"We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!"

"We had a great stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a modern, design-forward hotel experience in the area. The rooms were a standout—extremely clean, thoughtfully designed, and very modern with a high-end feel. Everything felt new and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in right away. Service was equally strong. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the quality, presentation, and variety were all impressive. It felt well-curated rather than generic, which you don’t always get with hotel buffets. One of the most unique aspects of the property is its amenities. The hotel offers a range of experiences you don’t typically see—spaces for calligraphy, a rock climbing area, and even an on-site cave to explore. It adds a layer of character that makes the stay more memorable. Design-wise, the hotel is beautifully executed. There’s a clear attention to detail across every floor, and the overall aesthetic feels intentional and cohesive. The pool and rooftop garden were highlights. Both offer incredible views overlooking Romance Park, including the iconic three-headed statue and the surrounding karst mountains, which are especially striking when lit up at night. That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. Because the hotel is directly across from Romance Park, there is noticeable noise from the park’s performances in the early evening (roughly 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM). Additionally, there is ongoing construction on the opposite side of the hotel. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it may be a consideration for anyone specifically seeking a very quiet, retreat-style stay. Overall, this is a beautifully designed, amenity-rich hotel with strong service and standout views—just go in knowing it’s in a lively area rather than a secluded one."

"We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff really went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of and comfortable. During check-in we got a free upgrade to a larger room with a better view. The entire room was spotless and cozy (we didn’t notice anything sus). We also got a llama chair friend in our room :3 The hotel also has a partnership that offers a driver service with a local driver/guide who drives you around the whole day (and helps you avoid tourist traps). We didnt know about this before arriving but it definitely made our trip a lot more smooth. Our driver 小徐 treated us like friends and was very eager to teach us about the history behind the places. The hotel also offers free breakfast which includes the local delicacy Guilin rice noodles, and afternoon tea. However, the dinner (separately ordered) was incredible, and was honestly really tasty. It was convenient having such a good restaurant inside the hotel itself. We were also surprised by the amount of little activities there were to do in the hotel, which included a petting zoo, photoshoots, and fishing (though we didn’t do this one)."

"We chose the Superhouse by the Li River because we had previously stayed at a resort by the Yulong River and were looking for a bit of variety – and it definitely did not disappoint. The property is truly impressive: a converted former factory with a spacious layout and many interesting buildings. It’s a highlight in itself, especially if you are interested in architecture and design. The view of the Li River is fantastic, and the pool is great as well – although it is not heated, so you need to be a bit brave in spring. The rooms are exceptional, with high-quality materials and a strong focus on design and detail – truly impressive. One small downside was the bar: even when it wasn’t very busy, the music was quite loud, even in the late afternoon. The drink selection was somewhat limited, and it seemed that the bartender was not extensively trained – but these are minor points. Dinner, on the other hand, was excellent – very high quality and absolutely enjoyable. The next morning, breakfast was also outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality – nothing was missing. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth recommending. The location is a bit remote, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere, but it also means you’ll usually need a Didi to reach other restaurants. However, that’s easy and inexpensive in China. A must-stop."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The service throughout the hotel was truly excellent, but we would especially like to highlight Tony, the butler. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay feel incredibly special. He anticipated every need with such warmth and professionalism – it’s rare to experience this level of service. We also loved the café. The coffee was absolutely delicious and quickly became one of our favorite little rituals during the stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are simply beautiful – elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt comfortable, calm, and very well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would happily return anytime. Thank you for such a memorable stay!"

"From the bottom of our hearts, we already miss being with you. During our stay, you were not just hotel staff – you became like a true family. The reception team, gate staff, golf car drivers, spa staff, housekeeping, and restaurant team (with the chef) all showed us endless kindness, smiles, and care. Every request, even through WeChat, was answered with patience and love. We never felt refused, and this gave us so much peace and happiness. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and truly felt like home away from home. Special thanks to the General Manager, whose leadership was clearly reflected in the warm hospitality and high standards of every staff member. It is rare to see a whole team so motivated and united to make guests feel at home. Because of you, we discovered the real heart of the Chinese people – their warmth, generosity, and beautiful smiles. This was our first visit to China, but certainly not the last. "Excellent location and breathtaking scene. We can see Yulong river and walk along the river. When taking the bamboo raft, we can return to the hotel via the raft. Recommend this hotel to everyone."

"Excellent hotel - location, pool and service! On arrival the lovely lady on reception advised us the room we had booked was probably not best for a family and changed our booking to a more suitable one. The new room was excellent and this moment of great customer service really had a positive impact on us. The hotel is in a brilliant location just on the edge of the very busy downtown/Xi Jie area, but still with plenty of restaurants, shops, ebike hire, etc. right outside the door. and only a very short walk to Xi Jie. It’s also on the river with lovely views of the river and mountains, especially from the pool area. We loved the pool area… gorgeous setting, big enough for fun and proper swimming and a sanctuary from the hustle, bustle and heat of Yangshou. After a days exploring it was a lovely thing to come back to for all the family."
