Malakka Hotels with Parvekkeita

Good location near Jonker Street. Not recommended and will not come back again. I've requested NO corner room, or room near exit door but I was given the room at the corner beside the exit - Room 116. When we first enter the room, we saw few flies flying around the room. The toilet bowl flush was broken attached image. I went to counter to request for some bottles of water, in the end never come. Have to call the counter again. It was raining, checking with the counter if we can borrow an umbrella, they don't provide any umbrella for guests!

I stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

One of the front desk staff might be a little cold in receiving guest. On another day the front desk staff are much more friendly. But overall a good stay as it's near to town area. That's also mean the traffic is going to be bad and if you plan to Grab or order transportation to airport. Please buffer for extra time.

It was an okay hotel for us to stay as a family. The rooms are clean and toiletries are replaced daily. However, there are no facilities such as swimming pool and gym.

The location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming.The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely  cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent.

The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest. The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach. In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. Shower head water pressure too strong, cannot be adjusted. Housekeeping early morning 9am starting to knock the door twice for make up room until I put do not disturb sign. 24 hours receptionist never answer the call, need to take 1 hour to deliver water and towel for me. Overall, the stay experience was not very good. The room was spacious but felt empty. The price was reasonable and offered value for money, but I would not choose to stay here again. This was a last minute booking. The view from balcony is nice!

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

View from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.

The place is quite spacious. Good for big family
