"Artotel is totally my cup of tea ☕️🎨 From the moment I walked in, I was like, “Okay… this place gets me.” The whole hotel feels like a mini art museum — with specially curated artwork by local artists and even a gallery right in the lobby. If I’m not mistaken, it looks like live band performances can take place in the lobby too. Honestly, I half expected to accidentally walk into an exhibition opening instead of checking in. The vibes? Immaculate. Creative, quirky, and just the right amount of “I’m cooler than your average hotel.” Also… can we talk about the mysterious gifts? 👀 It was my mom’s birthday during our stay, and she kept finding little surprises in the room. We’re not 100% sure if it’s part of a birthday special or if Artotel just enjoys spoiling guests (not complaining either way 😂). Overall, 10/10 would stay again — for the art, the vibes, and the possibility of more surprise goodies. 🎁"

"Hotel Santika offers a great location and excellent service. The staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. What truly deserves special mention is their thoughtful breakfast service. Breakfast is available from 6:00am to 10:00am, but I had an early ferry at 6:00am and couldn’t make it. The staff offered a takeaway option, and the team kindly arranged to prepare my breakfast early at 5:00am. I honestly expected the request might be overlooked, but they exceeded my expectations. To my surprise, everything was carefully packed: a box of bread and a bento set with the fried rice I requested, along with some fried fish, cutlery, and a bottle of drinking water. The attention to detail was impressive and made my morning so much easier. It was a genuinely pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely return if I’m staying in Batam again. "This is my favourite hotel to stay whenever I visit Batam Location is excellent with less than 5 mins walk along the covered walkway from Harbour Bay ferry to hotel without being subjected to hot sun or rain. Within 10 mins walk are a stretch of restaurants from seafood to fusion and bistro concepts Staffs from security, reception and service crew from Cirtuz Restaurant which serves amazing buffet breakfast to even the housekeeping crew are polite, helpful and friendly Only wish that there is at least a half panel at the shower area to prevent water from splashing out of the shower area"

"Concierge service is excellent! Service staffs in the hotel are really helpful and attentive. The room worth the price, water heater is working well, water pressure is excellent. The edges (especially the floor, door and wall) might need some maintenance. Their mattress is great and comfy, just the pillows can be better. Breakfast is well served in great display and varieties. The most important thing is ”GOOD LOCATION”! walkable to Grand Batam Mall & BCS."

"Happy with the stay，smaller but compact. All staffs are so friendly with the security. We have bought some Amanda Cakes around and there was no fridge in hotel but we request to keep in their fridge and all went fine. No hair dryer ready but you can call and request from the receptionist."

"Price is reasonable and affordable. 3 star but feels like 4 star. Strategic place to stay, very close to the entertainment and outlet. Got so many local stall surrounding. Recommended! Will repeat again."
