"The entrance is right in front of Gora Station, so transportation wouldn't be an issue. Plenty of shops and places to eat around the station, but they close pretty early. The front desk staff can speak English and explained everything clearly, from the type of onsen, the bathing hours, meals, and how to get to our rooms (it was in a separate building). The onsen are great, the outdoor private bathtub is great, but the water cools off pretty quickly in winter. The room is very spacious and they also provide an extra futon. I could do a bit of work comfortably in the rooms while resting. They have a bunch of amenities at the lobby, you could make tea, coffee, get some ice cream and bring them to your rooms. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious. You need reservations for meals since the seats are limited."

"Central location right beside bus interchange and odawara station for JR ride back to Osaka, shopping centre and food are all nearby in the vicinity. Room is clean, public bath is available and good breakfast spread buffet style. 1800 yen 3pm to 11am next day parking at minaka basement. Can drive to Hakone or southern peninsula shizuoka for sightseeing. View of odawara castle from roof top restaurant."

"The hotel itself is not bad - beds are comfortable and large, and the dinner is okay, but nothing too special. This hotel overwhelmingly caters to families, which is evident when staying there: there are many children, and a lot of the amenities cater to them as well. For example the sauna is not very hot and there’s a lot of candies in the free snack bar. I wish the hotel was better at communicating / marketing this on their website, as I’m not the intended audience and it’s very expensive for a mediocre experience. As well, the breakfast timing is questionable - only available from 7am - 8:30am, along with a 10am checkout time this is quite an early start and not very relaxing."

"Absolutely love this place! The staff are very friendly, and the onsen is clean and well-maintained. There are 3 outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools, along with a steam room and sauna, which make for a relaxing experience. The facility is open for both day trips and overnight stays, but staying overnight is much better for a more chill and leisurely time. There’s a massage chair available, but it requires payment. Breakfast is also delicious and definitely worth it. The only downside is the location—it’s not very convenient and requires some walking. If you’re traveling light, it’s manageable. They do have a payable shuttle bus, but the timing isn’t great. Walking can be pleasant if the weather’s nice, or you can opt for a taxi. Overall, I’ll definitely book this place again for the relaxing atmosphere!"

"Booked with private onsen - best part of the hotel! The public onsen was never busy when we went and perfectly enjoyable. The nearby one that guests have access too offers more onsen options and is worth the 3 minute walk over. As others say, the buffet isn’t great. Most food is cold - so pick options you expect to be so (sushi etc) for the best option. The service was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly."

"Check in took quite some time as there were many guests checking in at 3pm. The hotel has a western ryokan feel. It has 2 onsens which they alternate between men and women and I suggest going to both. The one on level 5 has a waterfall view. Dinner was buffet style and the variety was great. I super love the fresh Sashimi, the miso soup, the tempura and sushi, snow crab etc. Room was clean and spacious with our own outdoor Onsen bath. Would love to come back."

Okada-hotellin 8. kerroksessa on jalkakylpy matkalla Hakone no Moriin, mikä on mukavaa. Illallinen ja aamiainen sisältyivät hintaan, mutta jos tilaat illallisen vakiona, se tarjoillaan tarjottimella. Voit syödä Yunosaton toisessa kerroksessa ja tilata muita ruokalistoja yksitellen tai mukaan. Aamiainen on buffet Hakonenomorin kellarissa, ja vaikka se ei ole kovin monipuolinen, se ei ole paha pikapalaksi. Sukkula on minibussi, joten monet ihmiset eivät pääse siihen, mutta jos jonot myöhään, et edes pääse kyytiin. Monet ihmiset odottivat alemmalla pysäkillä, mutta eivät päässeet kyytiin. Se oli 220 000 wonia sisältäen aamiaisen ja illallisen arkipäivänä, ja olin henkilökohtaisesti tyytyväinen."

"숙소가 고라역 근처인데, 힐링만 하러 오기에는 아깝네요. 고라역까지 온김에 꼭 리프트타고 올라갔다오는게 좋은데, 료칸이라 그것도 아까울수있어요. 조식은 뷔페식이고 괜찮았고, 석식은 술하고 음료 많은데 식사는 좀 적은감이 있어요. 바로앞 편의점인 것도 좋고, 방에 욕실있는곳이 정말 좋았습니다."

"AMAZING hotel. We booked two nights here towards the end of our two weeks trip and it was the best decision ever! Hotel was very clean and cozy. Staff were very attentive and kind. We could only book this room as this was the only available room at the time of my booking. I'd preferred a different room. But to my surprise I LOVED the room. The view of the mountain and autumn leaves were amazing. Even my husband who couldn't care less about nature and view in general fell in love. He soaked in the hot spring tub 3 times an hour for several hours! We both loved it. We could grab a dvd in the lobby to watch. I grabbed harry potter second and third movies to watch. How relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! And shuttle service to Kowakidani train station were a huge convenience! Would love to come back and book a different type of room in the future!"
