"I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. I would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!"

"Huone on puhdas ja hyvin ylläpidetty. Daikin ilmastointi on viileä mutta hieman meluisa.. En ole varma, onko se vettä tai lämmitys mutta suihku on melko seikkailu. Olen erityisen tyytyväinen konserttiin ja oveihin - ne ovat fab, ystävällisiä ja miellyttävää. Kaapissa on turvakaapissa. Olisi mukavaa, jos heillä olisi hiilipussi absorboida kaikki hajut vaatteista yö ulos A2 ruokakeskus alle 300 metrin päässä BCH."

"Check in was a breeze. Very thoughtful service by staff to plan the decor and celebration of our Anniversary! This is what truly stands out for Swiss-Bel as compared to other big & new hotels in Batam, though the hotel is much older and needs some refurbishment especially the toilet with some unpleasant smells. Food buffet is not bad and rather delicious but variety across days can be further improved and they can consider serving Indomie for breakfast buffet! Kudos once again to the thoughtfulness of the customer service enjoyed in our stay!"

"Pros: The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff. Cons: No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets. Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing. Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy."

"water leaking very badly at master bedroom ceiling. Called reception to check for upper unit , but sent house keeper to room instead. Informed house keeper Ahemad to check with upper unit , nothing was done, whole night water leaking from ceiling non stop till daytime still leaking. Cockroaches seen on the dining table, toilet bowl , toilets floors, shelfs"

"Pls olla huolellinen Hotel vaatii talletus 100k IDR. Kun tarkistaa ulos, hotelli tarkistaa huoneen ensin ennen kuin saat talletuksen takaisin. Tarvitset odottaa noin 10min. Voit sanoa halpaa hotellia 2 aamiaista vain noin rm125 per yö. Valitsin tämän hotellin bcos saapui Batam yöaika, joten ei tarvitse fantastinen hotelli hehe. Hotelli ei ole ostoskoneet hotelli, koko rakennus on hotelli. yöllä melko meluisa, ei ole varma, miksi, ehkä siellä on tapahtuma baletti hotelli. Toilettihuone on keskimäärin ( melko hajuinen ehkä bcos vanha hotelli), ei sovellu fussy henkilö. Sama menee sänkyyn ja vuodelehti. Mutta huone on niin tilava ja on kiblat merkki (muslim rukouksen). Aamiainen leviää myös keskimäärin, sopii, jos et syö paljon. Mutta silti on munia. Nasi goreng, mehon goreng, viljat, myös. Yleensä vielä OK, jos jäät 1 yö."

"Everything is good, we went there for 4 days 3 night, they gave us 3 days Starbuck voucher, the location is the best to us as we like Grand Batam Mall alot, just 3 to 5mins to walk there, the food is also quite nice to us"

"My gf and me stayed here for our Batam trip last weekend. When we first entered our non-smoking room, there was a twinge of vape smell lingering in the air. The room was well spaced out with many useful amenities such as furniture, drinking water, kettle, etc. I find the wall shelf by the TV a nice and useful addition. Our TV doesn’t have Netflix but carry some local channels as well as CNA. Although the few electrical sockets in the room are universal adaptors, they feel a bit loose when plugged in. Aircon and bathroom amenities such as water pressure and hot shower all work smoothly. Our window overlooks the immediate neighbourhood and the room is relatively quiet throughout the stay. Sadly, I didn’t use their Wifi so can’t really comment on that. The hotel’s breakfast buffet had limited variety but the quality was good. The hotel is also at a convenient location within walking distance of two big malls, so plenty of food and entertainment! All the staff we encountered in this hotel was super friendly and helpful. We only had one keycard given to us during check-in so when I was accidentally stuck downstairs without a card, the lady at the concierge quickly made me a new one so I could get back to my room. The day after checking out of the hotel, I realised I lost my beloved earpods and whatsapp-ed the hotel in the slim hope of finding it back. Within minutes, I got a message from the concierge, accompanied with a picture of my lost item! I shall definitely return to stay with them again very soon ^^"

"Arrived and checked in and served lemongrass drink as welcome drink. The hotel reception got us a free upgrade to the beachfront for our honeymoon stay and gave us honeymoon decoration based on my request. The hotel view is so good, room is comfy, room toilet is clean, emerald pool is good, breakfast had a lot of options, was expecting coffee machine but unfortunately don’t have. Generally satisfied. Called reception for pickup to lobby. Able to call Gojek to back to city during our checkout."
