"It’s was an okay experience, everything was alright but staff were not very knowledgeable about the hotel. I asked if there was a freezer I could store my food in and both of the receptionist said no. I also ask if they could store it for me and they said they didn’t have one. When I go up to the room, they have the freezer. Also TV connection for Netflix or YouTube most likely won’t work. Connection is unstable. Breakfast is okay but not too many options. When I ask the two receptionist for umbrella , they say the hotel don’t have umbrella for the guests at all, which I think is odd. Decent stay but value for money is so so, rooms were a bit too small as well."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my visit to Sydney. The room was very clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just outside Wynyard Station, which made getting around the city super convenient. It’s also within 10–20 minutes walking distance to many popular areas like the Sydney shopping district, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, The Rocks, and more. What really stood out to me was the modern high-tech features throughout the hotel. The lift system is not the usual kind, you scan your access card outside, and it automatically assigns you a lift to your room’s floor or the amenities level. There are no buttons inside the lift, which felt very secure and futuristic. Inside the room, both the bedroom and bathroom have built-in speakers, so I could enjoy my favourite songs throughout the space, such a great touch! They even provide an iPad in the room that lets you contact reception, access useful hotel info, and even browse suggested playlists if you don’t have one of your own. I really appreciated the attention to detail. Another highlight was the variety of pillows available. I chose the contour pillow and slept incredibly well. One thing to note: toothbrushes are not provided for free, there’s an extra charge if you need one. But it’s not a big deal for me since I always bring my own. Just a heads-up if you’re planning to stay here , remember to pack your toothbrush! The only small downside was the bathroom design, although there’s a glass door, some water did spill out after showering. But this was minor and didn’t affect my overall impression. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, modern, and tech-savvy place to stay in Sydney!"

"We arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon, but due to a delay, check-in was not possible until 6pm. What impressed us was that shortly after we finally entered our room, the manager called our room personally to apologise and offered a generous discount for that night’s stay. This level of professionalism and accountability is highly commendable. The majority of the staff we encountered were polite, greeted us warmly and offered professional smiles throughout our stay. However, there is definite room for improvement in the service. When our car pulled up, there were several staff members standing at the entrance, yet no one offered any assistance with check-in or check-out, nor did anyone help with our luggage. This was particularly disappointing for a family travelling with young children. The hotel would benefit from strengthening its service awareness and training in this area. Unfortunately, during our stay, the room attendant accidentally broke our newly purchased facial cleanser while cleaning the room. They simply wrapped it in a towel and left it on the bathroom counter without any note of apology. While we did not make a fuss about it, it did reflect a lack of attention to guest experience and professionalism that could be improved. Overall, we were still very satisfied with the hotel, particularly its excellent location and the warm, friendly service from the lobby staff. We would happily return on our next visit to Sydney."

"Disappointing Stay for a Special Occasion – Expected More from a 5-Star Hotel Stayed 4 nights with my daughter for her surprise birthday staycation. Upgraded to a Harbour Bridge View room on Level 23 ($715/night), but the view was mostly of a vacant construction site – very underwhelming for the price. Noisy interconnecting room and loud sports cars between 12–2am made it hard to sleep. Breakfast ($65pp) was below expectations – dried sausages and barely cooked bacon, though staff were lovely. Room service on our last night took nearly an hour – ordered at 7:38pm, food arrived at 8:30pm. As a solo mum, this was a trip we had saved up for a long time and wanted it to be truly special, but we were left feeling disappointed. Expected more from a 5-star hotel. The positive highlights of our stay was the lovely big bath and high-quality shower amenities, which added a touch of luxury. Fantastic location and beautiful walk along the waterfront!! For the price we paid, the view fell far short of what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. In hindsight, the lower rate Deluxe King Room overlooking the water would have been a much better choice!  -"

"Stayed two nights in an Executive Queen Room With Darling Harbour View. The room was spacious and clean. Harbour view was beautiful - it would have been a good spot to view the Saturday night drone show (which replaced the fireworks during my stay) at Darling Harbour (although I was viewing the shows from elsewhere). Shower head was adequate but could have been improved with highe water pressure. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection and was overall quite tasty. I was impressed with the service - when I called reception late at night at a loss for how to store a large refrigerated item (that wouldn't fit in the room fridge) overnight, they picked it up from our room and stored it in a fridge. The staff were proactive in resolving my issue."

"Conveniently located in the heart of the CBD, near Circular Quay, it was easy to access the key attractions like the Sydney Opera House. The rooftop bar, Aster, also provided fantastic views of the Harbour Bridge. The main draw of this hotel for us was its own indoor carpark as we were renting a car. Valet parking is $89 AUD a night (as of Aug 2025) and there is no option to self-park, but you can enter and exit the carpark as many times as you want. Pricey but generally consistent with the other carpark options in this area. Our room size was pretty big for 2 persons and the room was generally well maintained. We encountered some issues with inconsistent housekeeping e.g. used cups not being replaced, towels not being replaced, but they were generally minor and often quickly rectified after a call to reception. Would recommend if you would like to stay in this part of Sydney."

"Convenient and easy to check in. The hotel is located right next to tram station. The harbour view is slightly smaller than my expectation. Other than that, everything’s perfect."

"The place was spotless . Very central to everything. We were there for a show at theatre Royal. So handy just a short walk. Restaurant and happy hour around us . We also went to barrangaroo short walk away. Very close to town hall station"
