Ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt am Fuße der Mauer! Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten unglaublich gemütlich. Der beste Schlaf auf der ganzen Reise. Es waren draußen fast -20 Grad, aber innen war es wohlig warm. Der Besitzer hat uns gute Tipps für die Wanderung auf der Mauer gegeben. Das hausgemachte Essen war überaus köstlich. In den Zimmern hängen wunderschöne Fotografien der Mauer, die der Besitzer selbst angefertigt hat. Egal was wir benötigt haben, sie haben sich bestens und rührend um uns gekümmert. Vielen lieben Dank für die wunderbare Zeit! Wir werden wiederkommen 😊

Hotel man is great, he speaks very good English and is super friendly and kind. Transportation by car was arranged to and from the train station as well as for heading up the hill at 6am to the Jinshanling great wall park entrance to catch sunrise from the Great Wall at the top. It is possible to just walk up to the gate instead, it just takes longer to walk the 2 km to the ticket checking gate, and there is then still some maybe 15 mins of walking uphill before getting to the top. Photos show the view from my room, the menu of the hotel restaurant, dinner (尖椒豆片炒肉), and breakfast (fried rice and soup).

I don't normally bother to write reviews, but this place is truly deserving of one. Our stay at Anaya was amazing to say the least. The place was so beautiful and serene, rivaling many of the luxury ryokans in Japan but with their own modern twist. We stayed in the queen room, and it’s fairly simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The in-room drinks and snacks were delicious, and they provided an additional special treat each day, which was an experience on its own. There wasn't a television, but we never felt that there was a need for one. It was a place where you can truly focus on unwinding and take things slow, but when needed, the Wi-Fi speed is sufficient for streaming on your own devices. The hotel is unique where you can just do everything within their compounds without needing to travel anywhere else. We really loved the Japanese bookstore, which is a must-visit, and spend some time admiring the garden next to it. They provide activities as well, so you will never feel like there is nothing to do. The spas are also highly recommended, which in fact warrants a trip all on its own even if you do not stay at the hotel. One of the spas is a re-purposed factory, and it's a truly unique experience which will appeal to architecture enthusiasts. Food was a little pricey, but you have a lot of options, and the ones we had were great. They even had their own provision shop for you to stock up on snacks and drinks. One of the main factors that truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Zhi Hui. She went above and beyond to share her personal contact in order to make sure we were well taken care of, answering our questions promptly and making arrangements for us. She even followed up with us after our departure to make sure we arrived at our next destination safely. The other staff around the hotel, including the restaurants, were also very friendly and helpful. There was even a sweet young lady selling what they harvested from the mountains as well as small snack stores, one of which was operated by a very friendly lady selling Japanese-style desserts. Our interactions with the people all felt really genuine and sincere. The experience wouldn't have been so wonderful if it weren't for our very pleasant experience with the people working in and around the hotel. They normally use a multi-seater buggy to ferry guests around, but when we were caught in the rain, they actually arranged a car to pick us up instead. Anaya Lanya Hotel is simply extraordinary, and we cannot recommend it enough.

Went with my wife during the October 7 day holiday . Our normal go to place was the Phoenix hotel that was booked. Place was ok. I say a 3.5/5 Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets. The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be. The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot. Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat. No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it. Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. Albergo situato alle porte della Jianshanling scenic area (20 min a piedi fino all’entrata dove si può iniziare la scalata per arrivare alla muraglia) Per arrivare noi abbiamo optato per un treno da Beijingbei a Gubeikou e poi organizzato con host un transfer. Host molto gentile e accogliente che ci ha offerto anche un upgrade gratuito🙃. L’albergo è pulito e accogliente con il ristorante al piano terra comodo perché intorno non c’è niente. Cibo buono e ad un prezzo giusto. Grazie ci tornerei 😊

Varaamamme sviitin tatamimatto oli riittävän suuri lasten nukkumiseen. Huone oli siisti ja hygieeninen eikä näyttänyt lainkaan maalaistalolta. Täti oli erittäin vieraanvarainen. Hän auttoi matkatavaroiden kanssa heti, kun pääsimme ulos autosta. Hänen tekemänsä aamiainen oli myös herkullinen ja lapset söivät sitä erittäin hyvin. Maisema-alue on vain muutaman askeleen päässä majoituksesta, mikä säästää aikaa bussikuljetuksella ja jonottamalla, mikä sopii lapsiperheille.

The only hotel inside the jinshanling great wall. Next to the entrance of the ticket and cable car station. Only 1 Chinese restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices of the food are reasonable and portions are huge. Room is as per the picture. We have 2 rooms, 1 facing car park and 1 mountain. No greatwall view as is hidden behind the mountain. Service is excellent, they will provide pick up service from tourist centre and east gate entrance. We walked from the central to the east and contacted them via WeChat to pick us up from there. When we checked out, they told them we wanted to go a restaurant near the tourist centre, they did the extra mile to send us there instead of just alighting at the tourist centre. Staff are extra friendly. I saw them looking for 4 guests who dine at the restaurant the night before who dropped at 100yuan. The next morning when we were there for breakfast, they checked whether did we sat at the table for dinner last night. They were still searching for the guests to return the money. Super honest! However, cleanliness can be improved, the ceiling fan was super dusty. Behind the hotel, next to the greatwall entrance, there are some farmers restaurants and mingshu too.

Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round! Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing. They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice. One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so! Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us. Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes). All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon! 特别喜欢这里的服务，在这里住的很舒服也非常开心。好美的地方和人，令我都马上想在订下一趟旅程来这里了！好可惜我们只住了一晚因为我们本来只是想爬金山岭，如果能待多几天那该多好。。简直完美! ❤️
