"I did not like my view and also requested quiet room, my room was on the lowest 2nd floor, close to the street where the motorbikes go up and down to the town. I asked, if they had other room available, the answer was - “no, that was what I payed for”. Even when I have seen they have rooms with any guests.
After that, I did not really want to boder with any question.
if I would know, I would book only for 1night and would prolong it, or not.. In Sapa, there are plenty of options. I did not had any problem in other part of the Vietnam and I traveled from Ho Chi Minh up north from place to place.
Other thing, as I stayed 3 night, I was expecting to get some room service, but that did not happen whole my stay. (meaning take of the trash, or feel up the soap, toilet paper)
The plus was when I arrived, recieved the tea and when I left I got bag with water and bananas."

"We stayed 3 nights in the Grand Room with Mountain View during the winter season. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There is hot water available 24/7 to warm our souls in the cold weather. The huge bath tub was also a bonus. Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and toothbrush/paste and bedroom slippers are also provided.
The location of the hotel is superb. Sun Plaza is probably 7 to 8 mins walk away from the hotel (with some slope going up) but it is very manageable. There are many outdoor gear shops, good restaurants and massage parlours around the area and within walking distance (some as close as 1 to 2 mins of walking).
Breakfast is served in typical buffet style and included some local dishes. Nothing very fancy but definitely good enough to fill your stomachs. The infinity pool is just right beside the restaurant and offers a very good view of the mountains.
The hotel staff are all very friendly and the front desk speaks perfect english. They are always ready to serve your needs and you can arrange tours/spas with them.
Overall, this hotel is definitely worth every penny spent and we would definitely recommend it!"

"Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel – Excellent Location & Outstanding Staff
I recently stayed at Pao Sapa Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—right beside Moana Sapa and just a few kilometers from Cat Cat Village, making sightseeing very convenient. The town is also within walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious with a beautiful valley view, and the breakfast was delicious.
The language barrier can be challenging, but the reception staff always have someone who speaks English. Katie, in particular, was extremely helpful. She assisted us with planning our Fansipan trip and booking tickets, and the hotel staff maintain a group chat to update guests on peak weather conditions, which is very useful.
During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working and the room became humid after a long day out. Communication was difficult at first, but Katie responded to our message even after office hours and helped resolve the issue, allowing us to rest comfortably.
Kudos to Katie and the team for their dedication and excellent service. I highly recommend Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel for its prime location, spacious rooms, and outstanding staff support."

We had issue with the shower as the water was going down slowly, informed receptionist twice on the matters but it was not resolved till the third time.
The in-house massage was average as my masseur was talking n using her phone."

"We are a group of 10 travelers and stayed one night in Stella.
It's a new hotel and rooms are well maintained. Free wifi and bottled water provided. It's located near the Sapa (night) market and there is also a local supermarket nearby where you can do last-minute shopping. A wide variety of dining choices and cafes (incl. Cong Caphe) nearby.
Can't ask for more with this price, and breakfast was unexpectedly good with egg station together with tasty pho.
Front desk staff Martin and Chan were very friendly and heartfully assisted us in various aspects during our stay. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage when we moved to a homestay in Ta Van village the next day, and also secured our tickets for our bus trip back to Hanoi. Both of them can speak very good English and there was no communication issues at all. Thanks to their helpfulness we completed our trip smoothly.

호텔은 크지 않지만 시설이 깨끗하고 친절은 말할것도 없고 젊은 친구 영어에 능숙해 소통에 어려움 없었으며 터미널 전통시장 야시장 맛사지샾 식당 카페가 주위에 있으며 사파시내도 지도상 떨어져 있어 보여도 호수길보며 10분정도만 걸으면 갈수있어 굳이 중심가에 있는 비싼 호텔에 갈 필요를 못느꼈음, 시내에서 이틀 숙박했지만 다음에 가면 조용한 이곳에서 로컬을 즐기며 지내고 싶다
2만원도 안되는 숙박에 조식까지 ~~
특히 나홀로 여행객들 꼭 묵어 보시면 후회 하지 않을 것같다"

"From the moment I arrived, this hotel exceeded all my expectations from luxurious rooms, elegant décor, plush bedding, and calming tones made for a perfect retreat. The room was spotlessly clean and the view from the balcony was speechless. Well-equipped wellness amenities, a serene spa with hot and cold jacuzzi, a huge steam room, sauna and a refreshing heated swimming pool over looking the mountains.
What truly set this stay apart was the hotel’s client ambassador Ms Alissa, a genuinely attentive professional who acted like a personal concierge throughout my stay who provides proactive updates on local tourist conditions and attend to my needs be it arranging for high tea and booking of spa services. Each day, I received timely briefings on weather patterns and conditions at nearby tourist spots. This insightful information helped me plan my outings with confidence. Last but not least, the GM, Steven Tan was so warm, ensuring the guest are comfortable during breakfast time. He is from Singapore by the way and had been running the resort for 8 years. Great job Steven!!

The hotel’s ambiance was welcoming and polished striking the ideal balance between luxury and comfort. The facilities made it easy to unwind, stay active, and explore the tourist place with confidence. The client ambassador’s attentive, almost personal-concierge approach elevated the stay from excellent to unforgettable. I left with wonderful memories and a strong sense of having experienced truly thoughtful hospitality and will surely come back again later this year to explore places that I have did not visit."

"Hotel was very nice and clean and modern. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. Hotel was a little far to walk from city center because weather was so cold and wet and it was uphill but it was very easy to get an electric car or taxi. Staff always ready to help even beyond their job. Shoutout especially to David for helping me with my problem with my next booking. Thanks so much. We really enjoyed our stay."

SSGSMRoom: Mountain view room with balcony. Room was cosy, clean n very confortable. The view was fantastic too.
Service: Staff were all very helpful and courteous. It's a local hotel operated by a family. They were all super friendly n helpful, making our stay felt very welcomed from start tp end.
Location: Superb! Right outside you will find eateries, massage/spas, shopping, cinvenience stores etc.
Eventhough the hotel was right in a busy area, rooms were all designed facing the mountain making it perfect, tranquil n quiet.

the answer so far: twice. and we brought our tour groups both times.
now, the honest part: GETTING THERE is an ordeal. first time — sleeping bus from hanoi. the driver treated mountain serpentines like a personal vendetta. not an experience i’d repeat. second time — luxury minivans from halong bay. six-plus hours. our guests arrived exhausted, slightly broken, questioning their life choices.
and then they walked into the lobby.
worth it. every kilometer.

what makes de la coupole genuinely special is that the difficult access functions as a FILTER. the guests who make it there want to be there. that changes the energy of the whole place.

VVieraskäyttäjäLady hill is an excellent resort with every request catered for. Rooms are fantastic and view is certainly mesmerising. I unfortunately had an injury in Sapa, however the resort really looked after our needs throughly. Breakfast spread is delightful especially with the sunrise so be sure to arrive early to catch a view. I am truly grateful to Joseph the resteraunt manager, all reception staff and nurse for giving us a caring and amazing stay over Christmas.

Great selection of food and wonderful ala carte breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs were so so good! The beef soup as well 👍

Location is great! Not too far from city, yet far enough for peace and quiet. Near the rice fields, amazing views and fresh air. Near the alpine coaster.
Massage was great too. A lil pricey but so convenient and worth it.
The overall vibe was fantastic and relaxing. Definitely coming back here again despite some of the negatives below.
Negatives:
Insects everywhere! On the bed too! No bed bugs, that's clean. But due to the location and how each house is built, tons of little flying insects. The mosquito net helps keep most of the insects off the bed so we kept it open over the bed.
Not so much privacy as the porch and tub had direct view of another room's porch.. Might have gotten exposed once or twice... we did ask for a private room but were placed right next to the pool deck.
The dining place mats were dirty and re-used. They ignored the dirty spots and just placed the utensil on the mats. I had to wipe my utensils clean and placed them over serviettes instead.
Too many steps 😅 we checked in after a 2d1n hike up Fansipan so our thighs were screaming with each step up and down within the Hotel compound.
Overall, definitely a 9.5/10 stay!

The spa service was a little expensive compared to local street options, but everything else was perfect. You can store your luggage early, and they even have a washroom with hot shower facilities where you can freshen up, brush, and change before check-in.
The place feels very safe. The staff were friendly and helpful — they assisted us in renting a bike and booking our Fansipan trip directly from the hotel, so we didn’t have to search around or queue elsewhere.
Overall, the best stay we’ve had — highly recommended!

- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.

The service of restaurant is very good and the manager is meticulous. Surprisingly a simple dish fried rice also taste very good but the fish was bit undercooked.
Infinity pool is cool pity that the weather was too cold, couldn't enjoy the infinity pool.
Massage skill is not very good, miscommunication between the reception and spa caused me wasting time (first time the receptionist told me ok to go at a timing but in fact fully booked, wasted my trip down and waited for 15 mins while nobody was around at the reception of spa; second time the masseur was late for almost 25 minutes)
The masseur was having cough but did not wear mask.

FF**EPretty basic Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. If you're here for the View, then yes you get a pretty good view. On a clear day, you'll see beautiful rolling hills. On the day that we checked out, it was a misty day (winter), and it's interesting to see the clouds of mist literally rolling in and obliterating all view past 100m.
The hotel itself is relatively clean although, as I've noticed as a second time now, the drinking cups are not washed. I brought soap powder and sponge with me, so I was able to clean the kettle and cups.
The quadruple room we booked was fairly spacious, with a tiny balcony for the view.
Linen smells nice. Sink was a little choked. Floor was slightly dusty, but maybe it's because there is construction going on next door. Which was a real bummer. We came in early Dec 2025, and the building meant incessant drilling and hammering just next door, all day long. We were hoping for a serene stay but the noise was a real disappointment.
Otherwise, it's fair value for money if you're on a budget and you want a view. Location wise, it's a 15min uphill walk to town along very narrow walkways shared with vehicle traffic, but it's not a bad walk. Food is easily available, and I highly recommend egg coffee :)

YYeh YI would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise.
From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful.
The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations.
On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable.
We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.
