Located on the Bank of Lijiang River, the hotel is built according to the water. It's 4 minutes' walk from West Street. It's very convenient to Yulong River, Shili Gallery, Songcheng eternal love, 20 yuan RMB and bamboo raft. Parking facilities are available near the hotel, including conference room, coffee shop, western restaurant, small bar, viewing pool, wanghong viewing terrace, the most beautiful sunrise viewing angle of Yangshuo (the first bay of Lijiang River), bamboo rafts on the wharf, lights on the fishermen's house, and wanghong shooting scene, which records the wonderful time in Guilin.
"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well.
The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special.
The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room.
One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable.
The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed.
We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service.

It takes only 5 minutes to walk from the homestay to reach the entrances of the two major attractions. For tourists who want to play efficiently, this geographical location is perfect. No need to wake up early to catch a bus, and no need to worry about traffic congestion, easily start your travel itinerary. The guest rooms are a major highlight of the homestay, with natural wood and white as the main colors, creating a romantic and warm atmosphere. Different room types have their own characteristics, whether it's a king size bed room suitable for couples or a parent-child room that meets family needs, they are all decorated with great care. The veil gently hangs down, paired with fresh decorations, and every detail exudes delicacy. The bedding is made of high-quality fabric that is soft and skin friendly, making it feel like being wrapped in clouds when lying down. It can relieve a day's fatigue and provide a good night's sleep. Pushing open the window, the natural scenery of the 100 acre field comes into view without reservation. The lush greenery makes people feel at ease, and the photo here comes with a gentle filter, making every snap a stunning picture. The coffee shop is a healing corner in the homestay, and as soon as you walk in, the rich aroma of coffee hits your face. Not only is there a classic hand brewed coffee here, but there are also various options such as latte, cappuccino, etc. The afternoon sun shines through the glass window, and sitting in a comfortable seat, enjoying the scenery outside the window, is extremely comfortable, making it a great choice for rest and relaxation. The leisure facilities of the homestay are also very complete. The water quality of the swimming pool is clear, surrounded by green trees. The lounge chairs next to the pool are covered with soft cushions, and after swimming, you can lie on them and bask in the sun, which is very comfortable. The gym is open 24 hours a day and has complete equipment, which can meet the needs of both morning and evening exercises. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room, allowing visitors to wear clean clothes during their travels. In the early morning, while running on the boardwalk in the fields, one often encounters birds foraging, listening to their chirping, feeling the breeze, and feeling completely comfortable. "Such a great find! The staff here are so kind and helpful, and the location is gorgeous. Amazing views from the rooms, which are also very clean and spacious. We loved the smaller size of the village and being close to the countryside, but it's also super easy to get into Yangshuo with Didi or with one of their hired scooters. You can easily walk down to the Yulong River, via picturesque fields. Lots of nearby restaurants as well. 100% recommend!"

"We had a great stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a modern, design-forward hotel experience in the area. The rooms were a standout—extremely clean, thoughtfully designed, and very modern with a high-end feel. Everything felt new and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in right away.
Service was equally strong. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the quality, presentation, and variety were all impressive. It felt well-curated rather than generic, which you don’t always get with hotel buffets.
One of the most unique aspects of the property is its amenities. The hotel offers a range of experiences you don’t typically see—spaces for calligraphy, a rock climbing area, and even an on-site cave to explore. It adds a layer of character that makes the stay more memorable.
Design-wise, the hotel is beautifully executed. There’s a clear attention to detail across every floor, and the overall aesthetic feels intentional and cohesive. The pool and rooftop garden were highlights. Both offer incredible views overlooking Romance Park, including the iconic three-headed statue and the surrounding karst mountains, which are especially striking when lit up at night.
That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. Because the hotel is directly across from Romance Park, there is noticeable noise from the park’s performances in the early evening (roughly 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM). Additionally, there is ongoing construction on the opposite side of the hotel. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it may be a consideration for anyone specifically seeking a very quiet, retreat-style stay.
Overall, this is a beautifully designed, amenity-rich hotel with strong service and standout views—just go in knowing it’s in a lively area rather than a secluded one."

We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted.
We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel.
The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus!
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

DDellaLaOur stay at Sooan was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world.
As foreigners traveling through Yangshuo, we felt incredibly welcomed by the entire team. A special thank you to our butler Xiao Hui, who took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. He helped arrange transportation to nearby sights, answered all of our questions, and always made sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference.
We travel often and usually stay at five-star hotels, but this boutique property offered a level of warmth and personalized service that often surpasses larger luxury hotels. Sooan feels like a true retreat — quiet, intimate, and beautifully designed.
Some of the things we loved most:
• Waking up to the dramatic karst mountain scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows.
• Being away from crowded tourist areas while still surrounded by incredible nature.
• Walking directly from the property into yellow flower fields with paths leading to the riverside.
• Having river rafting just a short walk away.
• Spending time at the small ranch feeding the deer and pony.
• The genuine friendliness of both the hotel staff and the local community.
The architecture and interiors are stunning — a thoughtful blend of modern design and natural elements that fits perfectly with the landscape.
If you are looking for quiet luxury, beautiful surroundings, and warm, attentive service, Sooan is a perfect place to stay. We are very grateful to Xiao Hui and the entire team for making our visit so special.
Tip: If you require a restaurant onsite, please double check with the hotel first, as it was not open during our March visit. They only served breakfast and light snack daily.

BBwana SamThis is our 3rd visit to Yangshuo and our first time to try this hotel.
The staff are amazing. Attentive and customer focused. From before we arrived they were already keeping in touch with us to ensure we could get to them smoothly. On arrival they put a lot of effort into ensuring we had all the help we needed and knew all the local an activities and attractions. Day by day they kept us updated with events.
The hotel offers free shuttle between Yangshuo walking streets and their establishment which is very convenient. You must book in advance.
There are activities every afternoon engaging art and craft for both kids and adults. Very fun.
From 9pm there are free noodles served in the main dining area. Many guests enjoy this and take advantage. Definitely a great addition since you cannot get deliveries being this far away from town.
The room we booked was the 2 bedroom cloud residence. An amazing room.This is incredibly big and spacious with a king bed in the main living room area shielded off by a curtain where one of our kids slept. The main bedroom is massive and has the circular bed in the middle. A rollaway double bed was also setup in here for our little one and this worked out fine.
There is an outdoor patio with a staircase that goes up to the roof with 360° panoramic views of the area - you cannot beat this view in other hotels nearby.
We found the room was very cold at night as the central heating was only blowing cold air. So we turned it off and it was slightly more bearable. I would have given 5 starts if the heating worked better. Apart from this the Julong Town Resort Hotel is amazing. Giving a better service and attention level than many of this big name establishments.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäLocation isWe stayed 2 nights at Bo Yangshuo Hotel. The location is very convenient, right at the start/end of West Street (西街), making it easy to walk around while still being slightly away from the noise.
We booked a family room with a bunk bed, which was comfortable and suitable for families. Overall, everything was good and well-maintained.
One downside worth highlighting is that the toilet glass partition has been removed, so sounds from flushing, hand washing, and showering are quite loud. The bed head is located just above the toilet area, so it can be disturbing at night. Also, when using the bathtub, be careful as water may splash onto the bed area.
Aside from this issue, our stay was pleasant and the location is a big plus, especially for first-time visitors to Yangshuo.

The owner greeted us when we arrived and shared her extensive knowledge of tea while pouring us endless delicious cups. She also recommended places to hike and eat. The rooms are lovely, super comfortable beds with stunning views. The amenities are wonderful, a beautiful pool in a tranquil courtyard, hot-tubs upon request, discounted tickets to numerous local attractions, and an excellent breakfast - to name a few. There are also cocktails served in your room from 8pm to midnight. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling and offering drinks or snacks. We loved every minute here and I would have liked to stay forever.
While it is outside of town, don’t let that deter you. Yangshuo proper is a short Didi ride away. The hotel also has electric scooters for rent, which are great fun to zip about on. There are many lovely restaurants just a few minutes away, especially the farmer’s restaurant across the street and Lulu’s restaurant just a short distance down the road. (Try the 苦瓜 - bitter gourd stuffed with pork - it’s AMAZING!!!) Give this beautiful hotel a try, you won’t regret it!

VVieraskäyttäjäWe chose the Superhouse by the Li River because we had previously stayed at a resort by the Yulong River and were looking for a bit of variety – and it definitely did not disappoint.
The property is truly impressive: a converted former factory with a spacious layout and many interesting buildings. It’s a highlight in itself, especially if you are interested in architecture and design.
The view of the Li River is fantastic, and the pool is great as well – although it is not heated, so you need to be a bit brave in spring.
The rooms are exceptional, with high-quality materials and a strong focus on design and detail – truly impressive.
One small downside was the bar: even when it wasn’t very busy, the music was quite loud, even in the late afternoon. The drink selection was somewhat limited, and it seemed that the bartender was not extensively trained – but these are minor points.
Dinner, on the other hand, was excellent – very high quality and absolutely enjoyable. The next morning, breakfast was also outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality – nothing was missing.
Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth recommending. The location is a bit remote, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere, but it also means you’ll usually need a Didi to reach other restaurants. However, that’s easy and inexpensive in China.
A must-stop.

AAlberta FilaferroThis is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

22morrowsworldSplit duplex room near roof. Upper and lower levels separated by a narrow spiral staircase. The The upper floor contains a king bed, air conditioning unit and large balcony.
Balcony opens out to expansive view of Yangshuo town, Xijie and karst topography. Lower floor has a clothes cabinet, tea set and kettle. The bathroom is also on lower section.
Bathroom is equipped with a non slip floor in the shower cubicle that has a partial glass partition. A very secluded unit which sits above the fifth floor restaurant. Perhaps a little inconvenient that toilet/bathroom are separated from bedroom, but pretty good value considering the low tariff (only 120 RMB per night).
