"I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!"

"Wonderful experience for a one-night stay at AC Hotel for a quick look around Ipoh Town whilst travelling from Penang back to KL. Room was clean and comfortable to stay, games room is nice too for my kids to hang around for some time. Free parking available, just validate it at the receptionist counter prior leaving the facility."

"Staff is friendly, however the room service a bit slow as after we checked in no towel in our room due to still on laundry, and that was already 5pm. Not a big deal though. Room is clean and they provided white coffee sachets which is nice. Water heater warm up very fast. Old led TV but a lot of channels with different varieties to watch. Hotel provided breakfast is fantastic, few good choices to choose. Amenities include a massage spa within the hotel and guest able to get discounted price, massage service is very good. Nearby there is a pub and Chinese restaurant which seems to be very popular as able to see many cars at night going for dinner. Overall fully recommended this hotel. Also there is flea market on every Sunday morning just outside."

"First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. One of the best things about it is its incredibly convenient location. The hotel is situated right next to a shopping mall, which made everything so much easier during my trip. Whether I needed food, shopping, or just a place to relax, everything was just a short walk away. The accessibility to nearby amenities really enhanced my overall experience. It saved me a lot of time and effort, especially after a long day of exploring. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a great location."

"I truly feel fortunate and lucky to have discovered this HIDDEN JEM of a Hotel! It is Centrally Located in IPOH, Malaysia and Shopping and Restaurants are closeby and within walking distance! The room was spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed too! The Room rates are quite reasonable and a great overall value. I think what sets this Artistic Hotel apart from others is the 5-Star Service provided by each and every member of the Team! I had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Front Desk staff and Room Attendenta and each and everyone had a positive attitude and genuinely cared if I was happy at ALL times. I believe they went above and beyond ALL of my expectations to ensure I was 110% SATISFIED with my stay. YES, QUITE FRANKLY, I WAS 110% SATISFIED WITH MY STAY AND HOPEFULLY I'LL BE BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND WOULD LOVE TO STAY HERE AGAIN! ¡Gracias Amigos! Señor Ricardo"

"We were accommodated in a refurbished room which was nice and clean. It’s located at a Din Sum eateries area with about 4 of 5 old time names like Ming court. Famous Cowan Tauge Chicken Rice restaurant is just round the corner. The breakfast buffet were somewhat limited in choice and wasn’t impressive. Overall we had an enjoyable stay."

"The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Although the room is small, the air conditioning is efficient. There are no foul smells. The hotel provides a mini fridge, ironing board, hair dryer, digital safe, towels, toothpaste and toothbrush. The soundproofing is weak as you can hear the cars from the street. Location wise it is only 10 minutes drive to Ipoh town or to Aeon Station 18. There are many shops around the hotel such as Family Mart and Mixue. Overall it is a comfortable hotel with great value for a short period of stay."

"The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh."
