I rate the hotel in terms of price and quality. Considering the fairly low cost of renting a hotel room, I rate the stay quite highly. The hotel itself is located quite close to the center, within walking distance of shops, the metro, and some of the main attractions of the city of Xi'an. I would like to separately highlight the cleaning of the rooms, which conscientiously performed their duties every day. I previously had the experience of renting a hotel in Turkey in the city of Antalya, and they cleaned there only when they apparently wanted to. I could hang a sign saying do not disturb, but the staff still came in. Here, cleaning was done every day for a week and only on request (sign) or when we were not in the room, even when we forgot to hang it. Special thanks to the administrative staff at the reception, who helped in every possible way in solving problems. Of the minuses, I will note the following: - for us it was a surprise that there was no refrigerator and safe in the room. I consider this a minus that needs to be improved. - when booking, it was indicated that a razor was included. It was not. - Terrible elevator logistics. This point urgently needs to be improved! You enter the hotel on the first floor, enter the elevator. To go up to the 5th floor, you first need to go up to the second, there go along the corridor to another elevator. On the fifth floor there are 2 elevators that come as they want. In fact, there is one main elevator - the right one, or the left elevator can come, which does not have an exit to the second floor. The constant struggle with these elevators took at least 10 minutes. Because the elevator that was needed stubbornly did not want to come. - One of the advantages is free washing and drying of clothes. But immediately a big minus. The laundry is on the second floor of the hotel. There is one washing machine for the entire department, as well as a machine for drying clothes. Considering the hot weather in the city of Xi'an, people wash there constantly and the queues for washing and drying are huge. Install at least one more machine. This will significantly simplify the life of hotel customers and raise your rating.

西安鐘樓旁的神仙酒店，住進古城的煙火裏！來西安玩，選這家鐘樓附近的酒店真的是挖到寶了！果斷五星好評！位置真的絕了，步行到鐘樓也就幾分鐘，傍晚溜達着去看鐘樓夜景，吹着晚風別提多舒服了。周邊交通超便利，地鐵口近在咫尺，去兵馬俑、大唐不夜城這些景點都很方便，樓下還有不少地道的西安小吃，肉夾饃、涼皮、羊肉泡饃應有盡有，吃貨真的會狂喜！房間佈置得温馨又舒適，床品乾淨柔軟，躺上去瞬間卸下旅途疲憊。房間裏的設施很齊全，智能馬桶用着很順手，空調製熱效果超棒，冬天入住也暖乎乎的。最值得誇的是隔音，窗外是熱鬧的街市，房間裏卻安靜得很，一夜好眠到天亮。服務更是貼心到心坎裏，前台小哥辦理入住又快又熱情，還主動給我們遞熱水、送西安旅遊攻略。每天出門回來，房間都被打掃得一塵不染，連洗漱台的水漬都擦得乾乾淨淨，阿姨還會把我們隨手放的行李擺得整整齊齊，真的太暖心了！性價比超高，不管是情侶出遊還是家庭旅行都很合適，下次來西安，必須還住這家！

Great room and beds, perfect for 3 adults. Breakfast was small but flavorful, and the front desk has free tea for guests. Service was great! Only qualm was that there was a pretty strong smoke smell in the corridors and room.

Cons: - Service was unprofessional. During check in on the first day, the front desk staff seemed clueless as to what he was supposed to do — he asked for our name (which was in English as we made the booking on Trip.com) and did not seem to be able to find our booking. Following this, he did not seem to know how to solve the problem and neither did he take the initiative to ask us for our passport. I had to offer our passport to him to help him find our booking. - After checking us in, the front desk staff did not provide any details as to where the restaurant was (as our package was inclusive of breakfast). Neither did he provide details as to where the washing machine and gym rooms were until we asked for these details. No instructions were given for connecting to the hotel WiFi, and we had to thereafter ask the staff for help with the connection as foreigners were unable to connect to the WiFi via the usual methods. - On the second day of our stay, we received a call from the front desk, who said that they were calling to verify our booking, as they were facing a shortage of rooms. This threw us off as it seemed that the hotel did not do their job of checking us in properly and the staff were not familiar with their own front desk or hotel procedures. Further, the staff made it sound as if we should bear the brunt of the consequences for this error and that we would have to move out given that they did not check us in properly and were facing a shortage of rooms. We had to emphasise again that our booking was confirmed on Trip.com. - One of the front desk staff who was on the night shift was also inattentive, rude and unprofessional. She was using her phone when we informed her that our room needed to be cleaned for the day, and subsequently did not seem to make a note of what we had told her. She merely gave us a dismissive “ok” and went back to using her phone. - The hallways would often have a strong cigarette smell even though we had requested for a non-smoking floor - As previous reviews had highlighted, the shower’s heating system would fluctuate between being hot and cold all of a sudden, which made it easy for users to fall sick especially in winter or be at risk of being scalded by the shower system. It would be good for the hotel to look into this, especially since this has not been fixed since the issue was surfaced in previous reviews - Location-wise there was a bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance, and lots of neighbourhood eateries nearby. However, the metro was rather far (about a 15 minute walk), unlike what is represented on the hotel’s Trip.com page. For those who would like to stay closer to the attractions such as the Bell and Drum tower and shopping malls, this location might be less ideal depending on preference. - One of the cleaning staff who cleaned our room on 27 December 2025 did not clean our room despite being reminded to do so, and when she eventually came, she did a slipshod job — she failed to refill the vanity kit, and while tidying the study desk, knocked over our boxes and bottles and did not even attempt to reorganise our items properly after leaving them in such a state. Pros: - Cleanliness was excellent and must be commended. The room, bedsheets, towels and amenities were always clean and spotless every day, which made this a pleasant and comfortable stay. - Most of the staff responsible for tidying our rooms were all extremely friendly and diligent, and was truly the highlight of our stay. They were also generous if we needed to request for more bottles of water or tissues. We had a pleasant experience with most of the cleaning staff, with the exception of one of them as mentioned above. - Hotel is very high-tech, with smart controls installed in the room which made it very convenient to access the lights, TV and air conditioning - Facilities including the hairdryer were very new and cleano

The hotel staff are amazing and very welcoming and kind and helpful. I arrived at midnight around 3:30 but still a beautiful girl was communicating with me until I didn't arrive and she helped me out to get in my room and she provided an upgraded room. Room service is quite good with almost all amenities. The location is amazing around the hotel there are two super big malls and there are several shops and street food to enjoy. Easy to get everything including the transport facility. I enjoyed a lot in my 5 days staying in this hotel and I would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you are planning to travel in Xi'an. I would be glad to come back again during the December break. Thanks!

The hotel is on the rooftop of a building that has mainly food stalls. It was a bit tricky to get in, but once you find the elevator its easy. Else use the escalator two times and you‘re directly there. Behind the hotel is a hairdresser(for your orientation in case you don‘t see the little building immediately) The view is really nice! Inside you‘re greeted by not only one but three kitties.  The host was welcoming and stored my luggage because it was not check in time yet. I went to see the terracotta army. I recieved my passcode via Wechat and when i got into my room, my bag was already inside. I enjoyed the night view and there is a play you can listen to from afar. The afternoon tea and breakfast was nice. It wasn‘t like a gourmet experience, but tasted simple and made me appreciate the little things in life. The place is nicely decorated. I had the room with the sky view. The bed was soft. I almost went for the tatami room, but I realized the bed wouldn‘t be soft. So if you book think about what kind of experience you want. I think this place has 4 double bed rooms (2 soft bed, 2 tatami) and a family room.  Overall I definitely recommend this place. It‘s just so lovely pet and play with the cats. Luckily all of them love getting pet. Orange is just a little more shy, but is willing to with patience.  The reason I chose this is because it‘s close to the terracotta army. And I specifically chose this because Iike the interior. I always have a hard time picking hotels because I want it looking nice from the inside. I didn‘t with this one and it was worth it!

A real gem in China! Friendly staff, who were very happy to help with tickets for attractions and shows, as well as provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is well located for everything and for anything further afield, Xi'an's Didis are inexpensive and the drivers are generally super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast selections were fine, everything is cooked to order, which we all liked as usual hotel buffets tend to be less fresh and hot. The hotel was quirky and interesting, and my children really enjoyed their time at the cat cafe. All in all, a fantastic stay in a comfortable, well appointed and very reasonably priced hotel.

Great location within the city walls. Quick check-in. Good housekeeping. Big projector in room instead of an ordinary smart TV. The only odd thing is that you can see (blurred) in the bathroom from the bedroom. Since condoms are also provided, I think this hotel attracts a variety of people.

This is a difficult review to write. There’s a lot I like about Joke Inn - it’s in a cool location, the room was nice,and the staff are friendly. And I should mention - I don’t have experience with the inner, courtyard facing rooms - this is just about street-facing rooms…. I saw the reviews talking about noise and figured it was just normal street noise - which as a New Yorker I’m fine with. But what we experienced was FAR beyond regular street noise. We had a room facing the street (and the Xi’an city wall) and the issue is that there are two live music venues on the ground floor that compete by blasting the music - which bounces off the city wall into the room. The music goes until 2am every night (not just weekends). The earplugs they give you don’t even begin to be enough. After getting just 4 hours of sleep the first night I managed the next 3 nights by taking a sleeping pill and wearing huge uncomfortable noise canceling headphones. That should never be necessary in a hotel. So the bottom line in my opinion is the owners need to figure out if they’re in the entertainment business or the hotel business because the two don’t mix - at least not for the street-facing rooms.

地理位置離火車站很近，也就幾百米，酒店在大明宮宴的內部，酒店門前有着一路的紅色氛圍燈，建議夜晚入住。房內設施和攜程界面描述完全一致，解構風裝修尤為獨特，內部設施的觀賞性很好，早起陽光明媚，拉開窗簾可以看見近在咫尺的火車軌道，還有列車上的人們的笑臉。當然夜晚還可以伴着列車駛過的聲音入睡，推薦睡眠質量好且喜歡火車高鐵風景的朋友來入住。
