Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Budapest

"Erittäin hyvin sijaitseva hotelli lähellä tärkeimpiä turistialueita, ravintoloita ja baareja. Huone ja kylpyhuone ovat tilavia, puhtaita ja vuodevaatteet ovat laadukkaita. Toisaalta suihkuvesi ei ollut aamulla tarpeeksi lämmintä. Hotellin vastaanottovirkailijoiden vastaanotto oli täydellinen. Yöpyisin mielelläni tässä hotellissa uudelleen, jos menen Budapestiin uudelleen."

"Location remains Flow Spaces' main bright side. Sadly, I didnt get much sleep due to inconsiderate roommates who continued typing on their laptop through the night, and generally making noise with shuffling plastic bags past midnight. Of course, that's just bad luck, nothing to blame hostel for. However, thickness of the walls IS hostel's feature, and it's worth knowing that you might hear your next-room neighbors snoring (walls seem to have left thin in grand hostel expansion), which doubles risks of noise-polluted sleep. The private bathroom is the tiniest ever, with a washbasin the size of a shoe, which makes tooth brushing or face washing a contortionist act. Now, after several stays here, I can confirm that hostel doesnt ever read or respond to special requests (such as preferred bunk bed) - I understand requests are not always made possible, but staff consistently confirms they dont even read them or care to respond. I also had a small request for my departure, if my bag could stay in the room an additional half an hour or so after the official check-out time at 11 (i left the hostel at 5:30 am, but wanted not to be pressed by returning earlier just to take the bag out ”in time”), but the staff didnt have any flexibility about it, still requesting 2.000 huf (almost amounting to a night rate) for leaving a piece of luggage past 11. So in the end, i left the hostel early morning, and explored the icy city while rolling my bag non-stop. The policy is ridiculously strict. As, if i wanted to, i could have left my bag in the room without asking sincerely. The check-out is literally dropping the key in the box, so nobody would have ever known. But the fact that it is insisted on the fee, as the housekeeping needs to clean the entire room (i said i would evacuate my bed early anyway), is simply senseless. Last time i stayed here (i spent daytime in the room), i saw what that ”room cleaning” looked like - it was mainly just changing sheets of beds of guests who left , so i cant see how my bag would have made such a large issue for half an hour post check-out, that this silly fee is demanded, as if i booked an extra bed for my bag to sleep in. Like most accommodation providers in the world, hospitality lies on relations with guests, and those are best built if the approach is human, not robotic, and as reasonable as possible."

"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"I soent again at B&B hotel in Budapest City. On Angyal utca. Its close to metro station and public transports. Hotel has digital lock on the doors with personal code for opening doors."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I am truly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth and professional, which made a great first impression. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet, which allowed me to rest very well."

"1 Stern für die Mitarbeiter, weil die sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. 1 Stern für die Lage, gute Anbindungen 1 Stern für die Sauberkeit. Also insgesamt 3/10. Unten ist ein Club und es war soo laut. Wirklich für eine Familien Trip nicht zu empfehlen. Außer man möchte selber weggehen bis spät abends. Ausstattung finde ich nicht so gut. Wenn ich es mit den Fotos vergleiche, hätte ich besser erwartet. Ich würde leider hier nicht mehr nochmal hingehen."

"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti train station, making it easy to travel around the city. It’s only about five tram stops to the city centre, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. If you get a room facing the main road, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the train station. However, there are some downsides. The air conditioning doesn’t work during autumn and winter, so the only option for ventilation is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely noisy since it’s right next to a main road where police and ambulance sirens go off very frequently, making it hard to rest. Additionally, luggage storage isn’t free—you have to pay by the hour, which feels a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a great choice for location and convenience, but not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet or comfort in cooler seasons."

"Location is very centrally located. Within walking distance to main attractions such as fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle. Stunning view of Parliament which is very impressive to my first visit to Budapest. Great breakfast and they can tailor-made different kind of cooking of eggs. Friendly staff with good service. Room is clean and size is reasonable. Many restaurants are around and waiters are friendly and helpful as well."

"Carlton Hotel Buda Castle - A Location Lover's Dream! My recent stay at the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle in Budapest was largely defined by its absolutely awesome location. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in the historical heart of the city, this hotel is a fantastic choice. Being just minutes away from both the majestic Buda Castle and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the convenience for early risers – those who wish to view the stunning sunrise and enjoy the area before the crowds arrive (potentially with free entrance before official opening hours) will find this hotel incredibly convenient, as it's just a short stroll away. Furthermore, the hotel's location also allows for a pleasant walk to the viewing area across the river from the Parliament building. Seeing the illuminated Parliament at night from the opposite bank was a memorable experience, and it was easily accessible on foot from the hotel. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. However, there was one notable downside: the soundproofing could be improved. I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which sometimes disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Overall: Despite the minor issue with soundproofing, I would still highly recommend the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle, especially for travelers who prioritize location above all else. Its proximity to key attractions like Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, along with the easy access to sunrise views and the Parliament panorama, makes it a truly convenient base for exploring the best of Buda. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea, but the unbeatable location truly makes this hotel a strong contender for your Budapest stay."
