"The location is good, with S-Bahn and U-Bahn around and it gets to most places in Berlin. Plenty of options of food for breakfast. The hotel is clean and tidy. The capsule coffee machine in the room didn’t work but they came and fixed it during the way so it was fine. The only drawback is the hotel check in system: the self-check in doesn’t work and it just creates more work for the reception."

"It’s a good location to access to Berlin Central Stations. We had 2 single rooms with acceptable pricing with the city Centre location. However, the housekeeping section required to improve as I’m unaware that they needs to pre-informed if u liked to clean your rooms with new towels and empty trash. However, I managed to get the access through front desk. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service quality as 4 stars hotel."

"Hotelli H4 Berlin Alexanderplatz on erittäin suositeltava majoituspaikka. Ensinnäkin hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava. "A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead. That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am. At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort."

"I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 4. Its location is excellent—right in the heart of Alexanderplatz, surrounded by public transport, plenty of food options, grocery stores, and nearby sights. However, through no fault of the hotel, it sits very close to a church whose bells ring extremely loudly at 8 a.m. every morning. Even with earplugs, I was woken up daily. The front desk staff were friendly, check‑in was easy, and I really appreciated the keyless entry system using door codes—one less thing to worry about misplacing. The room itself is a smart use of space for a short stay or for travellers who mainly need a place to rest rather than spend long periods inside. I liked the bunk bed for one child above the main bed, and the convenient light switches by the beds. The pillows, however, were a real disappointment—completely lacking firmness. My travel partner didn’t use theirs at all, saying, “It’s no use pretending it’s doing anything.” I’d recommend requesting extra pillows unless you prefer sleeping very flat. One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand is that the shower is not enclosed behind a bathroom door. If you’re sharing with people you’re not fully comfortable with, this could be an issue. You may need to coordinate shower times so others can step out. The toilet, at least, is in its own separate space. The shower has a combined hair/body wash, but there’s no complimentary body lotion or tissues. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, and there’s no complimentary coffee available. I would stay here again if it weren’t for the church bells. If you’re a deep sleeper, it may not bother you, but light sleepers should be aware."

"There is are nice view of the pyramids. In the morning, the sunrise makes me happy and wakes me up freshly. Also, the breakfast is tasty. Restaurant breakfast has American-style and Egyptian-style too. So you can pick up The receptionists are friendly and kind. I forgot jacket, so they called me to remind me."

"The location is very good, even on foot you're close to some main attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and we appreciated the free water, tea, and coffee in the lobby. Our room had two single beds and, although not mentioned beforehand, we were pleased to find that it included a private bathroom. Towels were also provided. However, the bathroom had no shower gel or soap at all. The room was meant to have underfloor heating, but we were cold for two nights due to a draught from the balcony door; only the last night was warm, and there was no thermostat to adjust the temperature. The beds creaked loudly with even the smallest movement. Finally, entering the room with the key card was surprisingly difficult — sometimes it took 2–4 minutes for the door to read the card, even after replacing it."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade. The location is excellent — very convenient for exploring Berlin, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it perfect for both business and leisure trips. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a warm attitude. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options to choose from. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt elegant yet relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Berlin."
