"My stay at New Dap Hostel was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful host, Tuang, and her assistant, Yong Yong. They were incredibly welcoming and made my visit exceptional. The hostel itself is perfectly designed, offering plenty of spaces to socialize with other travelers or to find a quiet corner to relax or work. The location is also very convenient, with a great handmade noodle restaurant just 150m away and a convenience store right next door. A highlight for me was the ”Journey to the West” tour (100¥), which I'm eager to experience again with my mother, as it was her favorite fairytale. The social atmosphere is great—I shared three bottles of wine with Franco from Italy, a self-proclaimed wine expert who was genuinely impressed by the local wine. Don't forget to say hello to the friendly golden retriever and the mama cat with her kitten! I look forward to returning and highly recommend this hostel."

"店裡環境挺不錯的，交通挺方便，到吐魯番不知道多遠，給老闆打電話，叔叔騎電動車來接的，2分鐘就到了，有點尷尬。現在天氣有點冷了，騎小黃車去拍照片，晚上回來冷的很，來了還是穿厚衣服吧，"

"Lee was a great host, speaks excellent English, and was very helpful with suggestions on both things to do around Turpan and also border crossing how to info. The dorm was clean, and supplied with clean linen (make your own bed), and with an attached hot water bathroom. The lodgings are simple, but there’s plenty of space, and upon arrival I was invited to eat dinner (pictured) with Lee and some other guests—delicious! After dinner they screened a movie on an exterior wall. The location is midway between the station and Turpan proper, neither of which are comfortable walking distance, but taxis are cheap and easy to get. The hostel is within easy walking distance of one of the very interesting water irrigation museums, and there’s a good Uighur restaurant about ten minutes away on foot. If you’re on a budget, looking for a “traveller vibe” style place, and don’t mind the slightly out of the way location, this is a great option. Would stay here again."

"Wonderful place to stay. We liked the court and garden. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They organise activities and tours, which is particularly helpful for foreign tourist like us. The room was beautiful and cozy. We loved to walk around the hotel, bought a ”nan” bread nearby and see other shops and restaurants. The area around is not touristic and that's what we loved the most. If I ever come back to Turfan, I would definitely come back here for more days."

"停車方便，就是進去要往前開右轉再右轉就可以開到酒店門口了，樓下吃飯逛街特產都方便，房間空調涼快，很好"

"The hotel accepts foreigners (as of June 2025). The location is fairly convenient, though not very central. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and even a night market. The room was large and with all the necessary amenities in good condition. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't cleaned well on the first day. The staff was kind. It is possible to store your bag for free. Overall, a good option for foreigners, especially as the hotels available for them in Turpan are limited."
