Our stay started off a little bit chaotic, as the AC in our room is broken and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom. Also we had a late check-out as we needed to sleep more however the cleaner disrupted our sleep. After this we spoke with the manager and she was very kind and made up for many of the issues that we had during our stay. - Note: The hot springs are great! many different pools and not too busy when we arrived.

I stayed here with a friend during our year-end trip to Dalian, and I couldn't have been happier with our experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made our stay completely comfortable with no inconveniences whatsoever. I would definitely consider returning in the future. The breakfast was excellent, and the ocean view from our room was stunning!

Most of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here. I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment. The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone. The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese. There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt. The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space. The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel. There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee. The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality. There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

The breakfast was super delicious and mouth watering. 4.The staffs are super kind and speaks English really well. 5.The lobby is very fantastic. 6.The spa was fantastic and worth to try. 7. Location is SUPERB 8.Room services were TIP-TOP. 9. They prepare premium celebration for my anniversary. ( special request) 1000000/10 NEW WORLD DALIAN IS WORTH FOR MONEY!♡ Surely will be back.

Very nice hotel well situated, the room is big, new, very clean with a nice view on the Xinhai Square. Very convenient facilities, i recommend the hotel for a week end in Dalian

The experience at this hotel was good my daughter was so happy with the Balala fairy room she enjoyed herself so much, and many thanks to **** for checking up on us as we left the hotel, we loved the atmosphere the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the F&B manager went out of his way to make sure that we sat comfortably and we were served exceptionally well, whenever we come back to Dalian for our next vacation this hotel will be definitely be one of our choice among the many hotels that we will book 😀 I enjoyed my stay, and the reception stuff was very warm and friendly, the bed was absolutely comfortable considering the we traveled for well over 16 hours from our city. I definitely had a relaxed night. My husband rested well, and he was at ease.

Very good, polite, friendly service. Rooms in one wing of the hotel are very spacious and more fresh than in another one. Decent breakfast. Convenient central location with the local food street right next to it and other sightseeing spots in a walking distance. Nice price to quality option. Definitely recommend.

Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether.

What a wonderful place. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The pool was a nice size (my kids love swimming) and the gym wasn't too badly equipped. The family room was awesome. The kids beds where a little bit hard but not the worst. There is a McDonald's and Burger King close by and you are not too far from Russian Street. The only thing they don't have is free parking. All and all very satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future.

I booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for the National Day holiday. I know he likes being surrounded by nature since we live in the city. I also thought we would try playing golf (we didn't). We had a great time and even when we left the hotel for another hotel, my boyfriend wanted to go back. Pros 1. The bedroom was huge! 2. The scenery is breathtaking. 3. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 4. The food was delicious. Cons 1. The bedroom wasn't super clean. We found rat pellets by the window (at least that's what my boyfriend says. I think it could be lizards) 2. There are lots of activities that seem to be inactive due to renovations (possibly due to the covid era) but it seems they are working on restorations. All in all. I would definitely go back and when this hotel is in it's prime, it will be even more amazing!
