Overall the hotel room is very clean and it was a good experience staying there. I like the minimalist design and the shade of colour and find that this hotel is very comfortable for me. Good points: Very clean. Location is central and it is located in the heart of Shanghai must-visit attractions. Many food options to select from around the area within walking distance. Customer service is superb. The hotel front desk staff are all very helpful and willing to help, they even helped me to ensure that my Didi location is accurate. There are complimentary tea and coffee at the entrance area as well. I would say this is worth the price, comparing to another hotel which is more expensive than this. They have good security also. Rooms for improvement: The hotel does not have a lobby area to load/unload luggage, hence you will have to cross the road to hail a cab or book DiDi, can be inconvenient especially when you are lugging your luggage. The sink area is outside of the toilet, hence you have to be careful while brushing or washing stuffs but generally not a huge concern for us.

The staff at this hotel is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were allow to keep our big luggages with the hotel while we travel outside of Shanghai even we did not stay at the hotel again on our return. Another plus point the room has a washing machine and a common dryer. It is also near metro stations

Absolutely superb location with warm and thoughtful hospitality! The hotel is perfectly situated within easy walking distance to The Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The kids were delighted with the welcome gifts, which added a lovely and memorable touch to our stay. Breakfast was never a concern — just step out of the hotel and you’ll find plenty of authentic local breakfast options nearby. Pros: Located near the Maglev station, Metro Super Market, and the Shanghai Metro station (all within approximately 5 min walking distance). Lots of local foods near the maglev station. Approx 10-20 minutes walk to the Expo. Friendly staff with limited English conversation. Use translation apps to communicate. Drinking water and coffee is available 24/7 at the lobby. Local breakfast buffet for 25RMB. Cons: Cigarrete smells in Non Smoking room and visible dust on the wallpaper.

It is a 10-minute walk to the hotel from the metro line 4. It is a new hotel so the rooms are clean. Noise insulation is good. Front desk receptionists are accommodating and friendly, and free laundry. There are 4 local restaurants next to the hotel and a noiseless construction site across the street. The Wi-Fi signal is strong. I highly recommend the hotel. I'm not sure if they understand English.

The hotel’s location is excellent — near exits 1, 2, and 3. I chose this hotel because it’s on Metro Line 2, which is convenient for getting to PVG Airport. The hotel is easy to find; it’s on the 7th floor of the building that has a Luckin Coffee shop. There’s an elevator operating 24/7 with a security guard stationed there at all times. You can store your luggage for free at the hotel after check-out. The staff don’t speak English, but using a translation app works perfectly fine. The staff are polite and provide good service. The room is clean, though it felt a bit stuffy at first—probably because it’s a room without windows exposed to sunlight. However, the hotel had already turned on the air conditioning, which helped. If a room with natural light is available, you can ask the staff to change it for you. There seems to be only one power outlet in the room. The internet is a bit slow but still usable. If you plan to have the buffet at Dongshen, the restaurant is in the Mosaic building on the 5th floor, directly across from the hotel. Booked 2 rooms and the space was enough, maybe could fit 3 small adults (tight for 1 double bed). The bed and pillows are comfortable. The room had its own table, tv, electrical plugs (including USB) and the usual personal amenities. Bathroom/toilet with heated toilet seats and free shower gel and shampoo (no conditioner). The room gives a luxurious vibe but on a budget! The free buffet—scrumptious and (for me) lots of choices for breakfast. I am guessing it is a typical healthy Chinese breakfast- not much meat to partner the fried rice (but abundant ham in it-my kid loved it), vegetables viand, dumplings, egg, etc. The receptionists are very accommodating and nice. We arrived 8pm but there was a chinese restaurant open until midnight beside it. It is only a short taxi ride to the bund, definitely walkable if you have the time. Overall great stay and will definitely stay again!
