From the moment we stepped into the hotel reception, we knew we’d made the right choice. The brand-new property, adorned with lovely pastel tones, exuded a contemporary and fresh vibe that instantly lifted our spirits. Our room was spotlessly clean and wonderfully comfortable. The efficient layout maximized the space so well that it felt much larger than expected—a clever design that left us truly impressed. Despite the hotel’s prime location in the heart of the city, the room was blissfully quiet. One thoughtful feature we especially appreciated was the self-service laundry facility. The machines were top-notch, making it incredibly easy to freshen up our clothes mid-trip. The hotel location is what truly sets this hotel apart. Situated right on Zhongjie Pedestrian Street, we were steps away from all the action, with iconic attractions like Mukden Palace and Zhang Mansion just a short walk away. Evenings were a highlight for us—taking the escalator down from the hotel and immediately stepping into the vibrant street atmosphere was such a treat. This hotel offers incredible value for money, seamlessly combining comfort, convenience, and a prime location. It’s a gem we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the area—we couldn’t have asked for more!

Excellent boutique hotel with thoughtful room amenities and hotel facilities.  Friendly concierge and room service staff. Location is relatively central and is serviced by metro (~700m) and buses. Clean and well maintained.  I would recommend others to stay here when visiting Shenyang.

The use of light colors and minimalistic furniture created an open and airy feel, setting a positive tone for my entire stay. My room was a haven of cleanliness. Every surface, from the floors to the tabletops, was immaculately clean. The bedding was soft and fresh, and the pillows provided just the right amount of support. The bathroom was equally spotless, with modern fixtures and a well - maintained shower area. It was evident that the hotel staff took great pride in keeping the premises clean. However, the real standout feature of this hotel is its airport drop - off service. I had an early - morning flight, and I was dreading the hassle of finding transportation at such an ungodly hour. But thanks to Yunshangju's reliable drop - off service, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The service was prompt, and the driver was friendly and professional. They made sure I reached the airport in plenty of time for my flight, allowing me to start my journey with peace of mind. In conclusion, if you're looking for a clean, modern, and conveniently located hotel near Shenyang Taoxian Airport, Yunshangju Hotel (Shenyang Taoxian Airport Branch) is an excellent choice. I recently stayed at the Yicheng Hotel (Shenyang North Railway Station Subway Station Branch) and was thoroughly impressed. This hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and modern amenities, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The location is unbeatable—it’s right in front of Shenyang North Railway Station and just steps away from the subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Whether you’re arriving by train or exploring Shenyang, the hotel’s prime location ensures a stress-free stay. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a spacious and luxurious reception area that sets the tone for the rest of the property. The room was equally impressive, featuring a sleek and contemporary design with cozy furnishings. I particularly loved the voice-activated controls for the lights, curtains, AC, and TV—it added a touch of innovation and convenience that made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight. The spread was extensive, offering a mix of European and Chinese options, all fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day, whether I was heading out for meetings or exploring the city. Overall, the Yicheng Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Shenyang. Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE. Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

This hotel is amazing! The staff was very attentive, especially Eric Jin, the manager of the concierge department, who helped me solve my personal problems and other travel questions very well. He took the initiative to attack, which exceeded my expectations. I often fly and travel all over the world, and this manager stands out among the many people I have come into contact with over the years. He is definitely a pearl of Shenyang. This manager is definitely a valuable asset of a Swiss hotel. With his way of thinking and motivation, he will be very successful in the future. Very, very touching. Thank you Eric Jin and the Swiss hotel team, I will come again.

I booked the hotel off season and it was a really good money for value ratio. The staff was friendly and helpful when approached with requests etc. It is quite convenient that there is a coffeeshop located in the lobby with wifi, power sockets etc, ideal for a chill work break in between traveling.

Wellness and feel good oasis in Shenyang We combined it with a night in the hotel. Underground parking. The big building is the spa. It’s not easy to miss. The check-in is not in the big Spa Building. Overnighters have to go to the building next door, following the „check-in signs“. There they inform you that: - The day of check in you can use the Spa area until 10 pm. - Day of checkout a delicious breakfast with much variety of cooked and fresh dishes, fruits, juices and coffee and sweets is served from 7-10am. - If you check out before 10 am you can use the Spa area again until 6pm that day. - To enter the Spa area you need to go to the big building. You need to let them know your room number and they need your passport / ID card. - You will get a number for your individual locker. If you are a couple check the ticket with number for sign of female or male. - You take off your shoes, exchange them for slippers they offer and store your shoes in your locker. You get a key you take inside which is for free. - You will be led into gender separated changing areas. - You get a free towel, lounge shirt and shirt pants to change in and sign for it with your key. There is staff to show you how. - Your key shows your number and area in which your individual locker is located in. There is staff to show you how. - Inside you first pass a gender separated area. Here you can be naked. - Then you can leave that area and join the gender mixed area. - It has 4 levels with indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. - Level 1 has outdoor pools, indoor pools, whirlpools, children’s water park and access to the wave park, which opens 4x a day for half an hour. - Level 2 is more quiet with healthier whirlpool options. - Level 3 has sauna houses for free open until 10pm, a movie theatre, KTV, food area and a children play area all open until 9:30pm. - Level 4 is for private treatments. In winter the outdoor waterpark/slides „the wave“ and terrace pools are closed due to the cold. We were surprised of how relaxing the stay at the Spa was. There is many people but the Spa building is amazingly huge and has many different areas to lay down and corners in which it was very peaceful. Our hotel room „Room Queensize-Bed“ was lovely and the staff very attentive. We ordered ice-cubes, extra water and had pizza delivered to the hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience, which we will repeat.

Good location, near to Shenyang Imperial palace and other attractions. Easy to reach by subway🚇, Huaiyuanmen station is the nearest station but you need to navigate to get to this hotel. It is located on the inner road next to other apartments. Once you come out of Huaiyuanmen station, Exit B, U-turn and you will see the main gate to Imperial Palace.Walk across the street into the main gate, keeping to your left. This is the inner road...walk along the road for 200m or so, you'll see a BBQ restaurant in your right and a gated parking area next to it. The hotel is just beside this restaurant. It's easy to travel around using public buses too. The young pretty lady reception at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. We stayed here for three nights. But our key card was deactivated on the second day which I don't understand why. The bearded guy, probably the boss activated the card for us after we came downstairs again. Then the next issue was when we opened our room door we were shocked to see that the room was not made up at all, although we had hung the signage at the door before we left in the morning.We came back in the evening, tired after one whole day of touring around Shenyang to find a room not made up and no replenishment of water and basic amenities. We had to go downstairs again to lodge the complaint and he was rather defensive, saying that I should have requested for making up the room at the front desk, in which I asked him what's the use of the signage card for. Thereafter, he took some time to replace the towels, bottled water and other basic toiletries. In another review by another guest, this bearded guy was mentioned as a humorous man. However, I was taken aback by his comments including mentioning that we drink so much water when we requested for two extra bottles of water. FYI, we have been given lots of drinking water all the while when we stayed in China hotels. This is the 10th hotel that we are staying at during our 20-days trip to North Eastern China. The only negative remark is the cleaning service in this hotel is unsatisfactory. Although, the next day the room was supposed to be cleaned, I had to pick up the hair and rubbish that was blocking the water outlet and also some food droppings on the carpet. We're grateful that the hotel management upgraded the room for us. It would have been perfect if they looked into improving their cleaning services and responses to hotel guests.
