Absolutely great location! Convenient for shopping at Myeongdong district and get to the airport via airport shuttle. For light traveller who can cope with tiny room, I would recommend staying at this hostel if you are mostly outside visiting places. Also. for light sleeper. I would recommend bringing ear plugs with you as the noise isolation is so so.

The hotel is located at the center of Myeongdong so it is easy to go around and all your needs is just around the corner. The room is very clean and spacious with complete amenities. In terms of breakfast. It is well balance. They have bread, cereals, different kind of spreads, Coffee and tea. They are very strict with the ”no noise policy” from 10-7am which I think is good. So all the guest can rest and relax in their respective rooms. The front desk personel can speak fluent English so it is easy to communicate. Overall I'm 100% satisfied with the service. If I'm going back to Korea, I will definitely book again in this hotel.

Huone oli juuri kuvien mukainen ja tilava! Se on hintansa arvoinen kuin japanilaiset hotellit, siisti ja tilava, joten olen erittäin tyytyväinen. Minulla on muutamia tavallisia hotelleja, ja tämä liittyy joukkoon! Se ei ole ahdas edes matkalaukun avattuani, ja mikä parasta, jääkaapissa on jopa Pepsiä ja 7Upia, mistä olin vaikuttunut, kun taas hotelleissa on vain vettä! 🤩 Mukana on kantarelli-vartalosaippua, ja sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä voi saada 1000 W:n setin. Hiustenkuivaajan ilmanpaine ei myöskään ole huono. 🧐 Kylpyhuoneessa on jopa kylpyamme ja hyvä suihkupaine. 🫶🏻 Kuten kaikissa korealaisissa hotelleissa, vedenpaineen ja lämpötilan säätäminen voi kuitenkin olla hankalaa. 😓 Tyynyn vieressä on latauspistoke, jossa on noin viisi erilaista liitintä, joten voit ladata minkä tahansa laitteen ilman muunninta. →Kaapeli on kuitenkin lyhyt. Television vieressä on muunnin, joten kunhan sinulla on USB-kaapeli, sinulla ei ole ongelmia tuoda omaa silitysrautaa tai hiustenkuivaajaa. Hotellin edessä sijaitsevalla Yeongdeungpo Marketilla voit nauttia erilaisista kaupoista päiväsaikaan, ja hotellin vieressä on myös kanaravintola! Alue on upea, ja siellä on paljon lähikauppoja, Kyungcheon Chicken ja ympäri vuorokauden auki olevia keittoravintoloita! Yeongdeungpo-asema on myös vain 3 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, joten voit tehdä ostoksia Olive Youngissa, tavaratalossa ja maanalaisessa ostoskeskuksessa ilman ongelmia. Keskustassa on paljon yöelämän kohteita, joten olin hieman huolissani yksin kävelystä, mutta välttelin keskustaa ja suuntasin hotellille pääkatua pitkin, joten se ei ollut ongelma. Yeongdeungpon asema, Yeongdeungpon tori ja Yeongdeungpo-gun toimisto ovat kaikki kävelyetäisyydellä, joten vaikka paluupäiväni oli ruuhka-aika, pääsin Yeongdeungpon toriasemalta linjalla 1 Gimpon lentokentälle helposti, jopa matkalaukun kanssa! Siinä ei ole juuri mitään pahaa, paitsi että jos minun pitäisi sanoa jotain negatiivista, se olisi se, että kylpyhuone/wc tulvisi, jos irrottaisin kylpyammeen pistokkeen, ja että minun piti pyytää siivousta. Palaan ehdottomasti, kun olen Yeongdeungpon alueella!😍

Shopping - Near Dongmyo flea market (clothing bargain & snacks shopping) - Tomato Mart, Daiso Food - Restaurant just at downstairs opposite & at the corner to hotel Transport - The main road has airport bus 6002 direct to airport, near to Dongmyo metro. Hotel - spacious with price below KRW 60,000 - self check in, wow‼️ - heated floor in room, very warm at night - hot drinking water at lobby - newly open in Dec 2025

The location is not bad, a 3-5 minute walk away from the nearest metro station and a 30-40 minute commute for many of the biggest tourist locations, like Myeongdong or Hongdae. The area is home to many older residents, so please do be mindful of that when visiting! There is a CU and GS25 nearby, along with a few coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel cleanliness was ok, the walls were somewhat beat up and require a new paint job, and the bathroom is ... interesting. It is primarily clean, nothing to be very shocked about. The bathroom quality is odd though. The bathtub drain is just there for decoration, as the water goes straight through the drain and into a drain on the floor. The shower-head, when hung up on the holder, sprays directly forward onto the wall, and not yourself. This is not the best quality, but it definitely is manageable and not much of an inconvenience. The hotel staff were all very nice, and spoke enough English to understand. Room service would come whenever asked for and provided the room with simple amenities, like cooled water bottles, hygiene products, hair-ties, and other similar products. The location does not have any clothes washer, so you are instructed to get your items cleaned at a nearby laundromat. Providing an authentic cultural experience, you could say.

I thought Gangman Seven hostel was a very pleasant experience! For the value of the price it’s really unmatched in Seoul. While a bit far from the touristic neighborhood, it’s very close to several subway lines, reasonably clean for the price. ⬇️ Also if you leave the hostel and take a left and walk for 6-7 minutes, you will see this dumpling place pictured below, really incredible and affordable dumplings, I highly recommend. Went back 2 nights

2泊3日で泊まるなら丁度良い。 17時チェックインだったが、スーツケースを預けられるか聞いたら、15時なのにチェックインできた。 近くの大きい駅ぐ、江南駅なのでバスで動くと結構楽です。 大きい荷物があると、タクシーを使った方いい。 立地的に坂が多いので、バスとタクシーを合わせて使う事をオススメ。 部屋は、スタンダードダブルを選択。シャワー派の人は丁度いい。タバコの匂いが気になるくらいです。

Mixed experience from this place. We had 2 rooms booked and one included a small shower room which I did not use because it was gross, there was lots of mould and it smelt like a public bathroom, so I kept the door shut. The rooms themselves were fine and clean and great that they come with a fridge and plenty of shelves etc to put your things as there isn’t too much floor space. The bathroom was ok and kept clean and there were always clean towels available if needed. There is also a washing machine that can be used for a fair charge. The kitchen was well equipped with a stove top, microwave, hot and cold water and a large fridge and freezer. Unfortunately it was a bit dirty and needed a proper sort out, the fridge was rammed full of things and I’m sure the stuff at the back had been there for months! The desk is only manned a few hours a day and even then you have to search as the staff will be busy doing things. The encounters we had were mostly great, one staff member let us check in early which was much needed after travelling all night! Another helped us find information for a doctor after one of us had some pretty nasty bites (received while staying in one of the rooms 😬). He really couldn’t do enough to help us and sent the address for us to find etc. We did have an issue in the evening once as there was a flood in the corridor right outside my room, as there was nobody about we sent a message which was answered immediately but with ‘we will sort it first thing in the morning’. This has obviously happened before as he didn’t seem worried and the floor in my room was all warped from getting wet. It was dangerous to leave as I didn’t want anyone to slip so we ended up cleaning it up as there was no staff about! Overall it was a good place to stay for the price and the bus stop is just a couple of minutes away. Just needs a good deep clean and more staff presence!

When you check.in there is no receptionist to assist you personally. All you have to do is call them and you will be instructed to get your room card. The room is good because we only stayed at night to sleep. What I want to suggest to the management is I hope that they will not put there garbage at the entrance because it's not good to see and a little bit cleanliness is needed.
