"I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow and had a lovely experience overall. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. The room itself was a little on the smaller side, but honestly perfect for two people - comfortable, cosy, and with everything we needed. We had two beds which were really comfortable, and the room included some nice touches like a coffee machine, plenty of towels, and good quality toiletries. The location was also great - close to the city centre, easy to get around, and quiet enough at night for a good sleep. Everything felt safe and well looked after. The only slight downside was that the service could be a bit slow at times. For example, when calling reception for something, it sometimes took quite a while for them to respond or bring what we asked for. It wasn’t a big issue, but something to be aware of if you’re in a hurry. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic. The staff were friendly and polite, the hotel had great amenities, and the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, and convenient. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again."

"My stay with the ibis hotel was somewhat mixed with both positive and negative. On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered."

"The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed  Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.  Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.  Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee."

"The village hotel has everything u need we stayed as we were attending an event at the obo hydro which was just a 5 minute walk feom the hotel. We had both dinner and breakfast there and can't fault any off it."

"Beautiful hotel, great facilities, friendly staff and very clean. It’s a new , upgraded and well maintained hotel. Centrally located very close to everything, only a short walk away. Highly recommend and would definitely come back."

"I came here with my family for a 4 days holiday trip. Thw hotel is very nice, tidy, staff are very friendly. Booked a falimy room for 3 including a 3 yers old child but get a single ber extra 😉 which made my wife little off. Otherwise the hotel is 10/10. The main bus station is just 2.5 km away from the hotel. A bus stop right outside. Other transpot servives are close to the hotel as well. University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is 5 minutes walking distance."

"Ibis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines. HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.” The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident."

"Rakastin sitä, kuinka siistiä ja mukavaa se oli. Vastaanottovirkailijat olivat ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Mainitsemattakaan ei voi unohtaa, että aamiaisbuffetista ruokaa hakiessani tarjoilija, nuori mies, huomasin, että pöydästäni puuttui aterimia. "We booked Friday and Saturday night as we were going to see the gypsy kings. Book in was easy we stayed in a quadruple room which had a double bed and 3 singles and it was worth every penny and would have been good for families as well as friends.Lovely clean room beds comfortable and the breakfast was good plus the staff in the restaurant were really lovely.. Thank you we will be back"

"The hotel is located to close amenities. The hotel is clean beds are comfortable and have all the basic that is needed. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff were warm friendly. A big shout out to James and all the staff for being so kind and providing excellent customer service. Had a an early flight into Glasgow which meant we were up at 3am and arrived at 8:30am. We were allowed early check in, which was like water in the desert. We were exhausted and was able to sleep and rest. Beds were so comfy and gave us a quiet room. I would definitely stay again. My 1st trip to Glasgow, Scotland and the staff made it amazing. We had a late flight and was able to leave our luggage then come back and wait til we had to leave for airport. Would recommend don’t hesitate just book it!! You won’t regret."
