I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 4. Its location is excellent—right in the heart of Alexanderplatz, surrounded by public transport, plenty of food options, grocery stores, and nearby sights. However, through no fault of the hotel, it sits very close to a church whose bells ring extremely loudly at 8 a.m. every morning. Even with earplugs, I was woken up daily. The front desk staff were friendly, check‑in was easy, and I really appreciated the keyless entry system using door codes—one less thing to worry about misplacing. The room itself is a smart use of space for a short stay or for travellers who mainly need a place to rest rather than spend long periods inside. I liked the bunk bed for one child above the main bed, and the convenient light switches by the beds. The pillows, however, were a real disappointment—completely lacking firmness. My travel partner didn’t use theirs at all, saying, “It’s no use pretending it’s doing anything.” I’d recommend requesting extra pillows unless you prefer sleeping very flat. One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand is that the shower is not enclosed behind a bathroom door. If you’re sharing with people you’re not fully comfortable with, this could be an issue. You may need to coordinate shower times so others can step out. The toilet, at least, is in its own separate space. The shower has a combined hair/body wash, but there’s no complimentary body lotion or tissues. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, and there’s no complimentary coffee available. I would stay here again if it weren’t for the church bells. If you’re a deep sleeper, it may not bother you, but light sleepers should be aware.

Tikkaita oli vaikea kiivetä, koska minut oli määrätty toiseen kerrokseen, mutta sijainti oli hyvä, kylpyhuone oli suuri ja siisti, ja tilaa tavaroille oli runsaasti. Oli mukavaa, että oven sulkeutuessa muiden kapseleiden melu ja tärinä vaikuttivat siihen, mutta muuten oli erittäin hiljaista, joten nukkuminen ei ollut ongelma.

It is clean and quiet, also I think the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you are solo traveler, you should consider here

They provided a late check-in which was super convenient. The room was quite cosy and the bed could be small for a huge person (bunk-bed in a 4 person dormitory). For me, it was perfect for a few hours of sleep. The bathrooms and washrooms are shared and accessible separately outside the rooms. Very clean and comfortable stalls for a nice shower. The breakfast didn't have a lot of vegetarian options and it was a small spread, but enough for a quick bite in the morning. The staff is all helpful and friendly. Overall a good stay for a short time and on a budget. The location was also very convenient to reach from the S bahn and tram station.

Staff were not the nicest but still the hotel and room stay was great. Would recommend but do check dates and check in before booking!

The location is very good, even on foot you're close to some main attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and we appreciated the free water, tea, and coffee in the lobby. Our room had two single beds and, although not mentioned beforehand, we were pleased to find that it included a private bathroom. Towels were also provided. However, the bathroom had no shower gel or soap at all. The room was meant to have underfloor heating, but we were cold for two nights due to a draught from the balcony door; only the last night was warm, and there was no thermostat to adjust the temperature. The beds creaked loudly with even the smallest movement. Finally, entering the room with the key card was surprisingly difficult — sometimes it took 2–4 minutes for the door to read the card, even after replacing it.

The hotel was not very clean for that price also the day of check out I was asleep and someone knocked on the door and said it’s your check-out day (much before the check-out time)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay for solo travelers! I stayed here as a solo traveler and had a really good experience. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, and helpful staff. It’s easy to meet new people, and the location is very convenient for exploring the city. Definitely a good place to stay if you’re traveling alone and want both comfort and good vibes!

It was good for the price I paid. There was a firealarm twice during my one-week-stay. You can go there, it’s not too bad. I never saw another person in the shared bathroom for instance. The reception is nice but the coffee small for its price. While you can hear in your room everything that is happening in front of it, I never had enough people on my floor to find it too disturbing. It’s a big building. What I really liked was the cozy room, the desk, the arrangement of the light and the sink. I felt at home in the private space.
