"The location of this hotel is excellent, being so close to the Susukino Metro station. You can walk to Nikka Whisky in just 5 minutes and Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho in 10 minutes. The hotel is brand new, modern, and very clean. They even provide homemade cookies for guests, which are delicious!"

"stayed at JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo from 13–17 February 2026, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Sapporo Station, which made getting around very easy. Even though the city was beautifully blanketed in snow, the roads were well maintained and accessible, so walking to and from the station was not an issue. The room was cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I was truly impressed by the overall cleanliness and thoughtful amenities provided. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is the public bath. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese-style public bath, and it added a special touch to my trip. It was relaxing and well-maintained — definitely a memorable experience. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Sapporo. It offers comfort, convenience, and a unique local experience all in one place."

"We had a great stay at Smile Hotel Sapporo. The location is excellent. It is close to entertainment areas, with easy access to the bus stop and subway station. The airport bus stop is also very close, just about a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful, and the free amenities for guests were a nice bonus. The only thing I’d suggest is having a free water refill available. Overall, I love Japan, and you really can’t go wrong staying here."

"We stayed here from January 22 to 29, and I can say for certain that this is an amazing hotel for couples like us (or even solo travelers!) Their rooms are spacious enough to open a check-in luggage, with great ventilation and heating. They have a toiletry rack in the ground floor to help yourself to daily essentials, and have a convenience foreign currncy exchange machine. On the second floor, they provide a spacious vending and laundry machines for thise to pack lightly. The location is so close to Nakajimakoen Station. During heavy snowfall, you can cut through Sapporo Park Hotel to the station to avoid slippery ice on roads. The nearby station is one of the prettiest sights in winter and is definitely a must-see. There's a Family Mart, Lawson, 7-eleven, and Seicomart just a few blocks away, so you needn't worry about food as well."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Location was just a short walk away from the main intersection in Susukino. Travelers should note that a short walk anywhere in Sapporo in the winter becomes a very difficult and somewhat treacherous walk with luggage."

"The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions, subway lines, and great restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable,fantastic night's sleep every single night. Best of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!"

"As with the other reviews here. Their location is everything. The airport limousine bus stops extremely close by this hotel. Just few mins walk to reach. Further, this hotel connects directly underground to Pole Town shopping and the subway (Namboku line), traveling around is extremely convenient; few hotels that are so strategically located as this one! Plenty of food and konbini options (Seicomart right next door) around as well because this hotel is right outside Tanukikoji shopping street. There are also McD and MOS burgers nearby. Something I don't like is the room they gave me is on the lowest floor, even when I requested a high floor very early on. The walking traffic light chirping sound outside is very loud and I can hear it in the room (thankfully it was off during sleeping time). As for the staff, there is a mix of foreigners (some Nepalese and Thai) and Japanese local, all of which are very helpful. Although they said housekeeping only every 7 days, but they collected the trash and change towels daily; even made up our bed, i think the only thing they didn't do is change your bedsheets everyday. Twin room is quite spacious for 2 person, we can open up our luggage no problem. Express check out available just drop your key inside the lift. Overall I'm very happy and it's a pleasant experience! (except for the loud traffic bird sound)"

"The hotel is about 550 meters from JR Sapporo Station. While there aren’t many restaurants nearby, it’s conveniently located right in front of Hokkaido University. The nearest convenience store is Seicomart. Interaction with staff is minimal as check-in and check-out are handled through machines. Breakfast is complimentary, and you confirm your selection via the TV in your room. However, the Wi-Fi is highly unstable—it frequently disconnects and was completely unavailable for one night during our 4-night stay. Free coffee is available from 3 PM daily. Towels are replaced daily and hung on your door, while basic amenities are provided. The water pressure is excessively strong, almost as if draining an entire river. Room cleaning is scheduled every 4 days."

"The location and staff are really excellent. My suggestions only to improve is to vacuum the carpet in the room area, change beddings at least every 3 days or once if you stay for 1 week and a complementary coffee. But overall, i will still come back and stay in Hotel Plus Hostel"
