Excellent location. Close to Chapel Bridge, Altstadt & the tram-stop to the Main Train Station is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. Room is amazing. Bed is comfy & warm. Stayed on a higher floor where there's a balcony 😍 Breakfast was the basics, nothing fancy...but spread was good enough to kickstart your day. I'm grateful breakfast came with room. I'll definitely return for a stay when I visit Lucerne again! Highly recommended!👍👍👍

We arrived to the hotel at 12, but all locker are fully occupied (i remember only around 10 lockers) and I have to carried the luggage and wait for check in nearby the river (lucky not too far) and there is no air-con in the room but hotel do provide a fan for us but still too hot to sleep with. But the location is very good and hotel provide a free transportation ticket (never used cause we walked)

酒店位置非常好，我們一早兩小時步行遊覽盧塞恩，陽台推窗就是教堂的尖頂。小小的，像是家庭旅店，鑰匙是留在前台桌子上的信封裏，沒有工作人員提供其它諮詢服務。房間沒有空調，半夜熱醒才發現有個台式風扇。總體來説性價比不高，沒睡好

Hye guys, Malaysian review here 🇲🇾 (hones review okess!!! ) (pictures also mine!!!) So I stayed dekat ibis Hotel Lucerne for 12 days 11 nights with my family and honestly I can say tempat ni sangat strategic. Bas jalan sikit je depan hotel, nak balik pun boleh naik bas, and train station pun dekat. Kami usually naik bas 2 stops terus sampai Luzern Bahnhof, memang senang gila nak bergerak. Location hotel ni betul-betul area tengah Tasik Luzern, and the view… cantik gila 😭✨ Kalau tak berkabus musim winter tu, MasyaAllah memang breathtaking. Boleh nampak gunung-ganang surrounding, and yes you can literally see the Alps, plus yang paling gah kat bandar tu mestilah Mount Pilatus 🏔️ Cuma satu je pasal Lucerne, halal food options memang tak banyak. Tapi no worries sebab my family memang selalu ke Zurich, Bern, and other places untuk makan, so still okay 👍 Hotel service memang top tier for our stay. Diorang bagi free train & bus tickets yang cover Zone 10 (Lucerne city only). Kami guna mostly dalam sehari je sebab most of our itinerary dah cover whole Switzerland, but still sangat helpful. Room pun luas gila, tak kecik langsung macam yang orang selalu expect dari ibis hehe 🤍 Overall memang recommended kalau stay lama kat Lucerne with family ✨🇨🇭

The location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises.

Not near city centre. However, hotel provided free ticket for public transport there. Overall, a very pleasant experience during my stay there.

Hotelli sijaitsee Lucernen aseman lähellä ja helposti saatavilla. Lisäksi lyhyt kävely kappeli sillan ja vanhan kaupungin. On ruokailualue, jossa voit syödä ja tarjoaa myös kahvia ja teetä 24/7. Televisio ei kuitenkaan ole englantilaisia kanavia ja nauha on kylmä. Kylmävettä on kuuma, mutta se ei kestä kauan.

The staff at Hotel Baslertor were awesome. Toby, Lars and the lady were so friendly and helpful, We felt so welcomed and like the room we stayed in. There are seating areas in the hotel and we were able to relax in between our outings. It was convenient to hop on a bus to get to the main train station and we are able to walk to many places. If housekeeping could keep the room even cleaner it would be perfect.

The front desk is only available from morning till 11pm, so be sure you have to complete your check in beforehand. Ps. the check in/out counter is at a different location (around 2 mins walk from magic hotel).

Very nice stay in the absolute best location. Only complaint was that room hadn’t been cleaned at all prior to our self check in. Assumed that cleaners were running late but when we returned at 6pm the room still had dirty sheets on the bed and wet towels on the floor in the bathroom etc However the problem was very quickly resolved by calling the owner.
