"Pros: - The manager was nice - Hotel was clean and location is nice - Hot spring is as good as advertised Cons: - We arrived at 7am, no staff was present in the counter and we used the Kiosk machine to virtually contact a staff because we only wanted to drop our bag (likely outsourced as we heard there was customer service like conversation and keyboards in the background). We were told to either drop our luggage next to the kiosk machine or we could wait until 9am as the manager will be back at 9. We weren't aware there was office of a spa hotel so we went out for a coffee and came back at around 8:50 in the morning and waited until 9:10. We called again and the lady said the manager will be back at 10am. We wanna make sure if there was staff actually coming but the kiosk cut our line and never picked up our call again. We had no choice but to wait and at last we waited till 9:45 (almost a 3 hour wait) and finally we could drop our bag. If there was office hour of the hotel it should be clearly stated for bad drop and available reception office hour. When we checked out, we would like to keep our bags and the female staff (not the friendly manager mentioned in the pros) was rather rude and told us we could only leave our bag here until 4pm, and told us. in Korea you can only keep your bag until 4. I wasn't sure if it is true but it was different to my previous experience in other Korean hotel. Overall I would say the hotel was nice, certainly not spacious but it was clean and tidy. Good environment overall I would say. It was however not an enjoyable experience because of the staff and services provided. Be reminded to check their office hours when planning your trip."

"The location is excellent. It’s walkable distance to Starfield Coex. Nice cafe, restaurants and convenience store nearby. Check in/our process is quick and easy. 0 seconds wait time. The room itself is clean and well equipped. Clean towels and water refill everyday. The only thing is, clean up service only come once in 4 days, but there isn’t any cleaning towel or detergent in the room, so it could make things quite messy if you eat in the unit. Overall, recommended for family."

"I have stayed in many hotels on this budget range in Central seoul. This is the best one you can get. Very good for a solo traveller. They do not want to do hostels and probably quite okay for a couple, too. Concept is nice, the little ”lazy” merchandise is quite nicr and affordable and some of them are actually usefull. Did not have a chance to use the dpa as I did not know I had to book in advance, but that is okay. It's definitely worth considering if your budget is less than 100 dollars for a double room in Central seoul. The receptionist was super nice and helpful and answered all my questions. Cleaning wise, I found it spotless"

"Overall, this hotel was average. It was acceptable for a short stay, but there were a few inconveniences. The air-conditioning had some issues and did not function very well, which made the room slightly uncomfortable at times. Other than that, the room was reasonably clean, and cleanliness seemed acceptable. Some basic amenities were not provided, such as toothbrushes, which had to be purchased separately. This felt a bit inconvenient and unusual for a hotel stay. Most instructions and signage were in Korean only, which made things less clear for foreign guests, but we managed eventually. One important point is that WeFeel should clearly provide both an English address and a Korean address. When we used Uber from the city area, the location was confusing and made it feel like we were heading into a very remote area. This could easily worry first-time visitors, so clearer address information would be very helpful. Facilities were basic and nothing special. Overall, the hotel is manageable but quite ordinary, with room for improvement in guest convenience and clarity."

"Harvoin kirjoitan hotelliarvosteluja, mutta tästä minun on pakko! Tänään päätin vaihtaa aluetta ja siirryin Hongdaessa sijaitsevaan hotelliin. Ei vertailua, ei vahinkoa – molemmat hotellit Soulin suosituilla alueilla, mutta ero on valtava! Samalla varoitan 9 Bricks Hotel Hongdaesta. Aion kirjoittaa arvostelun huomenna uloskirjautuessani... Tässä kehun L'escapea – sijainti on erinomainen! Metrolinjan 4 Hoehyeonin aseman uloskäynti 7:stä alkaen on kylttejä, jotka ohjaavat hotellille! Itse asiassa opasteita ei edes tarvita, koska hotellin näkee heti maan pinnalle noustessa. Pieni ylämäki, ja kun olin puolivälissä matkalaukun kanssa, hotellin henkilökunta juoksi apuun! Palvelu oli aivan loistavaa 👍 Jos uloskäynnin 7 kautta ei nouse maan pinnalle, toiseen suuntaan pääsee suoraan Shinsegae-tavarataloon. Kymmenien kerrosten tavaratalossa on ruokaa ja verovapaita myymälöitä, niin luksustuotteita kuin edullisempia vaihtoehtojakin – todella hyvä shoppailupaikka! Shinsegaen ulkona on myös Chengdu Taikoo Li -tyyppinen 3D-jättinäyttö, mutta se on paljon hienompi kuin Chengdun, eikä siinä ole niin paljon mainoksia. Hotellista on vain 5 minuutin kävelymatka Myeongdongiin. Tärkeänä turistina Myeongdong on pakollinen nähtävyys! Erityisesti tänään Hongdaessa käytyäni... haluan niin kovasti takaisin Myeongdongiin 😢 Sitten itse hotelli (kuvat ovat hieman sekaisin, enkä pysty säätämään niitä...). Hotellissa on oma tyylinsä, ehkä hieman vanhanaikainen eikä niin sopiva perheille, mutta se on puhdas, siisti ja silti tyylikäs! Jopa hisseissä on koristeita, hieman kuin Lontoon The Ritzissä. Kylpytuotteet ovat samat kuin Six Sensesissä, kaikki BYREDOa. Minibaari on täysin ilmainen, ja Nescafé-kapselikahvi ja suklaa ovat myös erinomaisia. Hotellin ravintola on saanut Michelin-tähden vuodesta toiseen, ei halpa, mutta varmasti hyvä. Tea Lounge oli jo suljettu, kun saavuin, mutta uskon senkin olevan hyvä. 26. kerroksen baari on todella rento, ja siellä voi ottaa upeita kuvia! Huoneeseen toimitettavat postikortit ovat todella kauniita, ja niille tarjotaan jopa ilmainen postitus. Pidän myös muistilehtiöstä ja kylpytuotteiden pakkauksista, käsin piirretty kuvitustyyli on niin kaunis! Hotellin palvelu on myös erinomaista, henkilökunta puhuu yleensä englantia, auttaa matkatavaroiden kanssa, tilaa taksin ja avaa ovia. Kaiken kaikkiaan se on täysin huippuluokan hotellipalvelu! Mutta maksamani hinta oli vain reilut 800 yuania (n. 100€). Se ylitti odotukset moninkertaisesti. Seuraavan kerran Souliin tullessani varaan 100% varmasti uudelleen!"

"I recently stayed at the Royal Hotel Seoul in Myeongdong, and overall, it’s a solid choice if you want convenience, comfort, and easy access to everything in the city. The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage — you step right out into the heart of Myeongdong where shops, street food stalls, cafés, and subway stations are all just a few minutes away. It’s incredibly easy to explore Seoul from here. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though on the smaller side, which is common in busy city-center hotels. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout the stay. The décor leans a bit more classic than modern, but everything functions well. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially during check-in and when handling luggage. They responded quickly to requests and were polite throughout the stay. However, a few service inconsistencies were noticeable — nothing major, but some guests might pick up on it. Facilities are decent but not standout. The breakfast was okay, though the selection felt limited for the price. The lounge and common areas are clean but could use a refresh. Some bathroom layouts also feel a little dated, and water pressure/temperature can vary at times. Overall, Royal Hotel Seoul is best for travelers who want to be right in the center of the action and value convenience above everything else. If you prioritize bigger rooms or modern luxury, you might find it a bit modest. But for location, cleanliness, and a comfortable stay, it’s a reliable option in Myeongdong."

"オープン初日に宿泊しました。慌ただしそうでしたが、フロントの方が日本語で伝えようとしてくれていたりとても親切な方でした。 トイレやシャワールームはすりガラスなので友達との利用には少し不向きかもしれません。スリッパがなかったので持っていくと良いです。 クロ駅からすぐで空港行きのバス停まで徒歩5分ほど。コンビニやMEGA COFFEEがそばにあるだけでなく近くのNC百貨店にスタバ、オリヤン、ダイソー、スーパー、レストラン等もあり好立地です。 コチョクでライブがある際にも利用しやすいと思いました。"
