"Hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla, vaikkakin 5–7 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, aivan kolmen metroaseman vieressä. Yritimme jopa kävellä kuuluisalta Namban kaupunginosasta, mikä oli varsin miellyttävää. Hotelli itsessään tarjoaa erinomaisen aamiaisen, jota suosittelen lämpimästi. Huoneet ovat siistejä ja täysin varusteltuja. Onsen on ehdottomasti vierailun arvoinen, mutta se on enemmänkin yksityinen vetäytymispaikka, josta puuttuvat avoimet tilat ja vehreys. Baari on hieman tylsä, mutta mukava, että sellainen on. Aulan lähellä on perinteinen kokoustila, jossa on ilmaista vettä ja kahvia sekä pöytiä saatavilla. Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli ja henkilökunta olivat positiivisia."

"Overall is highly recommended. Location is good but not easy to find as the google map doesn’t work in Osaka station, we been lost for few times. Easily to reach shopping mall without go out, all is linked and easy to walk around. I was planning to go Umeda sky building, however i get to stay in 26 floor in the hotel. So i guess i have the same view. Sharing you all the view from my room, luckily i got the sunset room. I guess will be back for my next trip if the price is reasonable. The toilet is dark because the colour of wall is black. There is a guest meeting room on lower floor but it open from 10am to 10pm. It close too early and open too late. I am unable to use it."

"The rooms are small but it provides most things you would need. It’s clean, has room service, a water cooler and ice dispenser outside. For its price and location I’d say it’s reasonable. I like this area because it’s a business district so it’s away from the touristed areas and other shopping districts making it peaceful and away from trouble areas. There is a Mosburger right by, and a famous cafes like Grenier Kitahama within walkable distance. It’s very near the train station as well so you could easily explore the rest of Osaka!"

"LUGGAGE STORAGE 💀 💕Overall the hotel is amazing! Near to 7/11 and Lawson. There’s an airport bus just 5minutes away. However, their luggage storage system, it says there’s free luggage storage but they only allow ONE baggage per person, if there’s 2 ppl in your room then 2 luggages. You can store your other luggages at the mall where the airport bus is, BUT Sundays the storage space is closed and we had to drag our luggages to somewhere else for a whole day….you should have written the one luggage per person instead of free luggage storage at the concierge so that people can plan accordingly."

"The location is excellent ,right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. There is a FamilyMart directly across the street, which is very convenient. The hotel is located just behind Fendi, with Lululemon right opposite. If you go shopping and get tired, it’s very easy to return to the hotel to drop off your bags and head out again. However, there are a few downsides. The hotel is quite dark overall, and there is no daily cleaning service. Towels are not replaced unless you specifically request it. Overall, this hotel is perfect for shopping and convenience, but if you prefer brighter rooms or daily housekeeping, you may want to consider this before booking."

"Everything was perfect except the room is too small! This was my 2nd time in this hotel and this time, the room size was smaller than the 1st time. It’s not much space to put your small luggage. But breakfast buffet was great and location is perfect for me!"

"We stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD. This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself. While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well. One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight! During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda. With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots. The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils. Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again."

"I’ve always loved this hotel — the location is superb, and the room size is amazing. I visit Osaka twice a year and have always stayed here without ever switching to another hotel. During our last two stays, however, we experienced an issue with the toilet, as the flush was not working properly. The staff kindly arranged a room change, which we appreciated. Everything was fine until one staff member informed us, “We found an ice cream stick inside the toilet. Please do not dispose of anything other than tissue.” Honestly, the wording was quite uncomfortable. A more considerate approach, such as “We found an ice cream stick in the toilet — may we ask if you had any ice cream?” would have conveyed the situation without sounding accusatory. The way this was communicated felt unnecessarily blaming, which was disappointing given our long-standing loyalty to the hotel."

"Location was next to subway and it works till midnşght. There is 7 eleven under hotel. Also starbucks is on the other side. Room was comfy and quiet for sleeping. Aircondition was very good. Bathroom was good. Laundry at 4th floor and around 5 dolar. There are only 4-5 machines so you might have problem on the line . Also my wise and debit card payment didnt work and l couldnt wash. Prepare your coins(100 yen only) check in was smooth. If you find a good price, you can consider it."
