"very good service, staff even helped to order delivery as we were unable to do so without a china phone number. the hotel had beautiful view!!! breakfast was not bad, but the items are the same everyday. hotel also provided free upgrade to the stargazing room which was huge and comfortable. awesome stay!! only thing is that there is no microwave."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very peaceful. We stayed on the sixth floor, and the view was amazing. The roads are narrow, but that’s to be expected because the property is near the fields and river pathway. There are also many Instagrammable places nearby; you can walk or rent a bike or e-bike. The homestay staff are very accommodating and helpful — they helped me book tickets and transportation for guilin tours. I recommend this homestay, and if I come back, I’ll book it again. even the fire exit view is amazing ! 🤣"

"We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!"

"Amazing service, from the get go, upgraded my room. Then I spoke with Nini the receptionist and she gave me tips and suggestions on what to do. Not only that got me discounts, stayed in contact with me even when she was off work, and wasn’t obligated too; absolutely amazing and lovely people. The room was lovely had a bidet toilet like Japan, I was missing those. Beautiful view too!"

"We stayed in Yangshuo, China, at the Waterside Boutique Hotel by the river. The staff were very friendly and highly customer-oriented. We booked a room with a panoramic view, and the scenery from our window was absolutely fantastic, overlooking the mountains and the river. We could even watch the rafting from our room. The river itself was just two minutes from the hotel, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. It was a wonderful place, with fresh air and very kind, pleasant people all around. At the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially a young woman named Minnie, who speaks excellent English. We saw her every day, and she was always available to help us with translation and any assistance we needed. Whenever we wanted to visit local attractions, she immediately offered to arrange transportation, purchase tickets, and even helped us book and buy tickets to Ruyi Peak at a lower price than we would have paid ourselves at the ticket office. Thanks to her help, we even saved 60 yuan. We are truly delighted that we chose to stay at this hotel and visit Yangshuo. We would like to sincerely thank Minnie for her hospitality, as well as the entire staff for their excellent service. We have such wonderful memories from our stay. We truly hope to return to this hotel and to Yangshuo again with our friends and family. Everything was simply perfect."

"This hotel directly overlooks the picturesque Li River where you can witness the fishermen's bamboo rafts with their cormorants anchored to the promenade. It's a popular spot for tourists in their hired period costumes trying to achieve the most photogenic shot of Yangshuo's world-renowned karst mountains. The hotel's roof terrace on the fifth floor offers uninterrupted vistas of this stunning landscape. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great value for its price and comes highly recommended. The hotel rooms are spacious and even those which face inwards look out to a leafy courtyard with pretty fountains. The staff, from the chambermaids to the lady at the guest laundry, were all super helpful. Special thanks to Maya/沫沫 at the front desk who devised an excellent itinerary for our private excursion with a driver. Equally outstanding was Lacey/橙子, also at the reception. She was very accommodating to the multiple requests of hotel guests, and in a truly earnest rather than perfunctory manner. Both of them are assets to the service industry. The hotel's attention to detail in terms of its interior design is laudable : the concept of Yangshuo's landscape is visually captured throughout the hotel - from the nameplate at its entrance to the signage of the room numbers, they all feature symbolic silhouettes of those iconic karst mountains and the fishermen with their cormorants. One suggestion to the hotel's management is for them to provide an English language news channel on their television : in view of the increasing foreign clientele, it is indeed glaring that even their national CGTN news channel is not available."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations from the very first moment. The view was simply breathtaking — the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows across three large sections were truly something special and unforgettable. We spent an amazing time here with my wife, enjoying the calm atmosphere and the beautiful design of the room. The bathtub was fantastic, perfect for relaxing, and the projector added a really cozy, cinematic touch to our evenings. The combination of comfort, style, and that incredible panoramic view made our stay truly memorable. We felt relaxed, happy, and fully enjoyed every moment. "Had a wonderful stay in this hotel; very impressive, I have to say. The ladies hosting us were very friendly and helpful in all aspects. The fact that they don't speak English was not a blocker whatsoever, since we had very pleasant communication using a translator. She also gave us some great tips. I want to highlight a few things that were important for me and my wife: - The impressive cleanliness of this hotel; everything was sparkling. - Breakfast was mainly noodles, which I loved, but if you're not a person that enjoys noodles for breakfast, perhaps you'd want to miss it. Also, you have a limited number of coffees per stay, which is very odd since coffee is usually free and unlimited at any hotel breakfast. - A washing machine in the room; this is a lifesaver when you are traveling for weeks. - The girls managing the hotel are so friendly and awesome. - Walking distance from a plenty of restaurants and the river"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The service throughout the hotel was truly excellent, but we would especially like to highlight Tony, the butler. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay feel incredibly special. He anticipated every need with such warmth and professionalism – it’s rare to experience this level of service. We also loved the café. The coffee was absolutely delicious and quickly became one of our favorite little rituals during the stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are simply beautiful – elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt comfortable, calm, and very well maintained.
