"The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from Sapporo JR station and 3 minutes walk from Hokkaido University so the location is very convenient. The room size is generous and it has a public bath on the 2nd floor. Overall a comfortable stay and good value for money. It would be even better if the reception could understand a bit more English or Chinese."

"Really happy with the stay of 9 days there with this good rates. Room is spacious for 2 and the bathroom is very comfortable with great toilet facilities. It is way better than the photos online. You can drink the tap water directly as it is from the underground natural creek of various healthy minerals even though they provide free bottled snow mountain water every day.
Love the shuttle bus services provided from and to hotel on a quite frequent daily timetable easy for us to get to the ice sculpture festival at Odori, and JR station for transportation.
Ice cream and coffee jelly ice cream dessert is another reason to visit. Their buffet breakfast is hearty yet delicate very delicious.
Overall we have a great stay there and would recommend those travel to Sapporo."

"I had a wonderful stay at ibis Styles Hotel Sapporo during my trip to Hokkaido.
The location is excellent — close to the Susukino area, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and the subway.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, much larger than most city hotels in Japan.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant.
The hotel also provides convenient parking and luggage storage, which made our road trip so much easier.
We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches in the room.
After long days exploring Sapporo and nearby attractions, it felt like coming home.
Overall, it’s great value for money and ideal for families or travelers visiting Hokkaido.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Sapporo!"

The room is very spacious with comfortable modern amenities, with an in-room private onsen, with unobstructed snow covered views.
Dinner and breakfast here are one of the best, the sequencing of dishes and the amount are just right. Your get to explore various dishes and each dishes are so meticulously done.
One of the best perks here are the lounge, the snack bar and drinks bar are awesome. Stocks with best Sapporo snack and drinks for you to grab at any time.
Definitely one of the best resort ever, will return for sure.

AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

JJui-Chen LiouMy first trip to Sapporo was made truly amazing by staying at this hotel. The location is flawless—easily accessible from Exit 8 or 10 of the Sapporo Underground Walkway, which connects directly to the Namboku Line Sapporo Station. This makes commuting effortless even during rainy or snowy weather.
The hotel’s exterior and lobby are elegantly designed, but the most captivating feature is its view—it directly faces the ”Former Hokkaido Government Office,” and the scenery is as picturesque as a painting. The room was incredibly spacious; even with three large suitcases fully opened, there was still plenty of room to move around comfortably.
As for the facilities and dining: the breakfast on the 2nd floor offers a lavish spread of seafood delicacies full of Hokkaido’s local flavors. The public bath is also spacious, featuring both hot and cold pools as well as a sauna, which was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. Toiletries are provided in the lobby on the 1st floor for guests to pick up as needed.
Overall, this hotel offers a perfect balance between strategic location and high-quality accommodation. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers!

When I planned to visit two snow and ski resorts, they even printed out detailed locations and transportation options for me. One night, my child had a nosebleed that got on the pillow, sheets, and bedcover, but they were very understanding and didn't apply any extra charges. I am extremely satisfied with this hotel.
このホテル、本当に親切でした！別々の部屋を2つ予約したんですが、「移動しなくていいように」というわがままを聞いてくれて、同じ部屋のままにしてもらえました。スキーやスノーパークに行きたいと伝えたら、行き方や交通手段をわざわざプリントアウトしてくれて助かりました。ある夜、子供が鼻血を出して枕やシーツを汚してしまった時も、「大丈夫ですよ」と言ってくれて、追加料金も取られませんでした。最高のホテルです！

I like that they have coin laundry, vending machine and public bath in the hotel. Water in the public bath was a little too hot (probably over 45oC) but I guess that's normal to Japanese. The only thing I don't like is that the check in time is stiff 15:00 whether the room is vacant or not, but that's still acceptable.

RRomain DannaWe stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo as a family traveling with a baby. The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around Sapporo, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. This made our stay much easier and more enjoyable, especially when traveling with a baby.
When we first entered our room, we unfortunately faced a few issues. The phone was not working, and part of a wall fixture was coming off, which raised safety concerns for us as parents. It was disappointing to receive a room in this condition, especially when traveling with a baby where safety is a priority.
However, we would like to highlight the very professional reaction of the hotel staff. Once we reported the problem, they responded quickly and seriously. They upgraded us to their biggest room and fixed the issue, making sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Their attitude and willingness to solve the problem made a big difference and turned a negative first impression into a positive experience.
Another strong point of the hotel is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was excellent. The food quality was very good, and the convenience of having such a good restaurant on-site was invaluable for us as a family. We ended up eating there almost every night.
Overall, while we were initially disappointed with the condition of the first room, we were very satisfied with how the staff handled the situation, the great location, and the quality of the restaurant. Thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.

WWaleed AbumazenThe hotel in very good location but rooms is extremely small , barely has space to open the luggage on the floor , room size is only 18 SQM , they never publish the room size on the room details , photos on the listing is misleading as it show the rooms is big but actually its extremely small , Toilet is miserable small and has 40 CM step to climb , if you have senior person be ready to assist every time that person need to go to toilet.
Breakfast , i tried once and never repeated as it doesn't worth it .
Im frequent traveller and i don't normally write reviews but for this hotel i have to write to be sure no one got the same disappointment i got when i saw the room .

朝のブッフェも美味しかった。ウォータースライダー2本やってないから週末のウォータースライダー毎日今月だけらしい。なくても21:00までプールで遊べてその後温泉でゆったりでした。
