"An older hotel building that feels like it’s plucked right out of 1995. Service from staff was great. You can tell this place was once top of the line with older wooden furniture and chandeliers. But still a cozy stay. Room feels like it can be a bit dingy and dusty if that bothers you, but we’re okay with that."

"The front desk staff was polite and smiling, and even stepped out of the way to help my husband get into the parking lot. The room was modern and furnished. The water in the bathhouse was a comfortable temperature, though there was a slight bleach smell. I also recommend adding instructions for using the hot springs in the bath room. Many Southeast Asian women were constantly looking around in the bathhouse, seemingly unsure of how to use it."

"The hotel is located in a great shopping area, and there’s a Blue Bottle Coffee on the first floor—perfect for a morning boost. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I booked a room for three people, and the size was comfortable enough for two 28” suitcases. The air-conditioning also allows you to adjust the temperature easily."

"Exterior looks old. Room is newly renovated with microwave and fridge in the room. However all of us think that the heater is not working except the staff. Other than that, all was good."

"Location is perfect right next to Kanayama train station which is connected to train and subway network. The staff were polite and helpful. Just one issue during our stay: We booked a three-bedroom where a sofa bed was not fully flat. I slept for the first night feeling discomfort at low back. We called the hotel service desk and the lady staff was very helpful to add a layer of blanket underneath the mattress to help. While it’s not perfect but it still felt better for remaining few nights of sleep. Suggest the hotel to review this issue especially for guest staying for a few nights."

"The room was awesome!! Very spacious even for a family of 4. Wifi was fast and has youtube channel which kids gave 3 cheers for that. Front desk service was spectacular. We arrived by car and staff already came out to welcome us. And since we were in a rush to return our car, the staff proactively offer to help sent our luggages to our room (luckily we had done the online check in in advance) and I had to say with this money spent, we got 5 star hotel service. Plus the amenities they provided might even better than some 4,5 stars hotel. Location wise, it situated in a 8-10 mins walk from the subway, with convenient stores and pharmacy nearby. However you might find it not that “safe” downstairs since there’s clubs and pubs around. Apart from that, this hotel worths every penny spent. High recommended."

While the hotel's location is not particularly close to the train station, the surrounding area is quiet and pleasant if you're looking to have some distance from the crowds. The hotel itself is relatively new and well-appointed. One potential concern is the parking situation - the on-site parking spots are often full, both during the day and at night. However, there are some available public parking areas within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, despite the slightly inconvenient location in terms of public transportation access.

Fantastic theming in the rooms and hotel generally. Great for our 2 and 4 year old boys. The gifts inside the Treasure Chest are great. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. We also spent two nights at Disney Resort Toy Story hotel and found the Legoland Hotel to be better. The only things I think could be improved would be the sound proofing of rooms - our kids slept at 8pm and you can hear all the kids/people talking and walking in the hallway outside. The water play area also gets booked out literally one minute after it opens (12pm) so we had no chance to use it even though I was on the website at 12.09pm. It feels a bit like false advertising of a hotel feature when it’s not even possible to access.

The location is great because it’s not too far from the JR Nagoya Station, so it was easy to get to places. The room was all clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even organized activities for guests to enjoy. It was great fun and the breakfast was really great! I loved it there.

We had a great time at this hotel . Buy hard to find the reception where it’s located at the 7F of the building . And only supply one big towels supply itho we had booked twin beds room for two adults . No live channels of TV .

We stayed a night and enjoyed this hotel. The bed was a bit small but the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel includes as part of the reservation soba noodles, ice-cream, coffee/tea, yogurt drinks, and a comic book room and onsen (which we did not use). Parking was a bit expensive at 1800yen but was effortless as it had its own car park elevator so we did not need to find a space. The only complaint is that the heater did not work.

Front Desk staffs were very helpful and they helped to make restaurant reservations. Room was spacious and clean. Location is good and is close to JR Nagoya. Overall good hotel, if price is a little bit cheaper, it will be better value for money.

It’s an old hotel however, it’s relatively well maintained and very clean. Room is clean and spacious. Location is superb. It’s located at Nagoya Station and has easy access to other local trains such as the Meitetsu and Kintetsu (these are local metro which has their own station within Nagoya station). And this hotel has direct access at 3F to the bus terminal as well.
View out of the room is great and there’s lots of natural light.
There used to be a department store at the lower level of the hotel (The hotel company actually runs the Meitetsu metro and the department store) however in February 2026, the department store has since closed down as there were plans to re-modernise the entire building

I'm a local and I stayed this hotel because I had a meeting with my close friend at a restaurant near here. I didn't want to go back home in the midnight by taxi.
The location is good enough, close to Chikusa station. You can arrive at the entrance through the underground pass from the station.
The facilities are good, but not new, not super excellent.
To stay here one or two nights for a business might be fine, but I do not recommend you for tourism.
Good enough as a business hotel.
