"Concierge service is excellent! Service staffs in the hotel are really helpful and attentive. The room worth the price, water heater is working well, water pressure is excellent. The edges (especially the floor, door and wall) might need some maintenance. Their mattress is great and comfy, just the pillows can be better. Breakfast is well served in great display and varieties. The most important thing is ”GOOD LOCATION”! walkable to Grand Batam Mall & BCS."

"Hotel is big with spacious room, however location not that good, must take grab towards eateries. Hotel provide free shuttle to 3 shopping mall everyday 11am and 5pm (drop off only), which consider a good point. Buffet breakfast is more towards local Indonesian food with average taste except nice coffee."

"Huone on puhdas ja hyvin ylläpidetty. Daikin ilmastointi on viileä mutta hieman meluisa.. En ole varma, onko se vettä tai lämmitys mutta suihku on melko seikkailu. Olen erityisen tyytyväinen konserttiin ja oveihin - ne ovat fab, ystävällisiä ja miellyttävää. Kaapissa on turvakaapissa. Olisi mukavaa, jos heillä olisi hiilipussi absorboida kaikki hajut vaatteista yö ulos A2 ruokakeskus alle 300 metrin päässä BCH."

"Pls olla huolellinen Hotel vaatii talletus 100k IDR. Kun tarkistaa ulos, hotelli tarkistaa huoneen ensin ennen kuin saat talletuksen takaisin. Tarvitset odottaa noin 10min. Voit sanoa halpaa hotellia 2 aamiaista vain noin rm125 per yö. Valitsin tämän hotellin bcos saapui Batam yöaika, joten ei tarvitse fantastinen hotelli hehe. Hotelli ei ole ostoskoneet hotelli, koko rakennus on hotelli. yöllä melko meluisa, ei ole varma, miksi, ehkä siellä on tapahtuma baletti hotelli. Toilettihuone on keskimäärin ( melko hajuinen ehkä bcos vanha hotelli), ei sovellu fussy henkilö. Sama menee sänkyyn ja vuodelehti. Mutta huone on niin tilava ja on kiblat merkki (muslim rukouksen). Aamiainen leviää myös keskimäärin, sopii, jos et syö paljon. Mutta silti on munia. Nasi goreng, mehon goreng, viljat, myös. Yleensä vielä OK, jos jäät 1 yö."

"Artotel is totally my cup of tea ☕️🎨 From the moment I walked in, I was like, “Okay… this place gets me.” The whole hotel feels like a mini art museum — with specially curated artwork by local artists and even a gallery right in the lobby. If I’m not mistaken, it looks like live band performances can take place in the lobby too. Honestly, I half expected to accidentally walk into an exhibition opening instead of checking in. The vibes? Immaculate. Creative, quirky, and just the right amount of “I’m cooler than your average hotel.” Also… can we talk about the mysterious gifts? 👀 It was my mom’s birthday during our stay, and she kept finding little surprises in the room. We’re not 100% sure if it’s part of a birthday special or if Artotel just enjoys spoiling guests (not complaining either way 😂). Overall, 10/10 would stay again — for the art, the vibes, and the possibility of more surprise goodies. 🎁"

"I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. "The service is good as the staff is friendly. Many eateries around. Price is cheaper compare to those hotel in thamrin area. As it is old hotel the towel seems old and dark. Probably management can improve by changing to new towel."

"Pros: The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff. Cons: No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets. Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing. Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy."
