"Pros- room was clean as it should be. And hotel is close enough to the city. Room had a power socket next to the bed which was good, as some hotels dont.
Cons- Booked here as it was close to city and it said 'parking available' but only after booking I saw in the fine print that they will charge $50 for 1 night of parking and i couldnt cancel as i would have been charged.
Their wifi was not working so I called them and they said something like they can look into it tomorrow which was no use for me as I was there 1 night. 1 of the power sockets next to the bed was not working.
They take a $200 deposit/bond on top of the booking cost which they give back in a week, but if things like their wifi or power socket doesnt work, shouldnt they be giving you a partial refund of the booking as the room is not 100%??"

"Super conveniently located near public transport. The entrance to Central Station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel (you could see the hotel from the Station, see photo).
Booking this place for a concert at Olympic Park felt like a gamble — but it paid off. They run special event trains from Central straight to Olympic Park, which made getting there ridiculously easy.
The hotel itself is clean, and the bed is comfy — exactly what you need after a big night out."

"The toilet was dirty. There were many flies on the ceiling, already some dead ones, mold on the walls and the flush water could not be stopped, so you can hear it constantly during the night. I believe it needs a deep clean that daily cleaners could probably not do?
Staff was friendly but since this hotel is a part of ascott group, i honestly expected at least to be sparkling clean."

"Really great location where you’re at the heart of the city where every spot is walkable, with darling harbour just minutes away.
The room is more than enough space for one, with luxe touches to add pizazz to the stay.
The housekeeping team were very accommodating to clean the room daily, even on days where I’m leaving the hotel later in the afternoon.
On my last day, I requested a later checkout, albeit at a fee, but the staff were able to kindly accommodate quite quickly.
Overall, will be staying here again on my next yearly visit to Sydney."

"The place was spotless . Very central to everything. We were there for a show at theatre Royal. So handy just a short walk. Restaurant and happy hour around us . We also went to barrangaroo short walk away. Very close to town hall station"

"If u get a room on the Harbour side, the view is post card perfect! Wendy Whiteley’s secret garden is behind the hotel which is conveniently located within walking distance to the ferries and the Harbour Bridge. The hotel’s location is not as much a tourist area like Darling Harbour or the Rocks are which means limited restaurants and nightlife but also means less crowds."

VVieraskäyttäjäWe originally had a very good experience at this hotel and were hoping to return in the future. However, the morning we checked out left us extremely upset.
We had an urgent matter at the bank and could not check out by 10:00 a.m. At 10:30, we received a notice from the hotel asking us to check out immediately, otherwise a late charge would apply if we stayed until 1:00 p.m. I replied right away, explaining that we were handling something important and hoped to return by 12:00 noon. Suddenly, we were told that even between 11:00–12:00 there would be a late charge.
We rushed back immediately, but the front desk staff gave us unfriendly looks and treated us poorly. We expressed that we did not understand why the late charge policy was not clearly explained from the beginning, and then prepared to return to our room to collect our luggage. Even at that point, the ********* male employee continued to show a hostile attitude. All the staff at the front desk kept pressuring us to pack up and leave, and none of them showed any courtesy.
We acknowledge that we were late, but the staff kept repeating the checkout policy without any kindness or flexibility. After staying three nights, we expected at least a little goodwill. Instead, another of the front desk staff, male employee, even threatened to call the police. We did not use violence—we were only arguing about their poor attitude. Calling the police to solve or arrest us for complaining your poor service? Is this really your standard of hospitality? It is so ridiculous.
When we voiced our dissatisfaction and anger at the attitude of the two male staff members, one female colleague suddenly laughed. At such a moment, should she really be laughing while looking at us? What we felt was not friendliness, but ridicule. If this is your usual standard of service and way of handling incidents, we truly feel helpless and disappointed.
Possibly your management does not care about the service standards at all, which is why such unprofessional staff are employed. This incident seriously affected our mood and disrupted the rest of our trip. It is truly incomprehensible and unacceptable.

Ccxssxlynnamazing almost unbeatable facilities! fully equipped unit which really helped us save lots of money by cooking. washer, coffee machine, induction stoves, pots and pans, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, chopping board and knives, cutlery/utensils, fridge with freezer, chiller and veg compartments. they even provide dishwashing powder and laundry powder. smart TV was great as well, beds were comfy. service was super friendly and helpful as well. they even have a pilates studio and a gym in this hotel. we had the best stay in this spacious room and we’ll definitely be back if we ever visit australia again!

We encountered small cockroaches each evening we returned, luckily just the slow kind that you can easily catch. I appreciated the green programme that rewards guests who skip room service with vouchers, but the voucher has limited use, especially with the breakfast spread being quite limited; honestly, you’re better off heading out to nearby cafés instead. Skipping housekeeping also meant I had to dispose of my own trash, and the recycling bins near the lifts kept piling up without being cleared. Can be better.

I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

When I left behind a very expensive tea pot they did not hesitate to store it for it me, when I decided to have it posted to my address, they organized everything! VVieraskäyttäjäOur living experience in the Hotel was great. The upgrading service in pent house provided a great view of the surrounding areas with a part of Darling Harbour. The house is so big which let us have a very good rest. The facilities in house are sufficient. The room attendant was very helpful and pleasant.
Almost everythings are brilliant, just two things need to improve. One is the drainage and the water supply is not stable in the bathroom. Second thing need to pay attention to is the bathroom door in the bedroom should be changed to the material that can block the sunlight to let the guests sleeping deeper.
