"We lived at this hotel in their apartments in 2001/2002, and it was interesting to come back and visit. It is perfectly located in the city and the staff are wonderful. The rooms are now older but have great views and are clean, tidy, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is extensive - Chinese, Japanese, and Western options. There's an excellent hot pot restaurant across the road!"

"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"Most of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here. I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment. The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone. The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese. There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt. The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space. The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel. There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee. The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality. There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas."

"Great ski and hot spring experience; resort was not even overcrowded in Dec! Have to say the only thing lacking is public transport but we got help from its staff who was kind enough to arrange their employee shuttle bus to city on my departure day at 5 pm. Only costed us RMB 30 per pax. She is a great host indeed!"

"This hotel served more than expected . 1.The room is super huge 2. Neat and spotless 3. The breakfast was super delicious and mouth watering. 4.The staffs are super kind and speaks English really well. 5.The lobby is very fantastic. 6.The spa was fantastic and worth to try. 7. "Our stay started off a little bit chaotic, as the AC in our room is broken and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom. Also we had a late check-out as we needed to sleep more however the cleaner disrupted our sleep. After this we spoke with the manager and she was very kind and made up for many of the issues that we had during our stay. - Note: The hot springs are great! many different pools and not too busy when we arrived."

"定的是庭院雙卧房，小院子比普通庭院大一半。 帶了個三歲的寶寶和長者。 長者住雙床，我們一家住2米的大床。 兩個卧室是聯通的，從雙床房進入左邊有一扇門進去就是大床房的房間。 有兩套獨立的衞浴和兩個浴缸。 衞生還好，裝修風格比大床房新一些，想着還可以讓小朋友在院子裏玩兒所以沒單獨定兩間房。 mini動物園:有兔子，黑天鵝，鹿，山羊，猴子等等小動物，提前在家買好了胡蘿蔔青菜，可以喂。 因為第二天下雨沒去門口的五坊和小黑山。 温泉：第一天去了，第二天沒有去了，原因是第二天如果去，要10點前退房後拿票去不是很方便。 還有就是温泉區市外池就7-8個，其中有兩個還是閑置了，2個是常温水很涼。 剩下的室外池子人多，室內綜合泳池很適合小朋友，有兩個滑梯。大人的大泳池水涼，然後味道有點刺鼻。室內温泉池也有不少，但是室內空氣沒有市外好。如果帶小朋友來玩兒一會兒還是可以的。 水區晚上沒有點菜吃飯的地方，好像有火鍋自助。 回酒店餐廳點餐吃的。 附近的自然風光還是不錯的。"
