"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well. The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

"We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!"

"We celebrated my child’s birthday and chose this hotel due to the quiet location. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality from all the staff working there. I don’t remember all their names but every staff had a huge smile and were super helpful to all of our needs. The restaurant staff even surprised us with a free dessert for my kid’s birthday! The bed was extremely comfortable (hard mattress) and the showers were good. We had heating in the rooms since we visited during winter season and so glad we had heating as it was very cold in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here an we will come back again in the future."

"Outside of the hotel is old but inside is new and clean. Our room, although didn’t have the whole view in the pictures because of a new hotel constructed just in front, from the side, it was still beautiful, especially taking into consideration the affordable price for such a nice room. The service with English speaking and super helpful personnel was perfect. The coffee in the morning was delicious as well as the huge breakfast (although it was the same the two mornings). The sunset views from the pool at the terrace were magic. The hotel also helped us to book Sanjie Liu light show with very good seating (B2 zone) at the price of the cheapest tickets which makes a huge discount, so if you want to watch this show make sure to book from the hotel. However for daily scooter rental, the place next to hotel is more expensive than all the others around, so better to check around first. If you want to rent normal bicycles just walk 500m to Giggling Tree hotel reception, they will arrange it."

"A Perfect, Peaceful Stay with Amazingly Helpful Staff. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's located in a quiet part of Yangshuo, which was perfect for us—peaceful yet still convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and neat. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace, which has a really amazing view. Next time, we'll book a balcony room for sure! What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They are incredibly helpful and do their utmost to communicate and solve any issues. Their standout moment was helping us arrange a private car during the busy Spring Festival holiday at a very good price, which was a lifesaver. They also helped us hire e-bikes easily. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Yangshuo. Highly recommended!"

"We had a great stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a modern, design-forward hotel experience in the area. The rooms were a standout—extremely clean, thoughtfully designed, and very modern with a high-end feel. Everything felt new and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in right away. Service was equally strong. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the quality, presentation, and variety were all impressive. It felt well-curated rather than generic, which you don’t always get with hotel buffets. One of the most unique aspects of the property is its amenities. The hotel offers a range of experiences you don’t typically see—spaces for calligraphy, a rock climbing area, and even an on-site cave to explore. It adds a layer of character that makes the stay more memorable. Design-wise, the hotel is beautifully executed. There’s a clear attention to detail across every floor, and the overall aesthetic feels intentional and cohesive. The pool and rooftop garden were highlights. Both offer incredible views overlooking Romance Park, including the iconic three-headed statue and the surrounding karst mountains, which are especially striking when lit up at night. That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. Because the hotel is directly across from Romance Park, there is noticeable noise from the park’s performances in the early evening (roughly 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM). Additionally, there is ongoing construction on the opposite side of the hotel. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it may be a consideration for anyone specifically seeking a very quiet, retreat-style stay. Overall, this is a beautifully designed, amenity-rich hotel with strong service and standout views—just go in knowing it’s in a lively area rather than a secluded one."
