Malakka Hotels with Parvekkeita

I stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

One of the front desk staff might be a little cold in receiving guest. On another day the front desk staff are much more friendly. But overall a good stay as it's near to town area. That's also mean the traffic is going to be bad and if you plan to Grab or order transportation to airport. Please buffer for extra time.

It was an okay hotel for us to stay as a family. The rooms are clean and toiletries are replaced daily. However, there are no facilities such as swimming pool and gym.

We stayed at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka during our recent family trip and had a generally pleasant stay. We travelled as a family of four, and the room size was comfortable enough for all of us. The layout was practical and there was sufficient space for luggage and movement. The room itself was clean and reasonably well kept, although the hotel does show some signs of aging, particularly in certain fixtures and furnishings. The location is fairly convenient, with easy access to parts of the city and not too far from the main attractions. It worked well for our short family visit around Melaka. One area that could use improvement is the gym, which unfortunately did not appear to be well maintained during our stay. Some of the equipment seemed worn and the overall condition could be better. Overall, the stay was comfortable and decent for families, especially if you are looking for a reasonably spacious room at a fair price. With some refurbishment and better maintenance of facilities, the hotel could definitely enhance the guest experience further.

Booked a room with 2 king beds for a 2 night stay w my family. Pros : 1. Spacious room size 2. Comfy beds 3. Beautiful view (we could see the entire city and our window was facing towards sea) 4. Free Parking 5. 10-15 mins walking distance to the River Cruise 6. No problems with lifts. Just some additional notes for travellers : (If) you don’t want room service to clean your rooms bc you don’t mind reusing your towels, you will not be able to receive the complimentary water bottles. For families with cars, (if) you need to travel back and forth between the hotel and outside, you will always need to stop by the lobby counter to validate your carpark ticket in order to get free parking and it’s only valid for 15 minutes (more than enough time).

The location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming.The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely  cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent.

View from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.

Melaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away. The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip. The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents. Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.
