"I chose another accommodation nearby the train station (and airport), but that was cancelled, so Trip.com bumped me up to this accommodation. It was conveniently close to the train station and they offer a free airport shuttle service. The room was what you would expect, although for this price I would expect there to be a fridge in the room - but it seems that in China this is a rare amenity. The check-in staff were very slow, and didn't ask any questions after I handed them my passport. My 64-page passport is almost completely full of stamps and visas (including many Chinese visas), but because they didn't (want to) ask, I just let them leave through it for almost 5 minutes until they found my most recent entry stamp into China."

"The hotel accepts foreigners (as of June 2025). The location is fairly convenient, though not very central. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and even a night market. The room was large and with all the necessary amenities in good condition. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't cleaned well on the first day. The staff was kind. It is possible to store your bag for free. Overall, a good option for foreigners, especially as the hotels available for them in Turpan are limited."

"We absolutely love our brief stay at this hotel. The check in service was speedy and pleasant. The receptionists were friendly and went up and above to serve us. This is by far the best hotel for our trip to Xinjiang. There are 2 sets of complimentary washers and dryers for guests for which is really helpful. The only downside is there is only 1 set of lift (for our wing) and the wait can be long during peak breakfast hours."

"We stayed in a suite which was very spacious. The housekeeping lady was so friendly, helpful and hardworking! We like her so much. Overall, it was pleasant stay. The only downside is people smoked in non-smoking rooms, corridor and restaurant. Staff didn’t tell them not to and just let the smokers smoked."

Xiao Pan and Sha Sha earn special points for helping me with a Captcha with Chinese characters! Free transfer from the railway station and back to the airport. 100% recommended."

"Wonderful place to stay. We liked the court and garden. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They organise activities and tours, which is particularly helpful for foreign tourist like us. The room was beautiful and cozy. We loved to walk around the hotel, bought a ”nan” bread nearby and see other shops and restaurants. The area around is not touristic and that's what we loved the most.
If I ever come back to Turfan, I would definitely come back here for more days."

VVieraskäyttäjäShanshan is a small town and if you do come here, it would be to visit the Kumtaq desert. The desert is 15-20 minutes from the hotel, so is the Shanshanbei railway station. I recommend this hotel because of the service of the front desk staff, Ms Xiaoba who goes above and beyond to help. She was responsive on wechat and organised a car to pick us up, she willingly booked a taxi for as we couldn’t find the address to the night market on our DIDI app., she provided extra water and answered any questions with a smile. This is a new hotel so looks clean and fresh with a smart toilet. They even have tents/ tepees so if you have a kid, this is a welcome. I saw a room with spiderman and Barbie princess theme too. The breakfast has many Chinese options and they are well cooked and delicious. They do have a coffee machine. I’d stay here again if I were to revisit. Kumtaq Desert is worth a visit and the second golf cart/sightseeing mini bus drives you right to the end and brings you back to the second station. The other deserts we visited didn’t have this. Small town, big heart, great service, amazing people! VA

For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast.
It’s a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel is in a generally good location Turpan, a 5 minute walk from bezeklik street, which made it a convenient base for exploring. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were, they even let us change rooms when something wasn’t quite right, which we thought was great service.
Overall, the service was excellent and staff genuinely tried to help whenever possible. Breakfast was good and offered a nice start to the day.
One thing worth noting is that although the hotel advertises a gym and a laundry room, the gym was not available during our stay as the hotel is still new and parts of it were under construction. There was also no on-site laundry room, but the hotel did offer to take our laundry and have it done at another hotel, which was actually a very helpful and well-handled solution.
Despite these points, the hotel offers very good value for money, and the positive service really made a difference to our stay.

AAndrew BeagrieLocation very good in the city centre. You can walk to the museum and lake in a few minutes. Lots of restaurants and a good supermarket minutes away. Staff at check in very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, if you like Chinese style. Room was spacious and modern. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time! Aircon was reasonable - temperatures outside were still quite mild for Turpan. However, if I was booking in the summer months I would check reviews on Trip beforehand to make sure it was coping with the high temperatures. No fridge in the room, which was a surprising for a modern 4 star hotel and would be another disadvantage in the summer months there. Breakfast only starts at 0800. On the day I left, I had to get a taxi at 0750. The lovely ayis in the kitchen gave me a box of food to go and slept encouraging me to take even more food! However, no one was on at reception at that time! Overall, good in many areas but needs to improve in others.

VVieraskäyttäjäSimply great place! Excellent value for money, the place is full of beautiful vineyards of grapes, the place looks like in a fairy tale. There is a shuttle that comes quickly and efficiently. The room in the shape of a wine barrel is great and clean, the staff is very nice and efficient, they helped us quite a bit. The breakfast is great and varied and there are also vegetarian options. There is a possibility of free laundry, and the reception is really available 24/7. The winery tour was beautiful and the long canal is very impressive. The shuttle from the train to the hotel and from the hotel to the train worked great. To improve - the pool was dirty throughout our stay, other than that it is just an amazing place! We will be back again in the future

The room was spotlessly clean, with lovely decor and had everything we needed. For a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The manager and his family were delightful - so kind, friendly and helpful. After a day out sight-seeing, we loved relaxing on the hotel balcony and looking up at the amazing rock formations only a stone's throw away. We stayed three nights and hope to come back some day. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
