My stay with the ibis hotel was somewhat mixed with both positive and negative. On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered.

The hotel is located to close amenities. The hotel is clean beds are comfortable and have all the basic that is needed. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff were warm friendly. A big shout out to James and all the staff for being so kind and providing excellent customer service. Had a an early flight into Glasgow which meant we were up at 3am and arrived at 8:30am. We were allowed early check in, which was like water in the desert. We were exhausted and was able to sleep and rest. Beds were so comfy and gave us a quiet room. I would definitely stay again. My 1st trip to Glasgow, Scotland and the staff made it amazing. We had a late flight and was able to leave our luggage then come back and wait til we had to leave for airport. Would recommend don’t hesitate just book it!! You won’t regret.

We booked Friday and Saturday night as we were going to see the gypsy kings. Book in was easy we stayed in a quadruple room which had a double bed and 3 singles and it was worth every penny and would have been good for families as well as friends.Lovely clean room beds comfortable and the breakfast was good plus the staff in the restaurant were really lovely.. Thank you we will be back

Ibis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines. HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.” The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.

I liked the room which was very spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful. The hotel is very well located. I think the breakfast needs improvement but this is really the only small concern

Basic hotel but in an ideal location short walk to Sauchihall Street, great restaurants close by. Antipasti if you like Italian. Sichuan house, brilliant Chinese restaurant. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Free WiFi also a free drink from the bar. We didn't have breakfast we went out to eat but there is breakfast for an extra £12 per day if you prefer.

Mainitsemattakaan ei voi unohtaa, että aamiaisbuffetista ruokaa hakiessani tarjoilija, nuori mies, huomasin, että pöydästäni puuttui aterimia. Hänkin huomasi sen ja haki heti aterimet minulle pyytämättä. Kiitos tarkkaavaisuudestasi.

Kaunis pieni hotelli kävelymatka Glasgowin sydämeen. Huone super pieni soveltuu vain 1pax. Keskimääräinen matkatavaro ja takapakka lattialla, ei paljon huonetta kävellä. Hyvää 1/2 yö vain nukkua/lepoa. Hyvä olla latausportit juuri lähellä sänkyyn. Ei pöytä laittaa asioita ollenkaan. Kylpyhuone on hyvin pieni jopa pieni aasialainen nainen kuten minä. Minä yritän iskeä itseni suihkussa 😅. Palvele hyvin perustarkoitus hotelli. Voit olla melko meluisa käytävässä juuri huoneen ulkopuolella äänen eristäminen ei paras.

Great location. Stayed here before. Staff are friendly but it's really let down in other areas. Our room was filthy. Bed was fresh but the desk was sticky, carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks and when I went to plug in my phone beside the bed there was the remains of someone's peperami snack lying on the floor. Bathroom had a brown poo mark on the loo seat (which we cleaned!) And the loo floor was covered in long black hairs. I am platinum blonde and my friend has long dyed red hair... We told reception who offered to comp us breakfast but we had already paid for it so they just took the feedback. We asked for an iron and ironing board, and they were really pitiful appliances. They could do with an upgrade for sure. Oh and during breakfast the coffee machine was fully broken and was being taken apart...

Much more basic than expected. Bed was made up of two singles which barely stayed together through the night. Tea and coffee facilities were poor as were the toiletries. Not worth the price at all. Breakfast at £14 per head was totally overpriced. Food was luke warm and very bland. Will not be back.
