Location is great for city shopping. Restaurant is nice and food quality is high. Stayed in a very small room without lake view. People at next building were doing gym and able to look clearly the room without too much privacy. Very noise on traffic due to proximity to the main road if you open windows for fresh air. The bathtub plug is too old and hurt my finger with loose metal chips come off. Recommend to stay only for lake view room during non-peak season. Otherwise, not very cost efficient except you get a big pocket.

We stayed 3 nights in a family room for 4. The room is spacious enough to put all our 5 luggages. The bed is comfy and there is a mini bar which offer free drinks. The location is ideal and walking distance about 10mins to the main train station. The buffet breakfast spread is also good.

The hotel offers a convenient location near the train station, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. From a facilities standpoint, everything met expectations. However, the service provided during the night shift was disappointing. Shortly after midnight, I contacted the front desk for assistance with locating an Apple Store or confirming the train route to the airport, as my phone screen had just been damaged. The staff member on duty displayed impatience and a clear unwillingness to communicate. He repeatedly told me not to worry in front of him and to “figure it out myself,” which was both unhelpful and unprofessional. His information was also inconsistent—first claiming the Apple Store near the train station could repair phones, then insisting there was no Apple Store in the area. When I approached the reception directly for further assistance, he again refused to help. By contrast, the morning receptionist was courteous, patient, and provided clear guidance, including the fact that a train transfer was required to reach the airport—details the night staff had not mentioned. It is unfortunate that one staff member’s attitude overshadowed an otherwise positive experience. With more consistent and professional service across all shifts, this hotel would be an excellent choice for travelers.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well equipped. Everything is there, also slippers and L'occitane products. The view of the city - if you have a good room - is wonderful. Ah, and the room is very clean ! On the negative side, the bed was uneven, maybe because it was used too much, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Then, the rooms are not so spacious. For one or two nights, I fully recommend coming here. I will rather go to a more modern hotel next time because of the uneven mattress.

Check in was pretty fast and easy. The rooms are pretty decent with size, but only allow 2 adults and 1 child on the double bed. Paying for an additional bed for adult costs CHF 80, which is reasonable. However, since I have 2 young kids, I also have to pay for the additional bed. Though not a big deal, but hope hotel can revise the occupancy policy to offer family with 2 young child to stay in without additional costs, Location wise, it’s fantastic. Next to a university.

Hotel has a long history and beautifully furnished, but was located quite far from the station and there was not much of a view. Loved the breakfast.

Hye guys, Malaysian review here 🇲🇾 (hones review okess!!! ) (pictures also mine!!!) So I stayed dekat ibis Hotel Lucerne for 12 days 11 nights with my family and honestly I can say tempat ni sangat strategic. Bas jalan sikit je depan hotel, nak balik pun boleh naik bas, and train station pun dekat. Kami usually naik bas 2 stops terus sampai Luzern Bahnhof, memang senang gila nak bergerak. Location hotel ni betul-betul area tengah Tasik Luzern, and the view… cantik gila 😭✨ Kalau tak berkabus musim winter tu, MasyaAllah memang breathtaking. Boleh nampak gunung-ganang surrounding, and yes you can literally see the Alps, plus yang paling gah kat bandar tu mestilah Mount Pilatus 🏔️ Cuma satu je pasal Lucerne, halal food options memang tak banyak. Tapi no worries sebab my family memang selalu ke Zurich, Bern, and other places untuk makan, so still okay 👍 Hotel service memang top tier for our stay. Diorang bagi free train & bus tickets yang cover Zone 10 (Lucerne city only). Kami guna mostly dalam sehari je sebab most of our itinerary dah cover whole Switzerland, but still sangat helpful. Room pun luas gila, tak kecik langsung macam yang orang selalu expect dari ibis hehe 🤍 Overall memang recommended kalau stay lama kat Lucerne with family ✨🇨🇭

Not near city centre. However, hotel provided free ticket for public transport there. Overall, a very pleasant experience during my stay there.

Hotelli sijaitsee Lucernen aseman lähellä ja helposti saatavilla. Lisäksi lyhyt kävely kappeli sillan ja vanhan kaupungin. On ruokailualue, jossa voit syödä ja tarjoaa myös kahvia ja teetä 24/7. Televisio ei kuitenkaan ole englantilaisia kanavia ja nauha on kylmä. Kylmävettä on kuuma, mutta se ei kestä kauan.

Located 15 mins walking distance to Lucern train station. It had everything we needed but no facial tissue and only one towel per person. Our stay was great and the host who helped with check in was friendly.
