"When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. "This is one great place to stay at. The owner was super friendly and helpful. She went beyond what was needed to make her guests feel welcome, comfortable and settled. She was really helpful because even after I have checked out of the hotel, she tried her utmost to help me with a courier package which I was having trouble to get delivered to my destination. The room in the hotel was spacious and clean. The best part is that it is located right in the middle of a food street within the small town. There was basically no shortage of choices for local food. The hotel also offers free ferry service to pick me up at the train station and it also provides a free sauna service that is located in another venue. All in all, the service was superb and I definitely enjoyed staying in this hotel. I definitely would return to this hotel sometime soon."
