SkyBay Hotel was great! It's changed it a lot over the past couple years. They have automated check-in now and the selection of cafes and shops in the lobby are very convenient and and open till late. The arcade is tons of fun! Visitors have the option of using the Infiniti pool and sauna for an additional fee.
The staff is helpful, and the room is clean and comfortable. However, in winter you are unable to adjust the temperature of your room. The views are incredible from skyBay Hotel. No wonder they pick this location for the drama business proposal!

호텔 서비스 이용 요금이 너무 비싸요
수영장은 좋으나 야외 공사는 왜 자꾸하는것이며
특히 풀바 치킨은 쓰레기입니다
(시킬만한 메뉴도 없고... 어떻게 신라에서 이렇게 싸구려를 쓰냐고요ㅜㅜ)
또한 수영장 이용시 레지던스동과 호텔의 동선 연결이 안된점도 아쉽고요

마지막으로 바라는점이 있다며
키즈프로그램이 더 있었으면 좋겠습니다

Huoneessa oli pöytä, joten oli hyvä syödä ruokaa, jonka ostin, ja oli hyvä, että kylpyhuone, suihku ja WC erotettiin.
Sänky oli mukava ja OK. Mutta vesi vuoti vähän alas nähdä, oliko siellä mitään huuhtelua kylpyhuoneessa, joten minun piti korjata se keskellä.
Alussa se ei ollut hyvä, koska outo haju kylpyhuoneessa, mutta se mukautettiin nopeasti.
Sijainti on lähellä Sokcho, joten on hyvä mennä markkinoille.

Kävin tarkistamassa kolmelta, mutta ei ollut valmistelua, jotta käyttäjät joutuisivat siihen aikaan, joten minun piti odottaa sisääntuloa yli tunnin ja puoli. Kokonaisuudessaan tilat olivat tyydyttävät ja hyvät, mutta se oli hotelli, joka ei ollut vielä järjestelmällisesti valmiina tavata vieraita. Henkilöstö oli ystävällinen, mutta jokainen osapuoli tunsi, että orgaaninen viestintä ei ollut hyvä, ja kaikki sen aiheuttamat haitat oli käsiteltävä vieraiden.

Would like to commend front desk staff Jason for personally attending to our check-in. He had painstakingly showed us to our Block B apartment room helping to also push 1 of our bags. As the room did not provide us with a sunrise view, had requested for a room change for the 2nd night and Jason himself again personally came to help us with the room transfer movement. His good english was a also pleasant surprise.as also his charming attitude and smiling look. The resort should cherish such young & kind-hearted staff. Kudos to him!
Also, there was a manager (unfortunately could not remember his name who had a christian name to his name tag and slightly burly sized) @ the indoor pool/spa reception who should be praised for also taking the trouble to allow us entry (though we did not book any slot) on our check out day for us to take some photo pics for remembrance. He actually helped us take our couple shot, took the time to showcase us the nice indoor pool and its magnificent balcony view before accompanying us out and showing us the way to the beach. Thank you kind sir!
The fantastic service we received from above 2 gentlemen is really testament to Shillamonogram's astute and comprehensive staff training especially with focus on customer satisfaction. Well done Shillamonogram. Will certainly recommend the resort for a wonderful staycation.
Kokonaisuudessaan majoituksen laatu ei ollut huono, mutta concierge-palvelun ja vastaanoton henkilökunnan epäystävällinen palvelu klo 14 (tunti ennen klo 15 sisäänkirjautumista) oli erittäin pettymys.
Aistin todella, että heidän äänensävynsä oli tyyliin ”Katsokaa, kuinka monta vierasta on saapunut ennen sisäänkirjautumista” ja ”Milloin tämä loppuu?”.
Minun olisi ollut parempi mennä Cassiaan.
설 연휴 맞이해서 오랜만에 가는 가족여행 숙소를 찾다가 신축 호텔이 눈에 띄어서 바로 예약했습니다 저희는 22층으로 배정받았는데 체크인하고 들어서자마자 탁 트인 오션뷰가 보여서 모두 감탄했습니다 마지막날이 설 당일이었는데 다같이 거실에서 일출도 볼 수 있어서 참 좋았어요 4인이 묵었는데 방마다 난방 잘되고 집기류도 잘 구비되어있어서 간단히 음식 챙겨먹기 딱이었어요 그리고 비대면 체크인/체크아웃하는 방식이 개인적으로 편리하더라구요 다른 곳이 다 예약 마감이라 급하게 알아본 숙소인데 새로 지은 건물답게 넓은 주차공간, 깔끔한 객실 등 너무 만족스러웠습니다 다음에 또 속초 방문한다면 재예약 하고싶습니다!
Central location - within walking distance of the Express Bus Station from Seoul. Has free parking with the car lift -convenient. Within walking distance to the Sokcho beach.
Breakfast buffet was included in the package - the same buffet for the 4 days there - would be better if there is variation. Loved the freshly squeezed fruti juice! Still great to have ba full breakfast before my walks at Seoraksan National Park. My room has a great view of the Seoraksan mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, cannot view the sunrise from the room. Had to pay extra for the rooftop pool and we didn't find a time to visit.
Hotel is clean and fun. Our family enjoy much. They have treasure hut and uncountable lego blocks in the room. My girl loves this hotel the most in the whole Seoul trip.
My girl enjoyed the little game in room, the swimming pool, a small warm pool, indoor children playground very very much!
For car parking, we followed the naver map arrive the hotel. When we got there, they didnt allow us to park in front of the hotel, and we need to drive back to their specific parking area, and took shuttle bus back to the hotel again. This action wasted us an hour to go and back, and even waited around 30mins for check in. If they allow us to put down the luggage and do check-in first, and park the car later, that would be much better. It is sad for the 1st impression. And I found the locals would ask the staff to park their car for them to the specific car park. How come this could not be the same to foreign guests?
One more is not good about the dinner buffet. This was paid, W90000. When we got there after swim, around 8-8:30pm, the food left not much.But they close at 9:30pm. They refill slowly slowly.
The price per quality is not hotel strong point, we paid around 250 USD per night, which can only be attributed to hotel location as the rest is quite mediocre (both in terms of amenities and size of the room). Can be described as a basic 3 star city hotel with self check and check out. There are no coffee shops in the same building so you need to go outside if you want to get some nice coffee (or drink capsules coffee in the room). The check in time is 4 pm which is later than the standard time in South Korea. The view is good though.
