Lemmikkiystävälliset hotellit kohteessa Xi’an

This is my first trip outside of my country so I was nervous, but as soon as I arrived I felt at home. The hosts are very accomodating even if we don’t speak the language, over our 10 day stay we became friends. Everything is clean and beautiful. There were so many amenities free of charge and we were offered gorgeous local and in-season produce such as pomegranates and persimmons. The view of the mountain is breathtaking and the neighbours are very friendly. The home cooking is to die for! The best food we had all trip was at home so I highly recommend trying some. It is also so close to HuaQingGong, the Terracotta Warriors, scenic persimmon orchards and all that Lintong has to offer. We will miss the inn dearly. 5 stars all around

Ding-Ying is an artist and generous host!! She is the friendliest person ever! So warm and caring! She will treat you like you’re her family and an honoured guest. She told us that she believes that all her Guest must’ve been her close friends or relatives in previous lives. Her place is beautifully decorated and renovated. So many Natural objects reflecting her love of nature and her creativity. On the practical side this place is really close to a convenience subway stop it is only five or seven minutes drive to the famous Huaxing Palace, and probably 15-20 minutes to the terracotta Warriors. So it makes an excellent base outside of the main city of Xi’an, to spend a few nights. You will experience beautiful Chinese hospitality. Ding Ling was very generous with her time. She even taught to me how to make dumplings!! it was very fun! I am from New Zealand and have stayed at many bed-and-breakfast and AirBnb’s, and this lovely Homestay rates very highly. Please note the five floors the top floor room has a beautiful rooftop courtyard. It is the best room however it would suit well off backpackers/flashpackers! Ding-Ying is more than happy to help carry the suitcase up several flights of stairs. We stayed in a double room on level two. It was me and my friend. We both highly recommend this place to many travellers!!

Clean and and convenient place to stay, it is located at a quiet and safe side street just few minutes walk from the terracotta warriors museum. Owners don't speak much English yet, although they are trying to learn (maybe next year they will know!). For now, simple communication using phone translation (voice and typing) is convenient. Hosts are friendly, they are husband and wife and the place is their home renovated. Feels like a homestay (with privacy as rooms are ensuite). They will provide breakfast. For lunch and dinner (paid separately but well priced) they can cook to order spicy or non spicy (your choice of food, again, order using Google translate). Taste of food is homey and tasty. Especially relaxing for stay the night just before a next morning visit to terracotta warriors museum, and return for lunch and unwinding before moving on to next part of journey. In case not rushed in time and staying for more than one night, may I suggest going to one of the Lintong District Onsens (15min by taxi), feel the history and relax by dipping in the same onsen source as Yang Guifei at Huaqing Pools - clean and have lots of outdoor pools, dry rock sauna, and rest areas, felt like having an onsen day in Japan. Can easily spend a whole day (we spent 6hrs and still wanted to spend more). Can ask owners for recommendation. We first stayed last year October when looking for accommodation near the terracotta warrior museum, booked to come back this year to relax and visit the less visited spots, hopefully next year we want to return. My son already misses the friendly cat nextdoors. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and I would recommend it 110%. I was extremely surprised when I came back to the hotel every evening to find that the room service personnel had left snacks, fruits and a first aid kit on my counter for my use. This hotel was simple yet it exceeded expectations and cared for the guests from check-in to check-out. In addition, all the staff that I encountered were polite and willing to help during my stay!

I don't know whether it's just me but my hotel and Bnb choices hahaha it's sooo amazing! Okay so for this place, first I want to say thank you to the receptionist for handling everything in a great job! Despite they can't really speak in English,they help me a lot with the help of weixin! They even help me to take my parcel (which is a huge luggage that I ordered from taobao😭) 1.Location + It's soooooooooo nearby to everything! (LITERALLY WALKABLE TO EVERYTHING) Like the malls just besides it,the place that young people hangout also nearby,the Xian historical areas also nearby! and yes the place to pickup your parcel is just Infront of the place😭😭😭! It's soooooo convenient + Train stations is just 5 minutes walking! Bruh it's soooo amazing! + Food? Don't even say anything! Just besides the place have all kinds of food that you need! For me as a Muslims also! It's really nice! 2. The room + Oh god should I say more? The pictures explains everything! It's sooooo pretty and neat! The cleanliness is everything! I love that we had 2 huge bed for both of us hahaha and the toilet also had an led lights for us to apply makeup + I love that the ayi always ask us for anything that we need (eventhough we had to buy our own towels as we are not that comfortable to use the disposable towels, but it's our own problems not the place okay!) as they provide us with tons of things to make it easier for us!! 3. Service + Oh god they are sooooooo helpful, so one time I ask whether they have like a self laundry area,and they said I can sent the washing machine to your room (at that point I was sooo shoketh cause I thought the translations have some kind of problems hahaha,but it's not! ) they literally sent me the washing machine and even help me to install it 😭 + The cleaning ayi is sooooo helpfull! Love her sweetness and kindness despite our broken mandarin hahaha Okay so yeah this place have a really nice room! Just one thing, it's nearby food stalls and shops so it can be a little bit loud during the night,but yeah just put your earplugs on and sleep,it's going to be fine!

我們是五個大老爺們入住，住得非常舒服，這個就是在小區裏的民宿，裝修很好，周圍安靜，設施齊全，地暖很暖和，開着窗户都不冷，新風空調啥的都沒毛病，小區管理很嚴，周圍就是萬達和兩條小吃街！吃的應有盡有，不過在房間吃太舒服了，有兩天晚上我們都故意打包回來吃的，吃完打麻將打撲克…都不想出去玩了；周圍交通很方便，走幾步就是地鐵站；有兩間卧室是一個小套房，一間帶獨衞，還有兩間用一個衞生間，三個衞生間確實足夠用了總之，大平層住着真舒服啊

We arrived at 6 pm and the room was not ready. They explained they offered late check out and that’s why it wasn’t cleaned yet,. However, they offer us a late check too and took our luggage to the room when it was ready while we had dinner and explored the city. They give you a code to enter the room. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family (2 Adults + 2 Kids). It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!!! The toilets were modern. It had a kitchen that we didn’t use. It also had a washing machine with a place to dry the clothes! This really save us! The location was great, right in the city’s heart. We arrived at Xian north and it has a direct metro line 2 (27 min). You also have the Muslim quarter from 1 metro station stop. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay longer.

This is a difficult review to write. There’s a lot I like about Joke Inn - it’s in a cool location, the room was nice,and the staff are friendly. And I should mention - I don’t have experience with the inner, courtyard facing rooms - this is just about street-facing rooms…. I saw the reviews talking about noise and figured it was just normal street noise - which as a New Yorker I’m fine with. But what we experienced was FAR beyond regular street noise. We had a room facing the street (and the Xi’an city wall) and the issue is that there are two live music venues on the ground floor that compete by blasting the music - which bounces off the city wall into the room. The music goes until 2am every night (not just weekends). The earplugs they give you don’t even begin to be enough. After getting just 4 hours of sleep the first night I managed the next 3 nights by taking a sleeping pill and wearing huge uncomfortable noise canceling headphones. That should never be necessary in a hotel. So the bottom line in my opinion is the owners need to figure out if they’re in the entertainment business or the hotel business because the two don’t mix - at least not for the street-facing rooms.

The new branch is really good with clean room, enough space for 4 people. It is near the center and close to train station. It is equipped with towels, kettle, ... To sum up, this is a good hotel and worth the money.
