"A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead. That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am. At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade. The location is excellent — very convenient for exploring Berlin, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it perfect for both business and leisure trips. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a warm attitude. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options to choose from. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt elegant yet relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Berlin."

"It’s a good location to access to Berlin Central Stations. We had 2 single rooms with acceptable pricing with the city Centre location. However, the housekeeping section required to improve as I’m unaware that they needs to pre-informed if u liked to clean your rooms with new towels and empty trash. However, I managed to get the access through front desk. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service quality as 4 stars hotel."

"I absolutely love this hotel! The breakfast is excellent and the quality is amazing! Location is good and the comfort is top notch. The only improvement that could be made is to have the complimentary bottled water refilled. They only provide it for the first day. This is very unusual compared to other hotels... one would expect them to reward long staying guests. Still - I love it here!"

"The location is very nice. In general everything is good. I was shocked that upon making check out the reception wanted to charge me 2 EUR for the luggage room. I was intended to go to have fast breakfast very early morning and leave 1 suitcase in the luggage room for 20 minutes. The hotel said that I can bring my luggage back to the room free or to pay 2 eur))) it is not friendly at all."

"Hotelli H4 Berlin Alexanderplatz on erittäin suositeltava majoituspaikka. Ensinnäkin hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava. Se sijaitsee Berliinin keskustassa Alexanderplatzilla, josta on erinomaiset kulkuyhteydet. Useat kuuluisat nähtävyydet, kuten Berliinin televisiotorni, Museosaari ja Punainen kaupungintalo, ovat kaikki kävelymatkan päässä. Se sopii erinomaisesti niin liike- kuin vapaa-ajan matkailijoillekin. Toiseksi hotellin palvelut ja tilat ovat erittäin kattavat ja nykyaikaiset. Huoneet ovat tilavia ja valoisia, sisustus minimalistisen tyylikäs, vuoteet mukavat ja siisteys moitteetonta. Hotellin aamiainen on runsas ja monipuolinen, josta löytyy varmasti jokaiselle jotakin. Lisäksi hotellissa on kuntosali ja sauna, joissa vieraat voivat rentoutua kiireisen päivän jälkeen. Viimeiseksi, hotellin palvelu on myös erinomaista. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja avuliasta, tarjoaa monikielistä palvelua ja on aina valmiina auttamaan vieraiden kaikissa kysymyksissä ja ongelmissa, mikä saa olon tuntumaan tervetulleelta ja kotoisalta. Kaiken kaikkiaan Hotelli H4 Berlin Alexanderplatz osoittautui erinomaiseksi niin sijaintinsa, palveluidensa kuin tilojensakin puolesta. Suosittelen tätä lämpimästi kaikille Berliiniin matkustaville!"

"I stayed here for 5 nights for the Berlin Marathon. I would have to say that overall I was very comfortable at this hotel. Yes it's a few kms away from the famous sights but the it's really easy just to jump onto the U5 line directly outside the hotel and it will bring you directly to the Brandenburg Gate in less than 10 minutes. The staff at the hotel were all kind, warm and friendlyl. Many spoke excellent English. The deco of the hotel had a cool vibe about it. Berlin is an amazing City that needs to be visited. The room is perfect for solo travellers and spotless clean. The only real negative comment I could make was no kettle in the rooms and the temperature of the shower needs to be a little higher. Other than that I really like this hotel and they run a good business."
