Es gab nichts zu meckern. Wir hatten für 2 Nächte ein sehr modern eingerichtetes ca. 16 m² großes Doppelzimmer. Inkludiert war eine Mikrowelle und ein Kühlschrank mit Eisfach. Eine kleine Theke mit Hockern, machte das Zimmer noch charmanter. Das Badezimmer war auch top. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Je nach Belieben kann man direkt vor dem Hotel die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel wie Bus und Tram nutzen oder man geht ein paar Schritte bis zur S-Bahn-Haltestelle. Ein Kaufland ist direkt nebenan und verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Sattwerden gab es auch. Es gibt Fastfood wie Subway, Döner oder chinesiches Essen, aber auch mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe wie Italiener, Griechen, Thai etc. Für unseren Aufenthalt war das Hotel die richtige Wahl.

Sijainti on noin 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Gesundbrunnenin rautatieasemalta. Sisäänkirjautuminen on mahdollista vain sisäänkirjautumistiskin automaateilla. Henkilökuntaa on kuitenkin saatavilla, jos tarvitset apua. Minulta veloitettiin 51 euroa heti alussa, vaikka se oli ennakkoon maksettu hinta; en tiedä miksi, mutta hyvitys käsiteltiin nopeasti. Huone oli ihan ok, joitakin tahroja, myös verhoissa. Ilmastointi on keskusohjattu, joten sille ei valitettavasti voi tehdä paljoakaan. Muuten huoneessa oli kaksi kuppia, teepusseja, pikakahvia, jääkaappi, televisio ja (epävakaa) Wi-Fi. Kylpyhuone oli ihan ok, vaikka pyyhkeitä ei ollutkaan saapuessa; ne toimitettiin myöhemmin. Vinkki huoneistohotellille: Sisäänkirjautuminen on mahdollista vain Ocak-hotellissa; itse huoneistohotellilla ei ole vastaanottoa (vinkki hotellille: Ilmoitus huoneistohotellin sisäänkäynnillä olisi hyödyllinen!). No, kokonaisuudessaan, jos hinta on oikea, hotelli on ihan hyväksyttävä, mutta henkilökunta kokonaisuudessaan ei vaikuta kovin vieraanvaraiselta (pyysin aterimia ensimmäisenä iltana, ja vanhempi puvussa oleva työntekijä yritti veloittaa minulta euron muovisista aterimista; luulen, että ulkonäköni riitti hänelle ymmärtämään, ettei hänen pitäisi). Baarin henkilökunta 22. lokakuuta illalla ei myöskään saanut minua vieraana tuntemaan oloani mukavaksi siellä viipyillessäni!

The location for this hotel is ideal for exploring Berlin by foot or public transport. There are also quite a few attractions nearby or a short walk away and many good restaurants close as well. We had very few interactions with staff as we had no issues during our stay and when we did speak with them they were kind and helpful. First thing we needed was to sort out parking and that was easy because there was free street parking in the evening and on weekends so that was free during our stay. We had a quick check in too. We booked a double room for my wife and I and a single room for her mom. We both had a good amount of space and the rooms have furniture that utilize the space well including a desk, a safe, shelves with built in hangers and plenty of bars and hangers throughout the room to hang your things. There was a small TV, good lighting and some helpful lighting around the headboard. The tempurature control is good in the rooms with a thermostat on the wall that has a power button on top and controls on the front to control the air conditioning or heat. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very quiet at night so we got a good night's rest. The bathroom was small but designed well. The shower had good pressure, plenty of hot water and a good curtain to keep the water in. They provide a shampoo/shower gel combo so you may want to consider bringing your own bath products. If you book a suite you get a mini fridge and kettle but the regular rooms have neither. There are tea stations on even floors that have a nice filtered water dispenser that does hot, cold and room temperature water.

Se on lähellä metroasemaa ja tarjoaa hyvää vastinetta rahalle. Se on myös kätevästi lähellä suuria ostoskeskuksia ja supermarketteja.

My lovely wife Ping and I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express while visiting Berlin. The room was clean and comfortable. Our check in and check out was seamless, especially with the friendly and accommodating reception staff. I special shout out to Kristian whose friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, to Mane for her kindness and friendliness. Please pass on my thanks to both of them. Lastly, the breakfast was abundant and satisfying.

Absolutely loved this place – amazing location and a fantastic overall experience. The location couldn’t have been better – everything was within walking distance, from great restaurants and cafes to public transport and key attractions. It made exploring the area so convenient and enjoyable. The place itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with all the essentials provided. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, and I immediately felt at home. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. It’s clear that the hosts care about creating a great experience for their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a memorable stay. I’d definitely come back again!

Sauber, ruhig und gute Umgebung

По соотношению цены и качества для Берлина норм. В коридорах есть странное покрытие, наверное, идет ремонт. Сам отель в старинном доме. Кровать неудобная. И постельное белье так себе. Зато завтрак порадовал, без изысков, но я прям с удовольствием ел. Были фрикадельки, салат с майонезом. В целом очень хорошо. От центра не совсем близко из-за пересадок в метро. Но само метро прям рядом. И около отеля прям торговая улица Курфютерсдам начинается. В целом отель, если вы ограничены в деньгах, то вариант хороший.

Ich hatte einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass ich mich rundum wohlgefühlt

I I had an unforgettable hotel experience. When I arrived, I tried to push the door open, but it was locked. There was no doorbell. Just as I was fretting over what to do, three groups of guests who had booked the same hotel tried to enter, but none of them could get in. Then one of the guests noticed a digital keypad and typed in the code from her email, but none of them could get in. Each of our groups tried their codes, but none of them could get in. As we were still fretting, the door suddenly opened, and a guest came out, allowing us all to enter. That guest explained that the hotel had emailed us a ten-digit start code and a four-digit comfort code. You had to enter the start code first, then the comfort code, to open the door. The other guests had both the start code and the comfort code, but my email only contained the comfort code. The kind guest checked my email and confirmed that it contained only the comfort code. He then called the hotel, and they said our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't paid the city tax. However, I clearly saw on the check-in voucher that the €29.90 check-in fee was payable upon arrival. The staff member on the phone later said they would email us the payment and, after payment, gave us a new start code and comfort code. After payment, we finally got a room. However, upon checking in, I discovered it wasn't the Standard Studio with Balcony we'd booked, but a Standard Studio. I didn't want to call them again to complain about the mistake; I just wanted a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from S train station, and the room was generally acceptable.
