"Our stay at this hotel had both positives and inconveniences, and I want to share a clear and balanced overview for future guests. The room itself was comfortable enough for a short stay, and housekeeping did come daily, which we appreciated. However, there were small details that detracted from the overall experience. For example, the sheet on the bed had been put on upside down when we arrived. Not a major issue, but it did make the room feel a bit less carefully prepared. Housekeeping also missed some very obvious trash. We had several empty water bottles that were piling up in one corner of the room, and although we didn’t place them directly next to the bin, it should still have been clear that they were trash. The bin provided was extremely small, so there wasn’t really a practical place to put them. It would have been helpful if the cleaning staff had removed them during their daily visit. Another thing travelers should know is that the hotel is located on a steep street. While this might not bother everyone, it can be tiring and inconvenient,especially when carrying bags or walking back after a long day out. The biggest issue for us, though, was the heavy presence of cigarette smoke in and around the hotel. This isn’t the hotel’s fault directly, but it truly affected our stay. It felt like almost everyone smoked, and the smell was noticeable as soon as we stepped outside and even in the lobby at times. For non-smokers or anyone sensitive to smoke, this can make the stay uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel has some good points, but the combination of minor housekeeping issues, the steep location, and the constant smoke in the surroundings meant we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we had hoped."

"Room was very nice for a stop over hotel. I didn't need cash for my 24 hour stay as I could Uber and the staff at hotel take orders via credit card for delivery from a local restaurant and there is also a vending machine that takes card in the lobby. Uber was £12 from the airport and took 20 minutes (had more luck booking one from the airport metro station than the terminal). If you factor the transfer price in, it's still a good deal as I got the stay for £23 with Trip.com"

"Its a best budget hotel around Sultanmet area walkable distance to major tourist attractions. Conveniently located in the proximity of public transport. Delicious breakfast option available. Friendly staff and are so welcoming. Azat , one of the staff member who is very friendly and upgraded our room for free. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a budget stay in Istambul prime area"

"Stayed here for two nights, but wish I could stay longer! The location is excellent, in an alley just a stone's throw away from all the action in Taksim. There's affordable food options nearby, nice bars, desserts stores, and it isn't too noisy on the second floor where we stayed. The room itself was very clean on arrival. We were upgraded for free to a family suite, I think because it was a last minute booking and they did not have a room available. The family suite can comfortably fit 4 people, with a big comfortable bed and pullout couches that connect (but we didn't use those, so cant review). In the basement you'll find a Turkish bath company (which appears to have a partnership with AKKA but is not necessarily related) and we had a pleasant experience getting cleaned up there after a long day of walking around. Felt very convenient! Service wise, reception is very friendly and helpful. Arranged taxi to airport for us, available 24/7. Only issues I noticed were that our room seemed to have a few mosquitos - not sure how they got in. There was a latent humidity in the air, though (but we didnt open the windows so maybe this issue would have been relieved if we did). Room service could be improved - they came to clean the room the first morning even though we left at around 12pm, but it seems they forgot to refill our water bottles and coffee sachets. All in all these are small issues though! For such a clean, premium feeling, and conveniently located hotel, I'd happily pay the price I did for many more nights."

"I stayed in Chamber of boheme for four nights, rooms was clean. No bad smell . Behavior of staff was nice and friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast you can order anytime(you should pay for breakfast). Enjoyable black tea and special pizza of here is highly recommended.although it is in istiklal street but it not noisy. Very cozy. I will come back again later. Here you don’t need Gym. 😉. Choose it."

"I stayed here for three nights and still come to the cafe even after finding a long-stay flat because it’s a great, quiet place for travelers to eat or work. The room is clean, with hot water, plenty of free coffee and tea, toiletries, and a safe. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, and the cleaners do a great job. The neighborhood itself is fairly quiet for a tourist area. The main boulevard about two blocks away has everything you need, and all the major Istanbul monuments, the metro, and the waterfront are within walking distance. I recommend it."

The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages—it is within walking distance of major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar, which made sightseeing very easy and enjoyable. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, with daily housekeeping. The bed was cozy, and the room had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Despite being in a busy tourist area, the hotel was quiet and peaceful at night. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They were happy to give directions, answer questions, and make sure my stay was comfortable. Their hospitality really made a difference. Overall, Rijji Hotel offers great value for money, excellent service, and a perfect location in the heart of the Old City. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul."
