"The location was absolutely perfect. It was easy to find since it’s right in front of Shinsegae Department Store, which was also great for shopping. Best of all, it's close to Seoul Station, making it very convenient for staying before or after taking the train. After dropping off my bags, I visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, and Anguk. The close proximity made it the optimal choice for planning my travel route. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for accommodation in the heart of Myeongdong with great transportation links."

"Perfect for solo travellers, there is a lift so you do not need to climb up the stairs with your luggage. The boss is very friendly to answer you questions. Clear instructions are provided in reaching the accomodation. Extremely cheap price for staying in Seoul, they even provide breakfast. I highly recommend this place for all solo budget travellers!!"

"The hotel is located at the center of Myeongdong so it is easy to go around and all your needs is just around the corner. The room is very clean and spacious with complete amenities. In terms of breakfast. It is well balance. They have bread, cereals, different kind of spreads, Coffee and tea. They are very strict with the ”no noise policy” from 10-7am which I think is good. So all the guest can rest and relax in their respective rooms. The front desk personel can speak fluent English so it is easy to communicate. Overall I'm 100% satisfied with the service. If I'm going back to Korea, I will definitely book again in this hotel."

"Enjoyed our 6d 5n at Namsan Guesthouse with amazing rooftop view of Namsan tower. Facilities also great and super clean. Besides, the host respond very fast to our inquiries. Easily accessible to subway station and bus with 5 minutes walk only. But make sure your legs are strong and fit as it is located uphill. Really recommended for whoever looking for a stay at myeongdong. Absolutely will come back to stay here in future."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cave Myeongdong for six nights. From the moment i checked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The location was perfect for my needs, situated in a central area with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Whether i wanted to explore local shops, dine at nearby Halal restaurants, or visit popular tourist spots, everything was within a short distance."

"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, and the beds are quite firm and not very comfortable. The pillows are old and didn’t provide much support. The service, however, was excellent—staff were very diligent, kind, and helpful. Guests are supposed to bring out their own towels and garbage, but they even offered to help with that, which I really appreciated. They have free washing machine that was a plus!  Breakfast was good. At first, I thought it would just be bread and spreads, but they actually offer a decent variety that changes daily, which is quite nice for a small hostel. But you have to wash your own dishes after you done. Overall, would I recommend it? Yes, especially for people who don’t mind compact rooms. Would I stay here again? Probably yes, but I really hope they improve the bedding."

"Nice people at reception, the location is EXCELLENT close to three metro stations (you can get almost anywhere easily), although the place itself might be hard to find initially. The main door is awkward to close. Some very minor wear and tear. The bed is quite hard for me as a westerner but it is so cheap and convenient that I just used it as a fallback/storage. There isn't even a checkout process, you just leave. Shower didn't work so had to use another one. The manager didn't explain they keep the towels in the shower room on the floor below. This is much nicer than being given a towel, you can just leave it in the bathroom or pick it up there. One of the managers would never turn on the heating so was a relief when the other manager was in. I was out a lot so never really complained. Decent for the price. I was content."

"Stayed 4 nights, 3rd day the toilet light broke down. 4th day the shower kept leaking water although I was using the sink. And there’s always an unpleasant smell from the toilet. Though nothing major, still enjoyed my stay, loved the location, near to stations and convenience stores. There’s also funnily a Photoism booth located nearby lol. Thanks for the stay."
