"We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!"

"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well. The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

"Perfect location with excellent views of the Yulong river. Also within walking distance to one of the bamboo raft docks. The hotel staff also offered well priced private tours (buggy with driver) which I used on one of the days to sightsee along Yulong River and surrounds e.g. Moon Mountain, Shili Gallery, lunch in one of the villages, cafe spots etc. The friendly receptionist also helped book tickets in advance so I didn't need to line up when I got to Ruyi Peak (just show passport and enter) Chinese style breakfast was included - hot and delicious noodle soup with egg, fruits, tea. Perfect for a day of exploring! Highly recommended for travellers!"

"Very friendly staff. They were extremely helpful advising what to see and do. On arrival we checked into a very large room but unfortunately it was on the ground floor with no privacy. The inn responded promptly to our concern and switched us to the 2nd floor in the main building. We were very grateful for that arrangement."

The bathtub, strategically placed by a large window, was so immaculately clean it appeared brand new, adding a luxurious touch to our stay. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views was a truly unique and relaxing experience. "Had a wonderful stay in this hotel; very impressive, I have to say. The ladies hosting us were very friendly and helpful in all aspects. The fact that they don't speak English was not a blocker whatsoever, since we had very pleasant communication using a translator. She also gave us some great tips. I want to highlight a few things that were important for me and my wife: - The impressive cleanliness of this hotel; everything was sparkling. - Breakfast was mainly noodles, which I loved, but if you're not a person that enjoys noodles for breakfast, perhaps you'd want to miss it. Also, you have a limited number of coffees per stay, which is very odd since coffee is usually free and unlimited at any hotel breakfast. - A washing machine in the room; this is a lifesaver when you are traveling for weeks. - The girls managing the hotel are so friendly and awesome. - Walking distance from a plenty of restaurants and the river"
