We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The personal touch and the warm hospitality shone through the moment we arrived. Despite the punishing cold, two of their staff were already standing by the side of the road waiting to welcome us. They ushered us to our room, patiently explained everything and left a contact so we could reach out at any point in time. We needed a late lunch and the kitchen readily whipped up three dishes. We were shown to a private dining room with an amazing view. The food portions were generous, the food was hearty and delicious, and we had the same impeccable service from the young men who had greeted us. The next day they arranged for transport to and from Jiu Zhai Gou National Park for us after a delicious breakfast. When we informed upon our regurn that we'd have to be up at the crack of dawn the following day to make the 2 hour drive to the train station to catch an 8am train, they apologised that they'd not be able to prepare breakfast that early but instead packed us a generous bag of butter cookies, milk, fruit and sweets to fill our stomachs on the road. What seriously mpressed was the fact that they'd taken care of the little details - they washed the grapes and removed the stems before packing them into a paper box. Such is the degree of their attention to detail and hospitality. In fact, they had prepared a sweet potato mash with grilled cheese as one of the dishes for dinner on our first night. We ended up not touching the dish as we were too full and apologised profusely for it. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that they had made the effort to whip up a fresh batch for our dinner on the second night. We made a point to eat (and finish) it this time round and were not disappointed - it was mind-blowingly good! If you want a quiet get-away to relax and be pampered, this is where you'd want to be. They certainly live up to every excellent review they have received. To the extremely polite and unassuming young man who served us for our 3D2N stay, a big thank you! We never got his name but he'll forever be in our hearts and thoughts for making our stay such a memorable one. Of course, special mention must be made of Huahua, their resident dog who brings so much joy to all. Together with the warmth and hospitality of their staff, they have turned what would have been another cookie cutter hotel into a memorable and remarkable stay with the welcoming warmth of home.

風景真的沒的説，裝修風格也太喜歡了，升級了360度全景房，太舒服了。大廳是標準的調酒吧，晚上坐着簡直不要太舒服。 服務周到，行李給搬到房間，所有要求有求必應，給老闆點贊，時間來得不是很好，準備夏秋再來二刷，看彩林雲霧雪山，到時候老闆一定要給我優惠哦 現在説問題，導航目前還不準，害我繞了一段路，大家一定提前聯繫民宿讓寨子門口來接。 注意！到民宿有一段比較窄的路，像我這樣的技術不好的新手女司機可以讓他們代駕一下。 總之體驗非常好，這樣的美景裏醒來實在是太舒服了，強烈推薦他們家！

Our unforgettable stay at “Between the trees and streams” - warm hospitality, pristine rooms, and a mini‑zoo 🦌🦤🐶 We absolutely loved our night at the Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome-kind, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. Their warmth set the tone for a perfect stay. Our room was a dream: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the linens felt fresh and crisp, and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. It’s the kind of space that instantly puts you at ease. And then there’s the surprise that makes this place unforgettable—their charming little zoo! We were delighted to wander outside and find deer gracefully roaming, a curious ostrich adding a playful touch, and three adorable dogs who absolutely stole our hearts. It’s unique, joyful, and perfect for both families and anyone who loves a bit of nature and personality with their stay. If you’re heading to the astounding Jiuzhai Valley National Park, this place makes the adventure even more special. The park’s dreamlike scenery-mirror‑clear lakes in shades of turquoise, terraced mineral pools, cascading waterfalls, and ever‑changing forests left us in awe. After a day of wandering boardwalks and soaking in those views, coming back to the serenity of “Between the trees and streams” felt perfect. The name truly fits the vibe. A flawless blend of heartfelt hospitality, pristine comfort, and nature at its most breathtaking. We’re already planning our return. Five shining stars for you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great traditional tibentan style guest house. Rooms are clean, modern and functional. The breakfast set is delicious too. What really made my stay a fantastic one is the warm hospiality of the host. He went extra miles to send me to see a doctor on the first day and even invited us to tea in the second night's evening, something you don't really get in a normal hotel. Overall i will highly recommend this place as a base to explore jiuzhaigou.

We were touched by the warm hospitality the moment we stepped foot into the hotel. As this is our anniversary trip, Namu even decorated the room prior to our arrival. They are also very kind and thoughtful, offering to help us takeaway our breakfast on the day we leave and also kindly send us to the carpark for our bus back to Chengdu. The driver also ensured that we find our bus before leaving the carpark. Thank you for all the kindness shown to us during our stay ❤️

The people at this place was what made it special. Being a homestay, the staff had a really personal touch to serving its guests. The owner of the place even drove us to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou national park himself. Another bonus were the cats and dogs! The owner has several pets like a golden retriever, corgi, and 2-3 cats that are all extremely cute and well-behaved. Almost every guest that came here would stay at the main hall to pet them and have some fun. The only downsides are that this is not a 5/10 minute walk from the entrance of the park, so you would need to drive/cab (about 6km) to the famed Jiuzhaigou park. Also, it is quite obscure, being hidden away behind a row of shops and up a pretty steep slope. But nonetheless it was a great stay and would definitely come back!

Spent two nights here during the winter. Pros: Location is superb. The famous tomato yak hotpot is just right outside. There is a bus pick up point nearby. 15 min walk to Jiuzhaigou Park. Service was friendly. Big space. Loved the fireplace look alike heater. Cons: Bathroom floor was freezing. Water pressure is not as strong. Hard to control the temperature. There is only one washing machine and it was at the corner of the corridor with no lights. No proper bottle for detergent. Overall it is good. It's very cost effective for such a nice location.

Excellent experience during the travel in jiu zhai gou. Hostel is clean, nearby with a lot of restaurants and convenient stores. The hostel in charge person is very kind and helpful.

Jiuzhaigou is a popular tourist destination, so hotels nearby are understandably expensive—especially during holidays. For that reason, I chose to stay a bit farther away, in a hostel instead of a hotel. This hostel recently reopened in 2025, which was one of the reasons I decided to give it a try. While the amenities are new, I noticed that cleanliness could use some improvement. There was visible dust in several corners and hard-to-reach areas, which gave the place a slightly unkempt feel. The bathroom, although newly fitted, also had minor drainage issues—the shower tended to clog a little, possibly due to accumulated hair. The hostel provides a laundry room, which I initially planned to use, but I didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the environment after entering, so I decided not to. They also offer a simple breakfast for an additional fee (around 15 CNY, if I remember correctly). It’s a nice option for travelers who want to grab a quick bite before heading out for hiking or sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. I noticed that many reviews mentioned the owner as very welcoming and friendly. However, since I arrived late after visiting the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, I didn’t have much interaction with the owner myself. The next morning, I left early for my next destination in Huanglong, so my stay was quite brief. That said, I didn’t experience any discomfort or issues with the service—overall, everything felt perfectly fine. While I don’t expect hostel standards to match those of a hotel, I do believe that cleanliness is the foundation of a good stay. If this aspect improves, I think this place would definitely be worth booking.

It offers cheap accommodation at 20-30mins walking distance from Jiuzhaigou entrance. The dorm bed was nice and amenities were ok. Temperature was ok in the dorm room but quite cold in the corridor and toilet. Did not take a shower so cannot comment on the shower room.
