There are Tibetan restaurants, Chinese food, hot pot, and barbecue. , convenience stores, pharmacies, KFC restaurants, etc., are all available. In front of the hotel, there are sightseeing walking paths and cycling paths along the river, which are convenient for walking or cycling to view the scenery.The hotel has reasonable design, novel decoration, well-equipped facilities, 24-hour hot water, wireless WiFi, central air-conditioning, high-quality bedding, and a small parking lot in the hotel.
"An exceptional stay at Starry Sky Hotel. The service was outstanding, especially from the staff who were incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived early at around 11:30 AM and were graciously accommodated with an early check-in, which made a big difference after our journey. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the Jiuzhaigou National Park entrance, bus pick-up point and easily accessible halal food options, making it very convenient for travellers. We also appreciated the luggage storage service while we visited Jiuzhaigou National Park the next day. A truly pleasant and seamless experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou."

"Spent two nights here during the winter. Pros: Location is superb. The famous tomato yak hotpot is just right outside. There is a bus pick up point nearby. 15 min walk to Jiuzhaigou Park. Service was friendly. Big space. Loved the fireplace look alike heater. Cons: Bathroom floor was freezing. Water pressure is not as strong. Hard to control the temperature. There is only one washing machine and it was at the corner of the corridor with no lights. No proper bottle for detergent. Overall it is good. It's very cost effective for such a nice location."

"Stayed 2 nights during our trip to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou National Park in March 2026. The room is very clean and located along 边边街. You can see and hear the stream running right outside the room window which is so beautiful. This SFEEL hotel in Jiuzhaigou is much nicer compared to the SFEEL hotel we stayed in Chengdu Chunxi Road. However, the location is rather quiet at night compared to Pengfeng Village nearer to the park entrance with not much shops or restaurants. Maybe because it was low season in March.You can walk to Jiuzhaigou National Park entrance in about 20 to 30 min or take a taxi for about CNY15 to reach in just 5 min. The hotel is quite far from Moonbay parking lot. However, you can take the shuttle bus to Huanglong Jiuzhai high speed railway station from 国大停车场 instead located just 5 min walk from the hotel which u can buy tickets online or on the spot. There is a washer and dryer at the ground floor beside the hotel reception although we did not use it. Overall, we had a really comfortable stay at this hotel."

"Hosts were friendly and accommodating, making us felt right at home. We didn’t get a chance to try their dinner which was a pity but breakfast was great especially the homemade bun. Room was clean with heated flooring, so we don’t feel cold at all in early Nov! Abit of distance to Jiuzhaigou scenic entrance but not an issue as they will be taking you there(also when we reach and depart to the nearest bus station at Xingyu Hotel), which is good for us as it’s away from hustling and bustling. Highly recommended👍"

"Will not stay here again in the future. The weather is so cold and they dont have heater in the lobby plus the heater not really function. The hotel staff not really helpful and cold. I read the review saying staff very helpful but not in my case. The guy is okay at least helping with translation but the woman is angry and not even trying to help"

The accommodation is very cute. The owner is very hospitable, has a good personality, gives good advice and helps with everything very well. We don't have a return bus to the train high speed realway station. The owner made a reservation. In the morning, the owner also drives the car to the Jiuzhaigou. On the way back it was very easy with both bus and taxi. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. The room is clean and cute. There is also a ******* costume. The dress came out very cute. You can take pictures at the hotel's restaurant that go well with the outfit. The food is very delicious. Especially the yak hot pot and stir-fried vegetables and milk tea. If I travel there again, I will definitely stay here again. Very impressed. And I love cats

If I could give an infinity rating, I absolutely would. It was a beautiful and very clean stay. The hotel is quite new, and the environment is extremely peaceful. The garden is also very beautiful and well maintained. The classic design made me feel like I had gone back in time. But what truly stood out was the owner and his family—they were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Even before I arrived, I asked many questions about Chengdu, and he was willing to call me in Malaysia just to explain everything. He also made sure I had a driver and affordable, safe transportation for my trips. He even personally offered to bring us to the national park, halal restaurants, the mosque, and shopping places in Nanping Town, all at a very reasonable price. I was traveling with a baby who is around the same age as Alan’s child. Alan’s parents and family treated my baby so kindly, and they even prepared baby food for my child. Since we are Muslim, they did their best to provide halal food for us. Alan was truly kind and always willing to help with anything. I am very grateful to the hotel owner.

I am not the type of person who usually leaves a review unless I am really impressed. Also, my mom, who traveled and stayed with me at this hotel, told me to give this place a good review and a 5-star rating because of the great experience we had. Even before we arrived, I contacted the hotel to make sure which type of room would fit all of us, and to ask about the weather and what clothes and items we should prepare. We also asked them to make sure that the taxi driver who picked us up from the station was safe and had a work permit. All of our messages were replied to within seconds or minutes. During our stay, they provided a lot of free mineral water bottles, which was very important for us, so we never ran out of water. They also provided very good and complete amenities. On the first night, the floor heater in our room was not working, so they gave us an additional large heater, which made the room very warm and comfortable. They also provided drop off and pick up service to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, which really helped us, so we didn’t need to walk about 800 meters to 1 km in below-zero temperatures. They even helped us book a taxi when we were going back to the station. Although they missed our request for a bigger car (since there were four of us with big luggage), I understand that it was difficult to find that kind of car at that time. The driver who took us — I’m not sure, who he is, but I think he is the boss (since the staff, asked lots of questions to him)— could speak English quite well and understood us even though we spoke broken Chinese. They also gave us a late check out at 3pm Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying here. They treated us not just as guests or customers, but really cared about making sure we had the best experience while visiting Jiuzhaigou. The only downside of this hotel is that the bathroom is a bit small and there are no hooks to hang towels or clothes. However, this was not a big issue for us at all. I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel.

Excellent ratio price/quality! The boss is nice and patiently answered all of my questions. However, he cannot help planning trips to Jiuzhaigou valley. He offers free drop-offs and free pickups, which is very convenient. As for the room, it was nice and clean, the bed seemed more comfortable (softer) than average hostel beds in China. The shower is in the same room as the toilet but because the bathroom is big, the toilet doesn’t get wet. I’m a solo traveller, so I was afraid in terms of transportation, but the boss helped me get to the places I wanted to for a low cost. For example, he helped me book a carpool to go from the railway station to his hotel. One of my highlights of this stay is when the boss informed me that there were two restaurants and one convenient store that were one minute away of walk from the hotel. They open at 6 am and the prices are fair, which is very convenient. The restaurant that is more uphill even has a vegetarian section, which I was very grateful for since I don’t eat meat. Oh and there’s no fridge in the hotel.

Nice little hotel at a very popular area. Like many of the other hotels it is in a building nestled between other buildings. Its a 4 storey hotel side by side with other hotels. Windows open up to give you a view of the alley between buildings with the wall of the next building less than 2 meters away. This is good enough for 1-2 nights stay when visiting the Jiuzhaigou park. You can walk to the park entrance which is less than a kilometer away. Room is well kept, clean and warm. Bathroom has ventilation and hot water all the time. The bed and pillows are harder than my usual bed so I did not sleep well. Others might find it just right. Disposable towels are provided which is basically like wiping with a large piece of absorbent paper. This is fine in Autumn and Winter as the water dries off your body quickly. For better self comfort bring your own small towel. They clean the room daily but do not make the bed so as not to touch personal items. There is no lift but the hotel staff will help you to carry your bags to your room. Value for money. For this price cannot expect too much.

Jiuzhaigou is a popular tourist destination, so hotels nearby are understandably expensive—especially during holidays. For that reason, I chose to stay a bit farther away, in a hostel instead of a hotel. This hostel recently reopened in 2025, which was one of the reasons I decided to give it a try. While the amenities are new, I noticed that cleanliness could use some improvement. There was visible dust in several corners and hard-to-reach areas, which gave the place a slightly unkempt feel. The bathroom, although newly fitted, also had minor drainage issues—the shower tended to clog a little, possibly due to accumulated hair. The hostel provides a laundry room, which I initially planned to use, but I didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the environment after entering, so I decided not to. They also offer a simple breakfast for an additional fee (around 15 CNY, if I remember correctly). It’s a nice option for travelers who want to grab a quick bite before heading out for hiking or sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. I noticed that many reviews mentioned the owner as very welcoming and friendly. However, since I arrived late after visiting the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, I didn’t have much interaction with the owner myself. The next morning, I left early for my next destination in Huanglong, so my stay was quite brief. That said, I didn’t experience any discomfort or issues with the service—overall, everything felt perfectly fine. While I don’t expect hostel standards to match those of a hotel, I do believe that cleanliness is the foundation of a good stay. If this aspect improves, I think this place would definitely be worth booking.

Booked this hotel upon arrival and fortunately there was a room available. The rooms have modern furnishings, with a smart TV, climate control, separate toilet, wash basin and shower cabinet. The King sized bed is super comfortable and ensures a good night's sleep. The only negative aspect is the lack of towels (disposable ones are offered). The hot water comes on quickly, a good thing given the icy conditions outside, Rooms are serviced and water is supplied and replenished each day. The hotel has an elevator and is located immediately behind Dico's restaurant. Just 200n from the Huanglong gaotie bus terminal and 1 km from the Jiuzhaigou Park entrance. They accept foreigners.

We got another room when we couldn't sleep due to a power generator next to our window, that was switched on from 10 pm onwards. The first room had a strong cigarette smoke, but the second room was very clean. It's located only ~10 minutes walk from the bus stop and ~25 minutes walk to the entrance of the Jiuzhaigou National Park. The owner is very kind and helpful.
