistan, around 5km from the hotel. The food is excellent, though slightly on the pricey side. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was good, and both the heater and hot shower worked perfectly, which is very important especially in cold weather. Special thanks to Ding Feng at the front desk who speaks good English and was extremely helpful. He even lent his phone when mine couldn’t connect to WiFi and helped us purchase Great Wall entrance tickets (Tower 14) and cable car tickets at a very good price. His responses were always swift—kudos to him! Recommended to go by 8am to avoid high traffic of people. One highlight is the rooftop of the hotel, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Great Wall stretching across the mountains. An excellent stay overall."

"moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome. The GRO, Holiday, was especially helpful and always attentive to our needs throughout our stay. All the staff were brilliant with both us and our children – a special thank you to Adam, who went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt at home. Bubble was also amazing with the kids, and they absolutely adored the Mini Club! The activities were engaging and fun, and Nindi not only ran great sessions with the children but also looked after us so well outside of Mini Club too. The food was excellent – with a great variety of both Chinese and Western dishes to suit all tastes. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked again to celebrate my birthday. Highly recommended for families!"

"強烈推薦！！！酒店新對外開放，很是乾淨整潔。, 重點是工作人員的服務態度超級好，基本上可以滿足客人的各種需求。晚上和酒店借了椅子坐在停車場看星星，享受遠離市區的喧嘩。最最有特點的是聽前台小哥講述酒店老闆的故事，聽完很震撼，也能感受到工作人員對於老闆的崇拜，每個人提起老闆都很自豪，很好的企業文化。酒店老闆的想法也很純粹，把自己的愛好宣傳起來，提供免費的帆船、皮划艇體驗機會，玩感比金海湖景區的船要好很多。總之是一次非常滿意的入住體驗，一個好的酒店團隊給我們此次旅途帶來很多意外驚喜！"

"Close to shopping center and train station. Staff were helpful. Washing machine and dryer is available in each floor. Breakfast was not a full buffet but reasonable, Chinese local style breakfast and Westerners might not like it. I think it is better to eat at the shopping center opening around 10am if you don’t need to go out too early.  Some smell from the water drainage of the shower. Even though smoking is not allowed but we can smell cigarettes. Number of  hotels had similar problem that is out of hotel’s control."
