"A Relaxing and Convenient City Getaway I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. Its location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with shops, restaurants, major sights, and public transport all just a few minutes’ walk away. It made getting around incredibly easy and stress-free. The hot spring facilities were wonderful: clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly quiet. The water was at the perfect temperature, and soaking in the onsen provided the ultimate relaxation after a day of sightseeing. My room was spotless and comfortable, with fresh linens, modern amenities, and good soundproofing for a peaceful night’s sleep. Housekeeping was excellent throughout my stay. The staff stood out for their politeness and attentiveness—everyone from reception to the concierge was friendly, professional, and quick to assist with a genuine smile. Overall, this hotel offers a great combination of prime location, soothing onsen, clean rooms, and warm service. Perfect for anyone seeking comfort and convenience in the city. Highly recommended!"

"Best Western Plus Hotel Chitose – Convenient Airport Stay with Mixed Service My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Chitose this week. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes from New Chitose Airport, and the taxi ride cost roughly $30 USD, which made travel very convenient. Our arrival experience wasn’t the strongest start. We arrived around 2:00 pm and were told our room was ready but that we would need to pay an additional fee to check in one hour early. They held our luggage while we waited in the lobby, and about 10 minutes before official check-in time they offered to let us in to our room (10 minutes early) as a “favor.” Since the room was already prepared, this felt unnecessary and didn’t set the most welcoming tone to charge us. Even simply delivering our luggage to the room while we explored would have been appreciated. The room itself was quite good. It was clean (besides couch stain and shower smudge), relatively spacious by Japanese standards, and stocked with the usual thoughtful amenities common in Japan. The beds were comfortable, and having three pillows per bed was a nice touch. The soaps also felt high quality. The TV is not placed at an angle that makes it easy to watch from the bed, only the couch but we didn’t use it or this living room area. The location is another plus, with several restaurants, Seven-11 and shops within easy walking distance. Service was somewhat inconsistent. The concierge provided a map with recommendations but mentioned being new to the area and couldn’t share much additional insight. When we asked the night desk attendant about nearby places serving Japanese soufflé pancakes for breakfast, she suggested waiting for the hotel café to open at 10:00 am, even though they don’t actually serve pancakes, which wasn’t especially helpful. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the airport with reliable WiFi. Just don’t expect highly proactive hospitality or detailed local recommendations beyond the basics."

"Ideal location for foodies and shoppers! The location offers a safe and convenient environment with eateries, cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and souvenir shops just a stone’s throw away. The hotel side door connects directly to Block 5 of Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It’s also near enough (within 1.5km) to walk to the Nijo fish market, Odori Park and Sapporo JR station."

"We always stayed at this hotel when we visited Otaru as we enjoyed the large spacious room and the amenities were great (we love the set of toiletries and Nespresso machine). It is part of the mega wingbay shopping centre and the supermarket can be accessed internally from the hotel lobby up to midnight, which we appreciate especially during winter season. The mountain view room also has a beautiful view during winter time."

"Останавливались вдвоем на две ночи в конце октября в номере 103. Заказали трансфер от отеля, довезли из Саппоро в отель в поселке, после несколько часов просили подождать и отвезли на трансфере уже в наш отель, потому что мы приехали раньше заселения. На время ожидания можно было пользоваться благами большого отеля сети. Заселились около трех, при заселении дали выбрать время ужина и завтрака. Еду приносили в большом контейнере и оставляли в специальном отсеке. Ужин оба раза был одинаковый: два бульона для хотпота, 4 вида мяса, тарелка овощей, тарелка с лапшой и специями, несколько закусок и десерт. Мясо вкусное и разнообразное, свинина и несколько видов говядины, его надо варить в бульоне самому. На завтрак каждый день был йогурт, свежий кофе, молоко, несколько разных порций варенья, вареные яйца, суп и салат. В первый день дали булку с кремом и простую пустую булочку (каждому по одной), на второй — большой батон еще теплого хлеба. В лобби доступны в неограниченном количестве снеки и напитки: газировка, пиво, крепкий алкоголь. Оба варианта очень сытные, их на день достаточно. Номер большой и просторный, есть просторный балкон с двумя стульями, чтобы любоваться природой, большие окна около спальных мест. Есть мини-холодильник, небольшие снеки и бутылка вина как подарок. Розеток немного и из минусов то, что нет переходников или разъемов для зарядки телефона напрямую, например, usb или type-c, но у нас был свой переходник, так что в целом не критично В номере огромный онсен с водой (если не ошибаюсь, около 73 градусов), в нем внутри ступенька — можно не целиком сесть, а только по грудь, плюс половина — каменная плита, покрытая водой сверху сантиметров на 5-10. На ней приятно сидеть, если полностью в воде жарко. Очень все понравилось, за два дня провели в онсене наверное часов шесть, настолько приятно и уютно. Было грустно уезжать. Спасибо за гостеприимство! Постараемся вернуться снова"

"One of the best ryokans I have visited in Hokkaido There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean! Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow. Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied. There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!) Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport"

"The hotel is in a good Location near the chanel. Very nice beer brewery with a big variety of beer is just across the Chanel . Fish market and train station in 10 minutes by steps. There is the perfect big onsen on the top with great view on the sea. All three days I visited it I was alone. Breakfast was ok, but not as gorgeous as I expected. The room was clean and quite big. The furniture is a little old but in good condition."
