"The hotel is in the Old Quarter and some tourist attractions are just walking distance. The staffs are very approachable and friendly. One staff, Peter, offered as package tour services to explore Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh. It was a good experience and we enjoyed exploring other parts of Vietnam. Overall, we liked our stay and the places we visited with the tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The hotel was nice and clean. The service was good. Nice breakfast, basically you can get everything there. They’ve got salad, egg, sausages , bacon, cake, congee, vegetables , pho, sweet soup and fruit. Since the hotel is in the old town. So it is very convenient to go anywhere. However my friend lost a bracelet in the hotel. She said she put it on a coffee plate in the room and it was gone when we came back. I just want to remind you to keep your belongings well in the safe or keep them with you all the time. The welcome fruit , the coffee and tea are free. But the snacks and cookies are not! They are very cheap though."

"I booked room with queen-bed, bathtub, balcony and floor 5-8. none of this i got. Bed are 2 single bed put together. The floor was 4(finally i dont care, but i guess my original room was sold again). Balcony is inside the building. No wind and very hot. I planed to stay longer but i am already used that the descriptions are never right in Vietnam so i left next day. Outside are many small eating place at night and bussy but room still quietly. Bed not soft and would be good if it would have the right size."

Miinukset - suoraan edessä on paikallisen sairaalan traumaosasto ja melko vilkas tie - odotettavissa on melua ja ambulansseja. Äänieristys on heikko. Kolmeen päivään en ole nukkunut hyvin."

"The room is enough clean, but beddings are stinky. Even I could abide, feeling uncomfortable. In the middle of the night i work up with itchiness and found the thighs are bitten by bedbugs. Also the internet is slow."

"It’s a little bit pricey compared with many others in Hanoi. But we enjoyed our stay in Tamundi Alley homestay. The room was big and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the shower equipment and everything worked well. It was quiet at night so we had a good rest there. We’ll stay here again if we return to Hanoi."

"The hotel contacted me on WhatsApp before our stay to offer tours to other cities since they’re also a travel agency. We didn’t reply, but when we arrived after a long flight, instead of checking us in right away, the staff still tried to sell us some tours. I didn’t really mind, but I was tired and wouldn’t book anything last minute anyway. The elevator is quite slow, and even with it, you still have to go down one flight of stairs to reach your room. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong unpleasant smell. The staff said it was because they had just cleaned and suggested we leave the door open for several minutes — not ideal when all you want to do is rest. They provide complimentary water, coffee, and tea, and breakfast is included. However, the breakfast spread is the same every day, and the bread is already pre-toasted, so it’s cold by the time you get to the small dining area. If you come down late, there’s usually not much food left. Basic toiletries like towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo are provided. The bathroom has a bidet, but the shower’s water pressure is quite weak. Note that the hotel is **not accessible by car** — taxis will drop you off nearby, and you’ll have to walk a bit and find your way via Google Maps. The location is very central, just a one-minute walk to St. Joseph’s Cathedral and surrounded by many restaurants, cafés, and spas. It may look a bit sketchy at first, but this seems typical for the Old Quarter area. Soundproofing is poor — you can hear noise from the street and even from the next room. Some balusters on the staircase are coming loose, and there were red hairs in the shower area, which suggests it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The facilities overall feel quite old. If you’re particular about cleanliness and comfort, this hotel might not meet your expectations. But if you just need a cheap, central place to crash for a night or two, it’s manageable."
